We were greeted on arrival and offered coffee/tea, asked if there was anything in particular we were looking for and shown to where the sofa's were, the assistant was very informative & polite, he was not pushy at all which is a massive bonus.
The store was clean & bright
I purchased a chesterfield sofa & chair & can't wait for them to arrive

We bought the Cinema Sofa almost two years ago and have nothing but problems with it since. The control panel stopped working and was replaced. This then activated the massage function on one side where the whole sofa plays a loud vibrating sound and cannot be switched on at the plug. Another "technician" came to fix this and couldn't. Since January 2026 I have not had a response to contact forms or emails to the "Aftercare" team and have been unable to get through on the phonelines, unless I want to spend 8 hours waiting in a queue.
One of the technicians that attended reported that fixing these sofas were a "nightmare" as there are so many wires - and these people are not electricians, and not paid enough to work it out.

Just save your money (£3000) and get a basic sofa.

James Bailey was brilliant, gave us the space to search and helped us with options. No pushy salesman rubbish. The overall feel at furniture village was lovely. Got our new furniture sorted within record time for us and exactly as we wanted it :)

Bought goods.... phoned day after day leaving mesages to find out delivery after I had been told delivery would happen....but NO one could be bothered to phone us back.

Jenny deserves 5 stars as she ended up helping us going above and beyond.

It was our very first visit to store and we made our choice within few minutes and thanks to Mr James Bailey, who is such a wonderful person. And a really good advisor that we made our choice in such a short time.

I had researched on line the furniture we were interested in and we were greeted by Paula who took us to the pieces straight away Paula was very helpful and made our shopping experience very pleasant. Our journey through ordering everything for our lounge sofas lights and tables and pictures was stress free thank you Paula Baldwin. Every item will be delivered in our required time line.

Our first shopping experience at Furniture Village was with Jack, who was incredibly thorough and patient while explaining all the sofa options and fabrics. During our second visit to purchase a dining table, Steve provided exceptional service, offering detailed information and making us feel very welcome. We ultimately finalized our dining table order with Jack as well, and once again, his assistance was outstanding.

Good all round service would definitely recommend furniture village.
