We were recommended to use furrows and speak to chris jenks on the desk.
We took our car in for a over heating problem. Chris advised we needed a new head gasket. The work was carried out quick and efficiently and was very reasonable price for a main dealer. Chris kept me update from start to finish and was very professional. Thankyou

Chris was exceptional at organising our first full service for our Ford Ranger, keeping us informed throughout and rearranging our appointment at our request with ease. He even accommodated a Saturday last minute for us as the vehicle was away all week. Would highly recommend.

Don't go there if just going for parts.
i went to reception where i was passed on to another lady, who passed me on to another lady, who just ignored me. I was told the parts man was on the phone, he wasn't i could see him. When he eventually arrived .
He Didn't have the part i needed it would have to be ordered. i explained i had phoned twice once in the morning and once the next day but was unable to get any reply from the parts department. And now i had come 20 mile.

Took my car in for a repair on the front, now taking to to another garge to make sure its safe! Rang to complain, but they tried to blame me for it. The front panel, fitted fine before they touched it. It now doesn't fit. Would advise to take your car elsewhere. Rude and unhelpful staff to go with it.

We have just purchased a used Skoda from Furrows in Oswestry and am very pleased to say that it was a pleasant and trouble free experience. On our first visit Alan Fildes suggested that we make an appointment to discuss our requirements fully with him. This we did and he gave us his attention for a complete afternoon. We had a number of test drives and finally chose a car. We had 2 cars to trade in and agreeing a price was done in an extremely friendly and jovial manner. Alan arranged for certain extras to be added some free some charged.
One week later our car was delivered to our door and our old cars removed. Our car was spotless and fully serviced with a guarantee.
Alan could not have been more helpful with a friendly attitude and a sense of humour. We can only hope that any follow up work if necessary is done with such a pleasant and helpful manner.
Many thanks to Alan.

I never thought I’d do this but, if you’re reading this I advise you to avoid Furrows in Shrewsbury. An MOT, 4 new tyres, a window rubber needing replacement and two new key fob batteries. Dropped car in 0800 Thursday and awaited call to pick up that afternoon... Finally collected car on Friday at 1705 with only 2 new tyres, the same dodgy window rubber untouched and no MOT certificate because due to their incomprehensible strategy of having all their collections at closing time I was looked after by a poor guy dealing with 3 customers while 3 ‘managers’ stood and chatted, watched him struggle on for a bit.. then sloped off through line of waiting customers for the weekend.
(Bless him though, for twigging on that the key fobs hadn’t had new batteries as he sorted that in the 20 mins it took me to get there).
Like another reviewer here I agree that it seems their monopoly across the region has sadly left them unconcerned about their image.

Received recall notice for my Ford Ranger, contacted Furrows on a number of occasions who put me through to the relevant department, but never any answer on their phone. Had to contact Ford HQ (who were excellent) to intervene. Eventually gained an appointment, and when I collected the vehicle after the recall was carried out, they had scratched and marked the dashboard fascia.
I had my Mazda 3 repaired recently at the Furrows of Oswestry.
Excellent repair of the panel, bumper, and lights- looks like a new car!
the car was given back clean and shiny. Phil, the manager also took trouble to sort my car's key fob batteries- absolutely delighted with the level of customer care and repairs!!

Excellent customer service from David, nothing is ever too much. I got my first car from furrows in 2017, a little Ford Fiesta. I had that car for just over a year then David got in touch about looking at new cars and then I got my Ford Ecosport. David is a great Salesman my mum and dad have a car through Furrows Telford as does my sister, I highly recommend them.
After 2 previously failed attempts to fix my car, I was reluctant to take it back there. However as there is no other Kia dealer near by I was left with little choice. After waiting over three weeks to get an appointment, I dropped my vehicle off and was told I would get a call later that day. Well after waiting and waiting no call came. I have tried countless times to contact them for an update but no one in service will answer the phone or reply to an email. After two weeks of trying to get hold of someone I eventually got through. Only to be told after waiting three weeks for an appointment, and a further two weeks of them having my car, that they are too busy to look at it. It has now been over a month they have had my car, and still they have not attempted to contact me once. I'm genuinely surprised this place is still in business, and dread to think how much longer will they have my car, will they have fixed it this time, will I ever get a phone call or answer when i call them.
My next car purchase is definitely going to be based on making sure Furrows is not my nearest service department.

My Local garage discovered an oil leak from the casing joint on my transfer gearbox on my two year old Skoda yeti I Took it to main Skoda dealer FURROWS OF OSWESTRY Where I had purchased vehicle as the car still had 12 months of manufacturers warranty left to run, expecting leak to be rectified.
NOW TWO YEARS Later!!!
gearbox not touched Only photographed And videoed numerous times While mechanics confirm that the gearbox casing joint is the problem
even taking COVID into account I believe I have been unfairly treated given excuses continuity Told to expect phone calls from dealer which never arrive told it’s Skoda factory’s or Skoda uk of the computers are down and so on !!!! it’s so sad I love the car but how I have been treated,
is not how a Skoda main dealer should be allowed to operate.
Skoda customer services Although polite and understanding Are totally powerless to effect the repair if the main dealer chooses to evade and not honour their and Skoda’s responsibility To there customers
It takes a bit for me to complain as you can see it’s been 2 years going through all the right channels.
I am now getting worried and concerned that lack of oil may cause gearbox to seize i hope no one gets hurt if this happens say on motorway doing 70mph
I wonder if that would bring it to Skoda’s attention. Who knows I wouldn’t count on it.
