Never had a problem with Global, only used maintenance twice and the engineers were alway professional and efficient.
We don’t really have much contact... the occasional phone call. Any inspections we’ve had the visitor has always been pleasant and respectful

Firstly I 100% think there is some fake reviews here of 100% great!. I wouldn’t be surprised if the company
them selves were posting their reviews from different emails address. So BEWARE! I have been with global for over 5 years now. In different property’s. You 90% of the time have to fix the issues of the house yourself as they can take months to get round to fix anything or even worst don’t do it at all. They are terrible at picking up their phones/ don’t pick up their phones. They don’t really mind if there isn’t enough space for everyone to live in. Its shocking the condition they allow people to live in. Prices are quit high too , but if your looking to save its slightly better then the normal rental market. Some places arnt livable but they will still let the place out. No windows , mold , water of floors etc. It’s certainly a money making Buissness with little concern with the people on it or quality control. One place I lived in the shower wasn’t fixed for weeks and another friend in another property for months! They should start focusing on the quality of the service they bring rather then then pushing on trust polit to get more people for money . Living in guardians I believe is a much better company. The only reason this company get away with it is because there’s a housing demand. But it shouldn’t be a reason to abuse it.

Definetively good to save some money.
The timing to solve any issue in the property though can be very long, even if it's an emergency. We've been here for 2 years and a half and we had a few problems during all this time as the flats are usually quite old. We had a gas leak for example and it took days even to get an answer from the customer service, same with other minor problems (all of these before the pandemic).
Another annoying thing is when they get inside your property to do some checks (they do it even if you're not in as they have the keys) and unfortunately this happened during the pandemic too.

It comes as a surprise that you have not received the high-standard of customer service that we hold ourselves accountable to. We care for our Guardians and always want to help where needed, especially in emergencies.
Though the pandemic, our service times have been delayed meaning we were only carrying out works on high priority tickets, limiting the visits to the properties in order to help stop the spread of COVID-19. As you live as a licensee we do hold the right to enter your living space to inspect it and to carry out necessary repair works at any time. This is detailed within the license agreement that you signed. Guardian safety is at the heart of what we do, meaning that, during essential property checks, our staff and contractors are required to adhere to strict health and safety measures, wearing full personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure assessments are carried out in the safest way possible. Being a Guardianship service, our staff are allowed to enter the property themselves at any time but will always knock first.
As always, we are making continuous improvements to our service and your feedback will be taken on board and is hugely appreciated.

I would definitely recommend global due to its affordability…
I would definitely recommend global guardian, if you are trying to save for a house deposit or for something else in general. Just choose wisely because the single occupancy flats are cheap (still) but excluding bills which can be alot for your income.
The maintenance teams do respond swiftly, if you describe the problem clearly and include pictures which help them alot.
The only thing, I found annoying was the unannounced inspection that regularly happens. But I guess they acting in the best interests of the owners.

Ever tried to liaise with a garbage fire? Do yourself a kindness and avoid!
I find it hard to believe all these people had positive experiences. I was also told that I could only view one property due to Covid and trying to arrange viewing seemed futile given the responses. replies took longer than the quoted turnaround time. still I was patient and hoped this would not be the case were I to move in. After lots of reassurance by the agent (poor guy was given a very run down looking place to sell). Having rented from global guardians for half a year now I can confirm that on initial viewing the property was filthy, had a horrible draft coming from a broken window which had a bin liner covering it and made the whole property cold throughout the winter and trying to get someone to come and rectify that or any other problems has been a massive hassle and stress to the point of getting run down. clearly they have no concise communication with each other or their tenants. Go on Global, tell me this isn't the case and that this was a rare occurrence and you are sorry blah...blah. I've had plenty of lip service and empty words already

Better choose carefully and dont hold your breath for a reply
I went to view one property and made them aware that I was needed to move as soon as to avoid another months rent. Was not made aware that I would only be able to view one property until afterwards. I continued to ask questions about other guardianships and I would get no reply AT ALL until I had heard back from my contact. 10 days go by and the first correspondence I have is to tell me that it is gone and in another message I am accused of spamming them with messages to get a quicker reply(again, I was never told I could not ask questions about other properties to help with my search). Total waste of my time. I understand corona with regards to the reply times but to say I can essentially only enquire and view one property every 10+ days(15 if you include the initial enquiry) and hear nothing in the mean time gives me zero faith that I would be taken seriously when renting through you. Such a shame

In regards to property viewings, potential guardians are able to view multiple properties as it's important that they are happy with the living space.

I became a guardian last year and…
I became a guardian last year and couldn't be more pleased. They helped settle in the property and whenever we need some help with the flat the answer we're almost immediately. I highly recommend. Plus it's cheaper than the average places in London.
