Jenalyn Masalunga has managed our property for quite a few years. She does an excellent job when marketing & advertising our property, keeps us updated, and has always found good tenants.

Purely profit-driven with zero business ethics. Overseas students, stay away!

Before we signed the tenancy agreement, Foxtons repeatedly pressured us to make a quick decision, claiming the property would soon be taken. One of the prospective tenants was still in China without a UK visa, yet Foxtons continued to push for the tenancy agreement to be signed quickly.

Once Foxtons secured their commission, the manager handling our case departed, but no one informed us. We only discovered this after the other tenant stopped paying rent and we urgently needed agency assistance.

The other tenant later claimed her visa was rejected, that she remained in China, and that Foxtons had also pressured her to sign. Under the joint tenancy agreement, the financial burden fell entirely on us. Instead of helping resolve the issue with the missing tenant, a Foxtons employee simply advised the landlord to legally pursue us for payment using joint liability clauses. We were ultimately left stranded, forced to cover nearly six months’ rent—almost £10,000—out of our own pockets on that tenant's behalf.

When we instructed a solicitor and requested the tenant’s contact details to pursue the matter, Foxtons refused, citing privacy policies, and told us to contact her directly ourselves. For an agency that arranged the tenancy, this lack of support felt completely unreasonable.

Later, when a pest infestation occurred, Foxtons offered no meaningful advice or support, stating it was the landlord’s responsibility and leaving us to handle it. When we requested the landlord’s address to pursue compensation for the thousands of pounds in damages caused by the infestation, Foxtons again refused, citing privacy. They only released the address after we sought legal advice and formally challenged their refusal.
Ultimately, the landlord withheld our deposit and kept our overpaid rent. Despite knowing a dispute existed, Foxtons refused to facilitate a resolution, stating they could do nothing and leaving us to deal with it alone.
This was by far the worst and most regretful decision we have made. In our experience, Foxtons was extremely proactive when securing the tenancy and collecting fees, but repeatedly washed their hands of us the moment serious issues arose.
I strongly advise everyone—especially international students who may lack local support—to think twice before using Foxtons. In my opinion, their support drops off completely the moment the lease is signed. They may reply here saying they will investigate, but after emailing their COO directly with zero response and wasting three months trying to get help, I have lost all confidence in their service.

This is the worst Experience I ever had with any renting company. Foxtons, Canary Wharf you are the Biggest Liars I have ever faced. First you say everything is good and nice and then you say we are not responsible for it speak with Landlord. What do you mean by that. First I got my Keys on the 3rd day from when I was supposed to move in made me pay extra charges for the moving team to reschedule.
Staff Miss.Nathlyn Baptiste, is the one who made me push to get the property saying everything is good and working.

This is the list of things which are broken and not working (The Hob and Oven , Fridge, toilet Exhaust, Tiles broken in toilet and in kitchen, No hot water and no professional cleaning was done when I moved in) just came to know lots of complaints to counsel about this flat, no one stayed here for more than 2 months, all because landlord is not making any repairs.

That's a great Job thank you Foxtons making my life like a Hell and thanks to Miss.Nathlyn Baptiste for making us go through all this suffering.
If you know all about this problem Foxtons please dont make other people suffer.

The Shoreditch Office is my face to face support operation, a 10 minute walk from my home in Spitalfields. I love this personal interaction with the team headed up by Jenalyn, always welcoming and super efficient in helping me manage my small letting business operate smoothly in every way. Helping to manage the smooth departure of tenants who are moving, getting properties re-let to suitable new tenants, advising on any problems with a tenancy. I’m gratefully helped with the suitable landlord 5year licensing applications, as well as the documentation for annual & MTD quarterly tax returns.
There are some very long standing colleagues in the Shoreditch office, so sometimes I just drop by when passing to say “hello”, have a chat, check out the beautiful flower arrangement on the front desk and I’m always offered bottled water or a cup of tea.

I have been constantly reached out to through phone, even though I requested multiple times to not do that. I also asked for all my files to be deleted and was contacted again months afterwards.

Do not ever share your details with this company, or they will chase you down forever.

I was very impressed by the professionalism of the agent, Habiba, she greeted us on time, showed us the property at its best, was extremely kind and really patient,she actually waited, outside her working hours, for my daughter and her boyfriend to join us and gave them the opportunity to view the property since it was meant for them

Yasmin from west end was extremely helpful in our search for a flat and made the process so easily and was incredibly attentive and kind.
