Used Golden Tours Bus to go to Warner Bros Harry Potter Studio London. It was a waste of money. It took WAY too long to get to the location and cost tons. It would be cheaper (and faster) to Uber back and forth. The worst bit is that they only allow you 3.5 hrs in the Studio -- which isn't nearly enough time to see everything. So disappointing.

Pauly was our guide and Kulwinder rode the bus. Amazing service and great experience. It was a day filled with fun and laughter 😊

Zozo (guide) and Oola (driver) were incredible. Zozo was funny, knowledgeable , organized and efficient - getting us to sites early and providing mindblowing chronological city tours. Oola provided excellent driving and was and was patient and helpful at the sites as well. Thank you!

Easy to book with concession. Great to experience London Tower Bridge from the glass floor. Watching the bascules opening to let boats pass was very exciting especially with the sound of the children's excitement. We also watched it from the river bank on its return journey. Great view from both aspects.Loved the Bella trail too and the activities available for children.

Tell you more about our experience:

We, two of us, joined a guided coach tour to Stonehenge, Windsor Castle and Oxford. The coach left the meeting point around 8:10am, about 10 minutes behind the scheduled departure time.

Upon arrival at Stonehenge coach car park, we were guided to toilets then to the visitor centre for free shuttle to Stonehenge. We were told to return the coach at 11:20am, to catch the coach departing at 11:25am.

Unfortunately, we were only dropped off at the visitor centre at 11:20am returning from Stonehenge as there was a long queue waiting for the shuttle back. We rushed to the car park for the coach. Regrettably, we went to the private car park as we were not familiar to the place during our first visit there. We had not been given any advice, guidance or directions for the way from visitor centre back to the coach car park when the guide dismissed the party at the tolilets upon arrival. Even it’s only 2 minutes walk from toilets to the car park for coach, the tour guide Amenda hasn’t reminded us that there is 2 car parks in Stonehenge.


When we realized we were in the wrong location, we hurried to find the coach parking area. By the time we arrived, we saw the coach pulling away—it was approximately 11:27 am. We immediately ran after it and shouted for the driver to stop. As I had taken a photo earlier, I recognized the coach by its license plate number. However, the driver did not respond. I believe this was because the tour guide, Amanda, had instructed the driver to ignore us and proceed without stopping.


We called the emergency hotline immediately and were only able to speak to someone at 11:53am.


Hopelessly, we were advised during the conversation with the hotline staffs from Golden Tour:

- You were late. Meeting time was *** 11:25am ***. Coach was scheduled to leave at *** 11:30am ***. (different from what the guide told us)

- The guide had reached out to you (fact: we were not contacted by anyone)

- The coach will not be coming back.

- You need to make your own arrangement/transport for rest of the day

- You can call Uber.

- We do not have information of any transport company for you.



As we had left some personal belongings on the tour bus and had already paid for admission to Christ Church College in Oxford (entrance ticket fess are not included in the tour!), we needed to return and rejoin the tour. As this was my first visit to the UK and I was unfamiliar with the area, I sought assistance from the Stonehenge Visitor Centre. They helped arrange a taxi through a local company, allowing us to rejoin the tour in Oxford. This resulted in an additional expense of GBP 170 for the taxi fare. Due to the irresponsibility of the ground operator, Golden Tours, and the tour guide, Amanda, we lost the opportunity to visit Windsor Castle and were forced to bear this unexpected cost. Furthermore, my friend and I endured an extremely stressful two-hour experience, as we received absolutely no assistance from both Golden Tours and Trip.com customer service.

It is difficult to imagine how we could have left Stonehenge and returned to London if we had not been able to speak English. This concern is particularly significant, as we had originally booked a Chinese-speaking guided tour, yet Golden Tours informed us via WhatsApp just one day in advance that such a guide would not be available. Furthermore, what would have happened if we had not had access to a smartphone, internet connection, sufficient cash, or a contactless credit card?

