Mike was knowledgeable, patient and had a welcoming, not "pushy" manner that made all the difference in choosing a three piece suite. He was flexible on price and was most helpful in every regard. Delivery has not yet happened so I may return with a further review!

Fantastic customer service from Furniture Village Birstall! Thanks in particular to Mike, who went above and beyond to sort out a tricky delivery issue - large sofa, narrow doorway!! It might have taken two attempts, but Mike’s work behind the scenes, liaising with G Plan and myself, made sure that the problem could be resolved and I now have my new sofas. Thank you!

Fab service helpful not pushy

The price fluctuations in store are a bad idea, we returned 3x and got 3 different prices including different from website. Sale was made but I would not recommend for this reason

Lovely experience Mike the sales person was very knowledgeable and gave great advice. No pressure sales we went in just to browse ended up buying a sofa and some dining chairs.

Richard was fantastic, talked us through our options. Gave us time to look around and answered any questions we had. Made us feel at ease buying our sofa. Could not recommend Richard enough!

Very Disappointing Experience – Poor Product Quality and Customer Service

I purchased an oak dining table from Furniture Village in Leeds, and unfortunately, I am extremely disappointed with both the product and the customer service I received.

The table that was delivered to me is noticeably different from what I was shown in the showroom. The table I received has visible cracks and dark marks in the wood that significantly affect its overall appearance and do not reflect the quality or appearance of the table I was shown before making my purchase.

I raised my concerns with Furniture Village, expecting them to properly investigate the issue and provide a reasonable solution. Instead, I was simply told that this is natural wood and that nothing could be done.

There was no meaningful investigation, no proper attempt to understand my concerns, and no willingness to consider a replacement or alternative solution.

I paid the full price for this product and expected it to be of an acceptable standard and reasonably consistent with what I was shown before making my purchase. Simply dismissing a customer’s concerns by saying “it’s natural wood” is not, in my opinion, an acceptable level of customer service.

For such a large and established company, I find the way my complaint was handled extremely disappointing. The lack of support and unwillingness to properly address the issue have left me very dissatisfied.

Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would be very reluctant to purchase from Furniture Village again.

I emailed them via their contact form twice pre-sale as i wanted to try (and probably buy) one of the best and most expensive chairs they had on offer, asking if they had one in stock i could try, and heard NADA from them. If they cant be bothered answering you pre-sale then what will they be like post-sale?. I ended up buying a stressless chair from HSL, who are a proper company that appreciate your business. avoid these clowns
