Rewarding experience

Rewarding experience, great for beginners. My seeds started sprouting after a few weeks, which is exciting and satisfying. I also appreciate the fact that when emailed customer services to find out which type of seeds are included, they responded to let me know it's a combination of Betula pendula, Betula pubescens, Pinus thunbergii, Alnus glutinosa.

Top Shelf Customer Service

Nina Hammerton provided us with outstanding customer service when helping us to register gifts that my wife and I received from our son. Not only was this done for us, it was done in less than 24 hours after I had sent an email asking for assistance. This level of customer service is seldom seen these days. I received a Kitchen Disco Timer as a fun gift. Unfortunately, it was faulty and I contacted customer support. They responded right away and I received a replacement timer. It was such a nice surprise to deal with real people that care! Made my day!

Packaging is poor

I liked the look of the products and bought a few to use as stocking fillers this Christmas. The items arrived very loosely packaged in a padded jiffy bag that was falling apart and giving minimal protection to the contents which had clearly been rattling around in the packaging during transit. The items look a bit scuffed as a result but will have to be given as presents anyway. I would look at Gift Republic again for gifts but their poor packaging lets them down and would probably put me off another purchase.
Edited to add thank you to Gift Republic customer service for responding to my review. I appreciate that they read my comments about packaging and hopefully this will be improved from their warehouse end. I will keep their products in mind for future gifts.

So I purchased one of the Adopt a Big…

So I purchased one of the Adopt a Big Cat Tins in late Summer of 2023 at a local Barnes and Noble, not realizing these certificates have expiration dates. I didn’t open it right away, instead reading the books I got first. But I ended up with a housing emergency very soon after and had to quickly pack up everything I had accumulated over 10 years into boxes and totes and have it all out within 5 days due to a gas leak and a black mold issue. Unpacking boxes of books in August 2025, I found the unopened tin for the Big cats and tried to register it but the code was expired. I was aggravated and disappointed at the situation and the money down the drain. So I contacted Gift republics Customer Service and explained what happened in a very short version email. One of their reps, Nina, sent me a response overnight, with a new code that was valid for 2 years. I was insanely floored how accommodating their customer service was and how kind in their ongoing communication efforts. I registered the product immediately after doing investigation on the cats and their immediate conservation needs. I wish more than 10% went towards their care, but I believe this is still a great product and gift and plan to get another as well as donate directly to ptes. Wonderful experience! The product was okay but late

I ordered a couple of products from their website, and the delivery was supposed to take less than two weeks, which was ideal since it was for a birthday gift. However, it ended up taking more than a month, causing me to miss the birthday. While the products were satisfactory, I believe that a gift shop should prioritize timely delivery.

Their products are crap and their customer service is worse

I bought one of their scratch-off posters on eBay. The stuff that was supposed to scratch off didn't, it just ripped the paper. I arranged an ebay return and then had the 'bright idea' of speaking to gift republic rather than the eBay shop I got it from. Nina Hammerton from customer services was very apologetic, said that they could (or would) not refund me but would replace the item with a good one which was all I wanted. I then cancelled the eBay return. Then I got an email saying that they were not able to replace it and all they were offering me was another of their products that I didn’t want. I was unable to reinstate the eBay return because i had gone outside of eBay which they don’t like so Ms Hammerton had left me totally in the lurch. Fortunately the eBay shop did refund me but I am still colossally unimpressed with gift republic and stand by my statement that their products are crap and their customer service is just as bad if not worse.

Completely False advertising and a Scam. never got to track my big cat or got any confirmation of adoption

I got one of those Adopt A Big Cat Tin's for Christmas back in 2023, I followed the instructions for the Process but wasn't given any instructions on how to see the big cat that I Metaphorically adopted, all I got was a stupid certificate, that was supposed to arrive a month or 2 later. It is now 2025 as of writing this and I still haven't received a certificate or any updates to the supposed adoption of. the thing was just over 30 bucks and I didn't even get to see the lion I Adopted or any confirmation.
don't support these guys, I've been had and misled by the advertising and by the whole product don't fall for the same trap.
if anyone can sue these people on my behalf, I would heavily appreciate it as i don't have the means or resources of using them myself.

Nina is a Rock Star!!!!

Gratefulness is an understatement to describe my experience with Gift Republic!! Twelve years ago, I purchased a Laird title to Dunans Castle in Scotland for my husband. We are going to Scotland this Summer and were excited to see his "plot" of land. Sadly, he had misplaced his Identification card/membership to the location of the plot. I knew it was a small chance of success, but I reached out to Gift Republic asking for a possible record they may have for him. To my amazement, Nina from Gift Republic responded promptly with the required documents of his plot ownership!!! We were beyond thrilled!!!! Now when we visit Scotland in the next few weeks, he will be able to locate his plot!! Hooray!!!! What an awesome company!! Thank you again Nina!!!!! :)

Truly excellent customer services.
Nina Hammerton, who works in Customer Services is worth her weight in gold to this company. My grandson was given a Boogie Bath Duck as a birthday present but unfortunately it was faulty. Nina explained that the duck was out of stock until September but did not just leave it there. She found a member of staff who had an unopened boxed duck and was willing to give this to us. Unfortunately I don’t know the name of this member of staff but they also deserve a huge amount of thanks. I only hope that the company know how amazing Nina and the other member of staff are. I have never experienced such incredible customer service or willingness to go further than ‘the extra mile’! Thank you very much Nina

I had a generally positive experience…

I had a generally positive experience with Gift Republic! Their customer service is excellent—responsive and really go the extra mile to help, as evidenced by Nina and the team assisting with several issues, from lost items to replacement requests. The DIY pottery kit and Name a Rose experiences stand out as great products with strong aftersales support. However, the Name a Star product could use clearer documentation, as the instructions felt lacking regarding further information. Overall, great service with some room for improvement on certain items. Would definitely recommend them!
