Furniture good quality but gave us the wrong bits without telling us and only offered a refund after we pointed it out as what we actually ordered we out of stock

It came with absolutely no instructions

The delivery was prompt. However when it arrived the corner of one of the boxes had clearly been badly damaged in transit, with tattered box and visibly damaged leg of a chair. Customer service was immediate, efficient and incredibly helpful. I had a wedding I needed the furniture for and they arranged for a new box to be delivered within four days, and the old one was collected a few days after that. We love the furniture and it looks great. Only downside is it doesn’t connect to each other, but we’re adding Velcro tags to overcome that and keep the flexibility.

Fast delivery and good product.

Good value for money. Hardware handles were a bit flimsy for my taste and just replaced with brass knobs and silky tassels that elevate the whole wardrobe. Very happy with the product, easy assembly and support with rescheduling delivery. I strongly recommend.

Very disappointing experience. The full payment was deducted from my account, but the sofa was never delivered. Despite contacting the company several times, I have received no response or update regarding my order. The lack of communication and customer service is completely unacceptable. Customers should not have to chase a company after paying for an order. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

Fast delivery

Do not use this company. My item was never sent, and when I requested a refund, the only response I received was that they would “chase it up.” After that, I heard nothing despite repeated attempts to get an update. I have now had to start a chargeback through my bank to recover my money. Based on my experience, I would avoid this company.

Good quality product at a very good price. Delivery was quick and on time with easy options to organise it.

Easy to order and swift delivery but not very good quality rattan.

Ordered a rattan bistro set in grey for my mums birthday. Arrived, the rattan had dried mud all over it, some screws were also rusted, as though the item had been kept outside. Cheap plastic flimsy set, not worth the price.
Reported to customer services.

My order was returned to Furniture Maxi because DPD failed to send me the required delivery PIN. This was completely outside of my control.

When I contacted Furniture Maxi, they made no attempt to help resolve the issue. Instead, I was simply told that the item was being returned to their warehouse and that they were unable to resend it to me. By the time the refund was processed, the item was out of stock, leaving me unable to reorder it.

What disappointed me most was the complete lack of ownership or empathy. There was no acknowledgement that the failed delivery was not my fault, no offer to resend the item once it had been returned, and no attempt to source a replacement.

To make matters worse, there is no way to speak to a real person. Every enquiry is dealt with by AI-generated responses, making it impossible to have a genuine conversation or get the issue properly resolved. It felt as though no one was willing to take responsibility or offer a practical solution.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend Furniture Maxi. If anything goes wrong with your order, don’t expect the level of customer service you would hope for.

UPDATE: I reached out to Furniture Maxi as they suggested in response to my review. Unfortunately, it was another complete waste of time, and I’m still yet to speak to an actual human being. Is this company run entirely by robots?! 🙄

The customer service is beyond frustrating. I’ve tried to resolve this directly, but I seem to be going round in circles with AI-generated responses and no one willing to take ownership of the issue.

At this point, I give up.

Very polite delivery table and chairs where very well packaged over the moon with it good quality ,made a top for the table top firepit ,kept informed of delivery and time ,very good price would use this company again no hesitation......
