It's a landlord I found a problematic

It's a landlord I found a problematic. I can't log on what I want to change my email address and I couldn't update anything. I just couldn't simply couldn't log on. I couldn't do any account validation or verification or changes every time I try to log on as a landlord to try to shove me into the tenant category and start a whole new Tennant process unfortunately, I deleted most of the messages I got they were forwarded to me and I couldn't logon to access them afterwards, which I thought would be very easy to do so I spent way more money for this service and they deserve. It's a poorly run. Manage administered AI Chatbot mess, vigorous hand gestures to these people. I hate them. I despise them. It's a giant poke in the eye, the way they treat people. I think a simple craigslist ad is better.

They come up with all sorts of excuses…

They come up with all sorts of excuses not to post negative reviews against the property because they will lose clients. So many terrible landlords on this platform. I encourage attorneys to look into the practice of this website and see if there is an option for a class action lawsuit.

Scam

As a landlord there is very little traffic on the site. They charged me $199 for a renewal, I know I didn't select. No one to talk to. No number to call. Stay away!

DON'T USE Furnished Finder

DON'T USE Furnished Finder. I'm a landlord looking for a tenant. There are not enough leads for the price paid and several leads were a scam. I reported them but received no help. I also asked about canceling the service since I was only getting scam leads but received a generic response saying they don't refund for any reason even if you are dissatisfied. Look for tenants elsewhere!

Complete Rip off/ terrible customer service

As a landlord, I wanted to see how my listing appeared to a prospective tenant. I entered the town, dates (which I knew were available in my calendar), and did not specify any other filters. The search results produced DID NOT include my property listing; at the end of the 'available properties' was a message to the effect that no other properties were available in the location/time period noted. This was the start of several email and phone calls with FF. Lots of excuses, none of which appeared to be legitimate. They finally said (third or fourth call?) that people don't want to see 'too many listings'. What? How do they decide which listing to show? Why the deceptive message about no other properties were available? They claimed I could "zoom in or out on the map" and that would bring up more listings. Zooming out did not, zooming in reduced the number of listings, but all were on the original list and did not include mine. Why would any landlord want to pay for a platform that arbitrarily excludes their listing when a prospective tenant does a search?

Furnished Finders Customer Service is 0/10

Furnished Finders Customer Service was horrible. They are just host the platform. thats it. Our landlord was a NIGHTMARE. She told us she lived 3 hrs away and we would have the two rooms we rented to ourselves. But she would show up unannounced and stay for DAYS and invite her friends over for day parties then complain about the power and water bill being high. Our lease also said the utilities were included, yet she tried to charge us for excessive use. We were both working and mainly there to sleep.

Michelle Cardona.
If there was ever a reason to stay with Furnished Finder, it’s her.
She listened to my issue. She understood it. She repeated it back to me so I knew we were aligned. Then she went and solved it. Calm, concise, no noise, no confusion. Just handled it.
She let me ask questions. She actually listened to the answers. And then she delivered exactly what I needed.
You should listen to that call. Seriously. That’s what great customer service sounds like. She was brilliant. 100% brilliant.
I ran a national mortgage call center for 20 years. Customer service was everything. I used to find my best people by calling other companies, and when I found someone great, I hired them away.
You’re lucky I’m not in that business anymore.
Because Michelle would already be working for me.

Refused to refund renewal <24 hour of charge

I contacted Furnished finder the day an auto renewal was charged. I asked for a refund as we no longer manage the property and they refused to refund the charge.
Now I had to call the credit card company to have the charge disputed. This is absolutely ridiculous. The charge was not authorized and no courtesy email was provided.
This company is going down hill extremely fast. There is no reason this company will last when companies like Zillow do not charge to advertise furnished.
< 14 hours of the charge and they refuse to refund it. Disgraceful.
They even deleted the property but failed to issue the refund.
Come on furnished finder
Do better.

