Delivered 2 days early than you…

Delivered 2 days early than you advised, which could have been a problem had we not happened to be in. And in a 7.5Ton truck in spite of my message asking that a small van be used due to restricted access. Also paid no attention to my issue of the system having the incorrect address so item would have been delivered to Craigend Farm NOT The Bellabout had the driver not sensibly called us. He then helped immensely by bringing the heavy item down the drive in a sack barrow otherwise at 79 years old there was no way we could have moved this. So full marks to your driver, but we feel this should be noted for future reference.

Dropped a star because..
Proposed delivery date was not suitable but order confirmation stated that the courier would notify of delivery and at that point the delivery could be amended. No such notification sent/received and item delivered unannounced ....one day early. Luckily I was at home.....

I purchased a vacuum cleaner 6 weeks…

I purchased a vacuum cleaner 6 weeks ago & it quickly developed a fault ( seems like a loose wire) I contacted the company who asked me to return it. ( I don’t have the box obviously)
I said you send me a new one and I’ll return damaged one in the box.
They then emailed and said this wasn’t an option and if I return the broken one then they’ll refund me.
I’m furious! Never buy from these people

Terrible experience

Would have given no stars but that isn't an option! Order was placed on eBay accidentally and the cancelled immediately. However they still took the money from my bank account and do not respond to messages sent via eBay. Apparently eBay can't escalate the refund process until 10pm tonight but rest assured Go shop direct, this will be escalated and you WILL refund my £129.99

Don't expect any support - Avoid.

Yet another company who are not interested in supporting customers and making Amazon Marketplace one more reason to avoid shopping there. We ordered a £60 kettle from GoShopDirect via Amazon Marketplace little over 2 years ago. Not a cheap model by any means, and this has since developed a fault. Contacted GoShopDirect who's response was - out of warranty, nothing we can do (Ergo: nothing we are willing to do). Nowhere does it state what the warranty is for this product and lets face it - £60 kettle, you'd expect 3-5 years from it considering it only gets used 2-3 times a day in this house. Either way, they don't care and are quick to tell you this. Just add GoShopDirect to the endless list of get rich quick companies who will take your money and balk at the first sign of needed your help with something. One more reason to shop at John Lewis and stop ordering from companies like this.

B&Q or Goshopdirect.co.uk is it the courier? I don't know.

Saw a fridge Igenix IG255X Freestanding Under Counter Larder Fridge, 136 Litre, suited me down to the ground saw that it was on a few google sites at the same price so cheap was not a factor. Delivery was ok time wise although I was not advised until the day of delivery that it was arriving a good job I was in as I never saw the notification. Never got to see if the fridge worked so can't advise on that.

I see many companies working with third parties to bring their product to market and increase sales and confidence in their products. Amazon is a classic example and you sell this same product with them. missed it the first time. But do believe if I had purchased this product through Amazon you would not have got away with how you treated me as a customer as you did with B&Q.
What I was disappointed about was the level of service and how your staff chose to deal with it I have never been so insulted in all my life of shopping. I was spending my hard earnt money and although not verbally as nobody would talk to me other than through email. If I was to show some of the correspondence I believe some of their customers would be appalled and I truly believe that an apology would be nothing but a PR exercise.

Within 8 hours of receiving my fridge, you were advised I advised B&Q that the product was cosmetically damaged as your contact site was not working at that time. all the information was shared so that whoever picked up the inquiry could make a fast and positive decision to ensure the customer was not inconvenienced any further than they had been already.

But no neither B&Q nor yourselves had that in your remit. Having a 48-72 email turnaround was very frustrating and led to delays ad eventually a refund on a product not faulty but a flaw in the whole communication system between yourselves and the third party.

I have bought a new fridge that was delivered in good time undamaged and no cheaper than what you offered. See to me it's not about things going wrong it's about how your staff deals with the problem.

You may come back and use excuses and try to justify your actions but it still remains that all I wanted was a fridge without the drama and if there was the deal with it in the manner you would want to be dealt with. You see if you focus on the customer then everybody wins I did I got a fridge albeit later than expected.

I note from the last few emails that you and B&Q are still debating who was wrong and that despite still trying to deliver after offering a refund was abysmal and unfair to the courier.

I am willing listen to you, you have my contact details as long as I am not going to have to listen to your hardback story about staff shortages etc. I am surprised as when I asked to speak to a manager I was refused point blank asked for a name to write refused again yet now after all that's happened you now want to talk. I would like change my opinion and believe that this was an isolated incident.

I ordered my freezer on 17/2/2023 and…

I ordered my freezer on 17/2/2023 and when delivered on 24/2/23 I found on unpacking that although the packing was perfect the freezer was damaged I used the App to report the damage to the freezer and reject the freezer requesting a replacement. They informed me that it would take a month to replace the freezer. Two days later I decided I couldn’t wait a month for a freezer and cancelled the replacement and requested a refund. Still waiting for the refund?? The freezer is still sitting in my front hall. They sent me an A3 grey plastic bag and told me I could get it scanned in the post office Im assuming its to return the freezer. They did not send instructions on how to get a under counter 90L Freezer into a A3 plastic bag. The freezer is still sitting in my front hall. Could you refund my money and I can get the Bin men to take the freezer away and dump it Please

Not powerful …

The igenix fan I purchased is very basic, I wish I’d payed a bit extra and ordered something better. The description made it sound satisfactory for the purpose, which it is not.
Also did not get next day delivery even though I payed for next day. Ordered Saturday, arrived mid week.
When queried that I’d payed extra for next day and it hadn’t arrived, I was told it’s on its way.

Wrong items delivered took an age to get collected, nearly two weeks after collection still waiting for a refund. Nothing wrong with other orders if things go right they are fine if it goes wrong your in trouble. How Amazon allows them on their site I dont know
