My order was delivered the next day, very efficient and pleased with my GHD wide plate hair straighteners

Great service and the product I just can’t work out how to use them

Inadequate customer service. I bought a curling tong 16/07/26 as it is my 30th birthday at the end of the month and I wanted to practice curling my new short length hair before my birthday. The curlers arrived the next day but they were chipped. I sent a photo and asked for an exchange and I've had nothing but issues since:
1. The automatic email reply says right at the end that you have to reply to the email to get a customer service agent to reply to you which I hadn't noticed until the monday after I sent my email- this is really strange practice.
2. GHD sent a free 48hour tracked return sticker- the product arrived back with them 24/07/26 but when I asked when I might hear back as I really want the curlers before my birthday I was told that they have up to 14 days to acknowledge the return, this is before my exchange would then be processed.

This is not the customer service I would expect for the price of the product, when I've shopped elsewhere normally photos and proof of return would be enough to start the exchange process, 14 days is absolutely ridiculous.

I cannot comment on the product itself as I haven't had an opportunity to actually try the product yet.

My styler broke on 7th July, and despite returning it promptly, I am still waiting for my refund. I have now been left without a styler for almost three weeks, despite explaining that I use one every day for work and work in a customer-facing role. The lack of urgency or care shown throughout this process has been extremely disappointing.
What makes this even worse is that this is the second premium GHD styler I've purchased that has developed a fault within six months. For a company that markets itself as the leader in premium hair styling, I expected products that lasted far longer than this.
Instead of acknowledging that I'd experienced two faulty products, GHD actually described my refund as a "gesture of goodwill." I found that incredibly insulting. Refunding a customer for a faulty product isn't a favour—it's the right thing to do.
To add to the frustration, GHD have dragged the refund process out to the very end of the timeframe they quoted. It feels like they have no concern whatsoever for the inconvenience caused to customers. If you ever need a refund, don't expect a prompt resolution. In my experience, you'll be left waiting while they take as long as they possibly can.
For a company charging premium prices, both the product quality and customer service have been far below what I'd expect. Based on my experience, I would never recommend buying from GHD. There are plenty of alternative brands that offer styling tools at much lower prices, and after having two premium stylers fail within six months, I honestly don't see how GHD justifies its reputation or its prices.
This has been one of the most disappointing customer service experiences I've had. I paid for a premium product and expected premium quality and support. Instead, I've had two faulty stylers, weeks without the product I rely on, and I'm still waiting for my refund.

Very assistant customer service

As always, my experience with GHD is beyond amazing. The GHD Speed Ionic Hair Dryer is phenomenal, it's really fast-drying. I have mid-length thick hair, so it used to take me forever to dry my hair. Now, it's effortless and so fast! Delivery service was on time and had no problems at all. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
