I went in store today to sort out a return. Matthew was very helpful, pleasant, polite and sorted my return out for me very quickly and without any difficulties.

Matthew went out of his way to help me while I was in the shop

I’ve been at this shop for the first time and really enjoyed it. Friendly staff, reasonable prices and variety of everything. And nice lad Matthew served me at the till so thanks to him too

Adam helped us when chosen the right chair for are camping trip. He was patient ,friendly and professional.He also multitasked as other customers were asking him to help them at the same time. He was polite and had really good communication skill to make sure that all were looked after. He went into the back of the store to look for other chair options and also demonstrated putting them up and down and then carried them to the till for me which led to a successful sale. Didn’t even go in for that but customer service was amazing so ended up getting a double camping chair for me and my daughter! Thanks Adam

Thank you Adam for helping me choose my new walking boots today, I must of tried just about every pair of boots they had. Adam was determined to find a pair of boots that fit me properly and he did just that. Thank you Adam the Scarpa boots are great. Well done Go outdoors 10/10

Bought some walking boots today
Adam the sales consultant was really helpful and patient getting me many pairs of boots I wanted to try. No pushy sales listened to what I wanted and obviously making sure they were a good fit I requested a few pairs. Finally bought a branded scarpa pair lovely lite weight and perfect fit. Cost me more than I originally wanted to pay but buy the best buy once as recently being caught out buying cheaper and them not fitting properly.
Not a bad range in stock with patient polite friendly staff.

Found everything I needed, friendly and helpful service from Matthew at the till.

Excellent customer service,wasnt felt like I was been rushed, Carrie took the time to help n give advice ! Plus like on the till was polite too but but didn’t get her name ! Love coming in this shop for the bargain but mainly the service is also great !

Carrie at the Hull branch was exceptionally helpful and an absolute pleasure to work with, which made our shopping experience so wonderful that we ended up purchasing more than we originally planned.

Was with one of the staff called Carrie she was amazing for advice and very helpful, pleasant as we bought camping equipment (sleeping bags) and cooking stove would highly recommend thankyou Carrie

I placed 2 click and collect orders. 1 was cancelled the next day apparently because the address was wrong! How can Go Outdoors own shop address be wrong? I was told to do the order again and the next day the same thing happened again and the order was cancelled! I was told that it was out of stock and then when queried that I could still place an order was tild that it was actually in stock and that it was a technical problem and someone would get back to me by Friday 7/8. I am still waiting! Put in a complaint but no response to that either. When collecting the other order I was told that I could travel to York/Scunthorpe from Hull to see if they had them! Absolutely ridiculous.

Matthew was lovely and helped my boyfriend buy all the stuff I wanted, he went through it all professionally and they had a good laugh, he enjoyed my purchases so much and his assistance he even became a member

Very helpful staff very knowledgeable always happy to help and a good price with your discount card.

Adam was super friendly and had lots of knowledge as well as good tips on how to get the shoe I wanted.
Had some good chats about scout camps and whether the shoes I chose would be suitable for some of the dangerous activities we do!
