Helpful staff
Went in store today 22/09/26, store assistant named Alan was very helpful and knowledgeable. Only gripe I have is with the store not the staff, in order to try on some of the coats Alan had to disconnect the security tags as they are all tagged together. Definitely recommend, store nicely laid out and spacious

Great experience today at Go Outdoors, Tamworth
Had a great experience today at Go Outdoors Tamworth, I really thought I knew my walking boots until I spoke to Matt, OMG this guy was so knowledgeable about walking boots, socks and insoles etc, me and my wife explained that we had an upcoming trip to Scotland and the environments we will be walking in and he guided us through the process of choosing the correct footwear, who knew there was so much to picking the correct boots, I left go outdoors educated on boots, socks and insoles, if you’re thinking about picking up some walking shoes or boots I strongly recommend Go Outdoors Tamworth and speaking to Matt !!! Thank you Matt your an absolute star ⭐

I visited the Tamworth store today to purchase walking boots.
I visited the Tamworth store today, (16/9/26) with a view to purchasing new walking boots. Harley, the sales assistant was very knowledgeable and informative about the brands I was considering. He was able to give me tips to ensure I was making the right choice for fit and comfort and encouraged me to have a little walk around the store to get a feel for the boots. Harley was extremely helpful and polite, an asset to the store.

Though it is a small store there’s still plenty of choice and the staff were very helpful. Especially Alan and Matt who were constantly checking storage amounts in the back and answered any questions with professionalism.