Furnish Finder is an absolute scam

Furnish Finder is an absolute scam. Not only did they fail to generate a single client, but they also went ahead and charged me $199 for an automatic renewal I had explicitly canceled months in advance.
I contacted them ahead of time to make sure my subscription would not renew, and I was clearly assured that it wouldn’t. While they refused to issue a partial refund for the prior year—which I accepted in good faith—they still turned around and charged me again anyway.
To make matters worse, I reached out the same day the charge hit my account, reminding them of their prior assurance and requesting an immediate refund. They still refused.
This is not just bad customer service—it is dishonest, predatory behavior. They say one thing to keep you calm, then do the exact opposite and keep your money.
I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and I strongly urge others to think twice before doing business with this company.

THEY ARE AWFUL!!!

THEY ARE AWFUL!!!! THEY DO NOT VET THE PROSPECTIVE TENNANTS! We were with them for a YEAR and got not ONE tennant. The one tennant we thought we had turned out to be a FRAUD and almost stole $1,500 from us. FF tried to get us to sign for another year and I told them it should be free, we didn't make one cent. Marsha took $20 off and I refused.
Also, we receieved emails at least five times a month for FRAUD!!!! BECAUSE THE DO NOT VET!!!!! DO NOT PARTNER WITH THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL BE SORRY!

Not worth it

Was basically sold on fictitious rent amount for my area. I was told I can get about 50% more than what it's actually rented for through the platform. Barely got any viable leads for the year I was on the platform (but plenty of garbage or irrelevant ones). Quick analysis shows I would have been better off renting long-term after the cost difference of only $200-300, and the amount of vacancy I had. Add the additional time in screening more tenants and responding to inquiries, I probably end up losing a bit of money.

To make matters worse, they are denying refund when I never signed up for auto-renewal, nor did I agree to a price increase.

Furnish Finders is the absolute worst

Furnish Finders is the absolute worst. I don’t think there are any regulations for posting a property and some landlords are weird. The first issue I ran into, I wanted to rent a property for a month in Lake Worth Florida. The landlord messaged me back stating he only rents to one person at a time! The next two didn’t bother to respond after a week. The next person stated the dates were incorrect, however she was not going to change them. So, I reported her and she changed the dates. The dates were for three months later. The last person dated for a mont and two weeks would be $5000.00 he added ridiculous fees, such as tourist fees, and HOA fees, and application fees. This is not the platform
for me. They are inconsistent, dishonest, and there’s no regulations for posting property. Just be careful.

Furnished Finder doesn't protect the…

Furnished Finder doesn't protect the renter, either. I sent out a lot of requests for housing and nobody ever replied. Plus, the owners say the property is "available" when in fact, it is not. Scammers!!! I would encourage all of the owners who are being auto-charged to contest the charge with their bank and get the charge reversed. It's illegal to auto charge without informed consent. Good luck!

Giving them one star is kind

Giving them one star is kind. Per many of the reviews, this service sucked and I got no tenant leads which leads me to question if this business is even real. Beyond that, they auto renewed me and claimed they sent an email to give me a heads up but I am unable to find that email in my inbox, junk or trash. Stay away.

Avoid at all Costs

I've had my property listed on Furnished Finder for a year and was automatically charged for renewal without receiving any advance notice. The company claims they sent a reminder email on February 10th, but it never arrived in my inbox, spam, or any other folder. Despite contacting them within 24 hours of the charge to request cancellation and a refund, they refused — citing a no-refund clause in their Terms and Conditions.

What they don't tell you: California's Automatic Renewal Law (Bus. & Prof. Code § 17602) requires that renewal notices actually be received by the consumer, not just sent. A company claiming "we sent it" without proof of delivery does not satisfy that legal standard.

Their support team was polite but completely inflexible, ultimately telling me their decision was "final" and there was no further escalation available. They offered to put my listing "on hold" as an alternative — which doesn't help when you're being charged for a service you never agreed to renew.
My property is in a prime location next to a major hospital — exactly the kind of listing that drives value for their platform. They chose to lose a long-term customer over a refund they were legally obligated to provide.

If you're a California property owner considering this platform, read the fine print carefully, set a calendar reminder to manually cancel before your renewal date, and document everything.
