Please dont buy

Please dont buy. They told me it works everywhere & I bought one which as no signal at all in my area so I asked for a refund and for me to return it. I was told no and there still going to take 6 monthly fees from my account which im stopping but going to trading standards as they said they cant refund once ive opened the box. Told them how else am I going to see how good signal it. Wont buy anything off these again customer service is appalling.

Horrible experience from purchase to…

Horrible experience from purchase to trying it out on vacation to trying to return it. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!

Their "return" policy isn't a real policy at all, if you open it and try it out, then it is "non-returnable." How do you know if it will work if you don't try it out?

Oh, but they offer a 20% refund discount and a warranty on the device itself.

The device worked a bit on the trip but it is based in Germany, so my IT company shut down all my access because the site showed I came from Germany. What a waste of time and money.

The device is well presented

The device is well presented. The instructions are very poor but when you look for web based help it is available. The service the device is great as long as it stays connected. It can be hard to establish once disconnected without resetting and you do not get resetting instructions.

RYOKO poor after sales service

I bought this item with a view of gaining internet access whilst on the move in my campervan.

Despite several tweaks of settings (with limited or zero assistance from support)etc it unfortunately fails on doing what it says on the tin.

I approached Ryoko directly with the issue and they keep referring me to their returns policy, that to accept a return/refund the item needs to be unopened! How do you find out something doesn't work, unless it's opened and tested? It's a nonsense, so will be seeking action to recover my money via Master Card.

Very disappointed at how Ryoko can get away with setting such a ridiculous returns policy.

Further to the above, which was responded to very quickly by Ryoko having stated that they would deal with the issue promptly and with a satisfactory outcome favouring my claim.
I've now been waiting over a week and no further forward with this problem, despite their assurances of, "...they are investigating my claim...".

This has turned out to be a completely unprofessional debacle, which is clearly displaying Ryoko's desire to retain my money in the hope that I will just 'go away'. Well if that's the case...I'm not, so standby!!!
