At Grade Potential, we believe the most impactful learning doesn’t need to happen through a screen. It happens face-to-face. It’s not just our preference, it’s the foundation of how we work with students and families every day. We focus on in-person tutoring because we’ve seen what happens when students build real relationships with the people helping them. We match each learner with a local, vetted educator who meets with them at home or at a location that works for the family. It’s familiar, consistent, and built for sustainable progress. We know every family’s needs are different. That’s why we offer virtual sessions when needed, especially for students in rural areas, with inconsistent home time, or who simply prefer learning online. But our model is intentionally built around real-life connection and in-person support because those elements tend to lead to stronger outcomes over time. Whether the subject is elementary reading or graduate-level writing, we help families find the right tutor for their needs, their pace, and their goals. And from first outreach to final session, we handle the logistics, the communication, and the follow-through, so the focus stays where it should: on consistent, high-quality learning.

Grade Potential is has been great
Grade Potential is has been great! They are very punctual with communication and getting you a tutor as soon as possible. They are flexible and find tutors that can work around your schedule and the tutor can come to your house which makes it easy for myself. They follow up with you to check to see if you like the tutor or not and if you would like to switch to someone else. I appreciate the professionalism, the communication, and the flexibility that they offer. My son tutor Autumn is great! She’s so sweet and communicative. She’s motivating, keeps a positive attitude, and pushes my son to do so great with his work. She makes him feel comfortable and makes him want to do better. Tutor has helped my son a lot so far. Will definitely continue the process and recommend to many others.

Dr. Brown works so well with our daughter. She describes exactly what she wants to see so well. Dr. Brown is patient, yet firm as to redirecting when our daughter strays in thought.

We’ve had an incredible experience with Grade Potential. They were very skilled at finding us the perfect tutor. Taylor has been with us for several years now and has been instrumental in helping us find new techniques and different perspectives to help our son study to earn the grades and scores he was capable of all along. It has been life-changing for us and such a positive experience.

I love that they do so much work to find the right match. Also if it turns out not to be the right match they take care of all that too.

Kinsley has proven to be an outstanding tutor for my daughter. She demonstrates a high level of professionalism, patience, and dedication in every session. Kinsley takes the time to thoroughly explain concepts and ensures that lessons are tailored to my daughter’s individual learning needs. Her thoughtful approach and consistent support have contributed positively to my daughter’s academic progress. My daughter absolutely loves the days that Kinsley comes over to tutor her. I highly recommend Kinsley for her exceptional tutoring skills and commitment to student success.
Wow! Grade Potential Rocks!
Wow! Grade Potential was awesome! My senior was in need of Pre-Calculus tutoring. She had mid C-level grades before I found Grade Potential. Not only are they reasonably priced, Sarah, my child’s tutor was phenomenal- time flexible, knowledgeable, very warm and friendly! She knew her stuff! my daughter earned a 105 grade for her end of the year test. To say we are pleased with Grade Potential (and Sarah) would be an understatement. The admin. staff are wonderful as well. They are very responsive and checked in throughout the semester. I recommend Grade Potential fully without any reservations.
Teaching methods are excellent, and she relates to Jeffrey with a strategy and friendliness.
We realized we had known Cynthia from years ago to say hi. She was already in the school system and I had her son in my college class. (Liz). She is upbeat, friendly, engaging of Jeffrey through games, and teaching him to focus on letters, sounds, etc.
They don’t practice what they preach!!!and they keep your money!
Their communication is bad and they stopped the tutor for coming to my house when I cancelled and I had paid already. I called at the beginning of December and they never called me back. They owe me 3 classes. They just kept my money. They are really bad at customer service too!! If I could I wouldn’t give them one start either.

We had an amazing experience with Grade Potential Tutoring. My son Ryan worked with Mr. Graham over a 10-week period, and the progress he made was incredible. When he started, Ryan was reading at a pre-K level. By the end of tutoring, he had reached an on-target first grade reading level—and he’s still there now. Mr. Graham was patient, encouraging, and knew exactly how to connect with Ryan and keep him engaged. Ryan gained not only reading skills but also confidence, which made such a difference in his overall learning. I’m so grateful for the support and would highly recommend Grade Potential Tutoring and Mr. Graham to any parent looking to help their child grow academically.
