Good website

In my opinion, it's an open community where you can find very much.
For everybody complaining, you know that there is an NSFW and an SFW mode, right?

The de-facto standard website for furry art and related content

The de-facto standard website for furry art and related content. Not much else to say, its a good page in terms of presentation and functionality and is welcoming towards new members. Contains NSFW, but has settings to filter 'adult' content, if you so desire (but you don't, admit it).

My only real (but fairly minor) complaint is that you can only view your or other's followers in batches of 200 at a time, which just isn't appropriate anymore in an age where people potentially have tens of thousands of followers.

Edit: Downgraded to 4 stars since the owner decided to ban artworks pertaining to a certain kink. That's not what I want to see for an ostensibly free (as in freedom) and inclusive art space. (25.07.23)

Not much free speech on the site

I was apart of this site and community for more than 10 years. There are a lot of people with many views. However, if you share your opinion on worldly matters or give any sense of information to things, with their newest ridiculous 2.8 CoC in conduct they can ban you and deem you a "unfit person for their commmunity" because you shared some information that they deem "misinformation" and so on. The owners are beyond hypocritical and have entered the realm of judge and dictators and where they coddle to childish individuals. They have entered the realm of twitter and facebook by censoring or straight up banning people with no given reason. They do not treat their customers with respect what so ever...unless you are popular. I could go on. But I would avoid Furaffinity unless you want to be cherry picked and dictated because they may or others may not like you. Freedom of speech exists less there as time has gone on. For at any moment you could be deemed "unfit for the community" which means they discriminate, as this was done to me and I still have not been given an explination as to why I was banned.

Badly run, possibly illegal and extremely ethically suspect

The reviews so far here appear to be written by other disgruntled furries who dislike the website because it moderates them. The true extent of the website is much scarier. Users regularly openly admit to being zoophiles (people who sexually assault animals) on their profile pages. On the forums, moderation is almost non existent and became a hotbed of radical politics and white supremacy before politics were banned entirely. Conversations about highly explicit topics regularly occur, with minors discussing these things with the adults present. Whether or not that’s actually illegal, I’m not sure because I’m not a lawyer, but it’s definitely possible in its jaw-dropping extent. The bottom line is that this website is not minor friendly at all and should frankly be banned for its atrocious attempt at separating adults from minors on an obviously adult oriented website (read: copious quantities of ethically suspect drawn porn).

Good for furries but could be better

Love the art but the community can be so hostile with artists snapping at/blocking you for the most minor of things.

Interface is good but could be better for example it'd be nice if you could put your favorites into folders.

That's all I can say for now.

They're definitely playing with fire.

I used to be with this site. I had for a few years posted on it, but then in 2020, a new update to their policy made me bail on them.

To put it lightly, their new policy bars the submission of historical imagery, which I see as censorship. Plus I know that there are plenty of people out there who only have purity of intentions for things like keeping the public up-to-date with history (which isn't always pretty) who will be punished for posting on this site.

Another thing is that they hate free speech. Not even a callout is safe from these tyrants, even if your callout is peaceful. They will delete it, citing "harassment."

I can tell you now, if they keep this up, they will without a doubt crash and burn.

Friends of mine used the site

Friends of mine used the site, and have had issue of people stealing their work, and trying to B.S. who it was legal to due. one of which who was told "Its the internet, gotta expect it a few times" by "unkown1832_11a0" who has nothing but stolen works. They try to reach Admins of the sites but they seem to not-existent on the site. How can I trust a site the won't help/hear out artists that work hard to make these artworks, only for people to steal it. Other then some good works from time to time, not worth it if they can't protect the users

Very Strict Website the only thing I got from this website

FurAffinity is very strict website over the rules and laws. I believe someone killed themselves on the website due to Bullies, A-holes, Jerks. FurAffinity did nothing about it. As well believe pictures of what happens to you in video games is not user-content. Say a great deal of artistic and literary freedom. it's a freaking lie.

As someone about Nexus-mods. Strict people are running a good site. It's the same ideas with FurAffinity.
