Absolute joke don't not buy!

Absolutely a joke brought a car from here. Had so many problems with it. I have called them multiple times with not much success. They fixed a small problem. I have now found out they sold me a car with a failing catalytic converter and they are refusing to help with it or even speak with me. Disgusting!

STAY WELL CLEAR!

STAY WELL CLEAR!

Buy a car from here and you will regret it 100%.

They don’t send V5’s

They don’t answer your calls or call you back.

They take your money and run.

Very very poor!

Not processing the V5, and I am getting reminders about taxing my part exchanged car

Although I was assured by Camran when I chased a week ago that the V5 had been posted to the DVLA, this was in fact a lie. The DVLA confirmed that there was nothing received, nothing being processed at all, the car purchase was on the 23rd March, it is now 19th April.

I am getting road tax reminders for my part exchanged car, and legally, I am still the owner, have responsibility for the car. It is logged with the DVLA that Holbeach Motors have not done their basic transactional actions. But now, I have the pain of circumnavigating Holbeach Motors by running through online methods of removing myself from the car record that I sold a month ago... and applying for my V5 without the involvement of Holbeach Motors. Luckily this is free to do in this circumstance. However, the basic responsibilities of a car sales company are to work through all paperwork, it is what they do.

I have seen other bad reviews about V5 documents being withheld or not processed. Avoid. Or ask at the time of the deal that you'll post the V5 yourself when you've purchased a car.

Dishonest car sales

Went to look at a Peugeot 308, drove fine but rear driver side tyre was worn very close to limits and it needed jumping to start, after a bit of negotiation we agreed on a price as long as the rear tyre was replaced and if the battery wouldn't take a charge the battery was replaced. Went to collect the car and the rear tyre seemed identical to the one that was on there, when I questioned why it hadn't been replaced Cameron the car salesperson swore blind it had so I pushed it further saying that is not a new tyre, his response was " in the car trade when we say well replace something it doesn't mean it will be new, I'll knock £20 off the price". As we were leaving my wife said "was the battery ok or did it need a NEW one", he replied " Yeah we've fitted a new one", thought no more of it, got home and popped the bonnet surprise, surprise same old battery. What a bunch of cowboys, they are exactly why when you meet a used car sales man you instantly have your guard up. If you take the time to read this do yourself a favour and move on to another garage, I wish I'd checked Trustpilot before I gave them my cash, lesson learned.

We arranged to view a car advertised…

We arranged to view a car advertised made an appointment as we had a long drive over 100 miles as this was the car we'd been looking for hence made an appointment. After checking the day before that all was well after difficulty getting a response we were told there was a family emergency so we thought ok. We were then told to come the day after ! We took time off work and WE called again to check all is well, to be then told we have a power cut. Brain starts ticking ! It may of been genuine! We had to call them to find this out no contact from them to tell us. So if we hadn't called we would have wasted fuel and time. This is unacceptable from a business no apologies no contact. WE called back later on that morning, power was on but more excuses and told to leave it for a couple of days ! They knew we'd taken time off that day ! Poorly run and a waste of our time ! Decided not to go regardless. After reading previous review think we had a lucky escape!

Just dishonest.

Just dishonest. My wife and I were sold a car with a catalogue of faults, some of which were intentionally concealed by withholding documentation at point of sale. There were 3 known advisories on a car sold as "mechanically perfect", 2 of which were brake related. The 3rd, a tyre, was rectified by this garage eventually. We've been promised a headrest that is "in the post" every time we call about it and the car is currently at another garage having a very seriously worn and disintegrating wheel bearing replaced. We've contacted the garage at least 4 times by phone and twice by recorded mail notifying them of faults.
After less than two weeks of ownership we requested to return the car, which they clearly didn't want back, and offered my husband £740 less than we'd paid for it.
Exactly the sort of garage that gives used car dealers a bad name.
Add to that, we drove 45 minutes to collect the car and it was sold filthy inside and out.
We have 100% documented evidence and photos to back up all statements above.