Absolutely unacceptable !! Would you choose a tour company not considering your safety as their priority ?? I would have chosen a zero star for our experience with Golden Tours if there was an option (but, the system in TrustPilot is not allowed). We were shocked that our group tour drove off without us !!

I booked a half day tour w Golden Tours to Stonehenge. The driver was very professional and drove safely and the lunch was descent (I paid ex for). The seats, USC ports were broken and the backed up toilet was a nightmare. All of which I’d like to forget. Stonehenge was great!

Overall: reliable but basic service. Reliable, mainly thanks to a good booking experience. Basic, when it comes to transportation: the bus drive was uncomfortable mainly due to the brisk driving style. Screens on board did not function properly. I would use this service in the future, but with low expectations.

Lucky to even get 1 star . Booked for my wife and her friend had to reschedule to the be told my date had past because it wasn’t clear I had to pay 8.86 p to reschedule date so 3 days before the actual reschedule date I’m told no date has past !!! 110 pounds wasted in these amateur clowns. They couldn’t even reschedule again after I offered to pay the 8.86 so when I asked for a refund they said I could another tour with 50 percent off . Yeah good one so 1 would cost me 160 pounds . Absolutely robbery of a company

Well organised with great guide and driver (Pauli and Mario). Very helpful and knowledgeable.
A very good "taster" tour to see the places/attractions so you can decide whether to revisit at your leisure.

Absolutely disgraceful service and a complete lack of organization.

We had a return bus scheduled from the Harry Potter Studios at 2:15 PM. We finished our visit earlier than expected, so I called multiple times to ask whether it would be possible to take an earlier departure. I was repeatedly told to go to the meeting point and speak with the staff there.

After waiting around 20 minutes, a bus arrived and one of your employees explicitly told me that I could take that bus and that it would be leaving in approximately 10 minutes. Based on that information, I quickly went back into the studios to collect my girlfriend. When we returned just 7 minutes later, the bus had already left.

As a result of your staff’s misleading information and poor coordination, we were left stranded in the rain for over 30 minutes and ultimately had to pay for an Uber out of our own pocket.

This was an unacceptable experience. Your communication was inaccurate, your organization was chaotic, and your customer service fell far below any reasonable standard. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

Very non acurate timetable, very late at the begining of the trip, You get earplugs to watch the movie but there are screens and now places to plug them in.
However the Harry Potter studio tour was great. I would not recommend to take this trip

‘Jim the Ripper’ who was our tour guide for the Jack the Ripper walking tour in London was AMAZING! He was so knowledgeable, friendly and the way he recited Jack the Ripper’s letters and postcard was so impressive. The three of us had a really great time, really worth the money :)

Apolonia was such a sweet guide. The tour was exciting, interesting and fun. I wished we had more time at Windsor Castle, though. It was great

The Golden Bus sightseeing tour was excellent, but what made the experience truly special was our live tour guide, Emma. She is a wonderful person—professional, experienced, and incredibly knowledgeable. Emma our guide explained lots of interesting facts and made our tour fun. She made it incredibly interactive and humorous; top notch stuff.

Great tour with Elvin and Anna!

We did the London Royal walking tour and the Jack the Ripper walking tour with Jim. He was amazing, very animated well informed, clear and gave everyone the time to ask questions without feeling that you were wasting his or anyone time. The gentlemen (that was not part of the tour but the actual an operator) that gave the commentary on the water tour was funny and informative. With how much we really enjoyed those outing the hop on hop off was VERY disappointing. Buses were not every 15/30 minutes, driver often forgot the flip switch for the commentary large parts of the city went without description.

Took the Tea Bus Tour in London. 90 degrees in London and their air conditioning was broken - and no open windows. Passengers were getting sick from the stifling heat and several requested to get off. My group got off and requested a refund. Golden Tours London refused any refund. Do NOT take this awful tour
