Incredible company

Incredible company: nothing is too big or small for these guys. The engineers that come out are professional and friendly. The office staff are second to none.
The best Gas/ Plumbing company I’ve ever had the pleasure of using, and will continue using and recommending.

Called groves gas with a boiler problem they said they would be out the same day had already booked a call with British gas they told me they would attend in two weeks cancelled British gas and went with groves gas could not fault them they are now doing some extra work for me would recommend this company to anyone

Boiler service

I was having trouble with my boiler kicking in, luckily for me when i phoned Groves Gas i had a engineer here within the hour, what a lovely polite young man he was, explained everything to clearly so if it happened again i would know what to do. Would highly recommend this company.

Very good customer service

Much appreciated the effort Jack went to, to liaise with the Esse manufacturer to procure all the technical imformation and sales lead times for a product we were interested in. Although we didnt buy on this occasion, I would happily get in touch with the company again and recommend to others.

Brilliant service from Groves Gas

Brilliant service from Groves Gas. Called them at 2pm on a Sunday. They were here at 3pm.
Found fault and only took 20 mins.
Very nice fitter who explained everything to me. Also checked that everything else was OK. Recommend Groves Gas for efficient service and staff are always polite and ready to help.

Cant recommend sadly

Cant recommend sadly, initial request was to fix a gas fire that was not firing properly. Engineer came out and diagnosed a thermo coupler(?) so ordered this and paid for another visit, this didn't resolve the issue and was told a different part was probably needed and I would receive a call back to discuss.

After a few days I called chasing, was told I would get a call back from someone else, a few more days still no call back so chased again, same thing was told I would get a call back. Again nothing, its now been around 2.5 weeks since I was initially told a different part was needed.

I am £300 out of pocket and have absolutely nothing to show for it and total lack of communication from Groves Gas.

Cannot recommend based on my experience.

Brilliant service

Guys came today to swap my log burner. Superb is not enough to commend these guys . So respectful of my property and shared a wealth of information on how to best run my stove. The stove they put in is one of there’s from Groves. It runs superbly and throws out enough heat to warm the house.can’t thank Groves team enough. Thank you so very very much .

Great new gas fire 👍

Super helpful service. Really polite staff who are always professional in their approach from initial enquiry to final fitting.

The remote control option on the Gazco is fantastic for anyone with mobility issues.

The installation team were really efficient and extremely tidy.

I had a service engineer out

I had a service engineer out, as hadn`t used boiler for a while, for a service, Got charged £95, for a service that never happened, wrongly diagnosed fault into thinking main heat exchanger had gone, when massive leak under floorboards, this was not found as wrong advice given on major costly repairs so opted for new boiler, when simple fix and 2 parts would have been sorted. unregistered GAS SAFE EMPLOYEES boiler still wrong no heat 3 weeks smell of gas and pulsating, its there way or no way BEWARE, shame on a good firm,

Dear Mr Hey

Unfortunately, you have been contradicting yourself and not giving an honest and true account of our dealings.
You asked us to attend to carry out service but didnt advise the boiler wasnt working and hadnt been for quite sometime. We have documented emails, photographs and video proof of everything.

Gareth Morgan was sent to your property . He is fully qualified and registered with Gas Safe.

On Gareth's Visit It was found that the heat exchanger was in a bad state of repair, (we Have photos of this) and that while attempting to top the pressure up in your heating system the water pressure in the boiler would not even hold long enough for us to attempt to look around and inspect anywhere for leaks let alone the basement. The water being pressurised into your system was pouring through the condensate pipework outside down the wall where the pipe was cut off years previous as there is a lot of staining on the wall, we have photos of this. This is 100% clear Clarification that the heat exchanger had failed and split/erroded internally.

This was explained to you at the time.

After our visit you were given the cost to replace the heat exchanger. not advised in either way to change the boiler.

YOU asked for a price on replacing the boiler instead.(your choice not forced in anyway). we prefer to repair anytime possible when viable.

YOU chose to go ahead with replacement Boiler.(again your choice Not forced in any way).

YOU failed to pay the deposit, Due to Cards being declined, You failed Finance check, but besides all that we took the Gamble upon ourselves to continue anyway out of concern for your wellbeing and also concern for the time of year and cold weather.

Within a day WE sent up our qualified plumber, although not gas safe registered, we had him to pipe up and connect the replacement boiler. You even emailed us to say what a fantastic lad and a credit to our company. The installation was finished, checked and signed off by Zak, (unfortunately for yourself, Zak has video of him carrying out the tightness test at your property to prove there were no gas leaks.) we have registered your boiler with Gas safe within the guidelines of the HSE and Gas safe register.

YOU say we have Broken our contract, You haven't Paid anything at all yet. you say boiler is hissing, but you wont allow us to visit and take a look.

You have said yourself State multiple times it has been losing pressure for years. The pipe leaking on a joint under the boiler below the cupboard was found and noticed on the day the boiler was piped up there was a dripping sound but the boiler wasnt loosing pressure like it was. We have photo evidence of the underneath of the cupboard showing no signs of water damage. When Lewis found the water leak, at that point the boiler pressure was maintaining long enough for Lewis to find the additional leak.

WE have Video Evidence in the past few weeks of your boiler Working well and Pluming as it should considering Multiple emails from yourself stating you haven't been using the boiler then others stating it makes noises etc when you are using the boiler.

You also stated there was a gas leak a few times, there is no supporting evidence and according to our video footage you continued to use the boiler.

WE have on multiple occasions sought a resolution with your self, you are constantly rude, constantly belittling our services and personnel, you have insulted me by calling me a Little HITLER this i find extremely offensive given the atrocities suffered and ideology surrounding this. With all this evidence we have collected we are in preparation to move forwards with you trying to worm out of paying your way.

This poor review is based on you not wanting to pay for a job that has been done for you in impecable time and to a great standard as always. Extremely dissapointed in ourselves for trusting your word that you will sort payment.

This local company are excellent

This local company are excellent. They are always willing to go that extra mile with their customers. The employees are always on time, they clear up after themselves, they are polite, courteous and respectful when in your home.
We have LPG gas and they are very accommodating with this.
They are reasonably priced too.
The office staff are always helpful too.
I would strongly recommend this local company.

A great company with a professional attitude. The overall communication between them and me was very good. Zak the engineer carried out the work on my Mitsubishi ASHP keeping me informed at each stage.
