Baggage Robbery

What would have been a 5* review was ruined as I was boarding my return flight. I take the same carry on bag with me on every holiday and never had any issues yet, Pegasus charged me £45 for it. I had no extra bags etc. just this one rucksack like bag. I wasn’t the only person on the flight who had their bags confiscated at the gate and was charged. I read before about the baggage robbery but wrongly assumed I’d be okay as it’s come with me every trip and was never an issue as it fits in the metal airport baggage checker

Honestly, not a bad word to say about Pegasus until this happened and it’s not fair at all. I don’t remember seeing any weight restrictions and it’s not like the bag was extremely bulky so it was taking up extra room, it was packed just as neatly as when I flew out so because a few heavier items were squeezed amongst my clothes, I should be charged? I will make sure I don’t fly with them in future

The worst airline there is!!!

The worst airline there is - do not even bother as they will always find any reason to cancel your flight last minute. Pay extra and save yourself unnecessary stress.
I woke up very early in the morning to get ready for the airport just to see the message from PEGASUS saying: Dear guest, 05.04.2026 PC1164 London Stansted - Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen flight has been postponed cancelled due to as a result of our planes not being able to flight operations due to heavy fog at Istanbul in the morning. Click for free open ticket, ticket change or refund
…I had to book another new flight immediately through TRABBER app praying it will all go smoothly although it’s another low cost air line.

The flying disaster

If chaos had a frequent flyer programme, Pegasus Airlines would be its most loyal customer.

The real ordeal begins at the airport, where you’re sent from one desk to another in a sort of joyless administrative obstacle course. Each counter dispatches you elsewhere with absolute confidence and absolutely no outcome. By the time you finally reach the correct place — assuming such a place exists — you’ve spent so long queueing you begin to question your life choices.

The check-in process was so interminable it felt less like preparing for a flight and more like developing a stress-induced stomach ulcer.

No one takes responsibility, no one knows anything, and everyone seems perfectly content to waste your time.

Frankly, walking would be more efficient.

If there is star for the most terrible…

If there is star for the most terrible service I’d give it. They extent they were cost cutting was that I asked for a glass of water for my two year toddler and the staff asked money for it. Basic norms of humanity is lost. Any short distance flying budget airlines would have a small snack and a drink. Put aside the snack imagine asking money for a small glass of water. Disgusting

Bad experience

Bad experience . Dropped in another airport with nowhere to get info apart from chat bot. The refund you get is ridiculous. Missing customer services.

Cancelled Flight / No Refund

My flight got cancelled and I never got a refund. I tried multiple times to get in touch, they kept giving me their AI assistant which did nothing.

Avoid at all costs.

The website is not user-friendly at…

The website is not user-friendly at all. I tried to change my flight and the site was giving me options for the day when I tried to re-book it and not the day when I was flying so the wrong date got booked and there is no customer service number to support. My entire Istanbul trip had to be cancelled because I lost my return flight basically. Do not use this airline!

I am genuinely shocked by how poor the…

I am genuinely shocked by how poor the service was. I have never experienced anything like this before.

From the very beginning, there was complete confusion. Every staff member gave different information, and no one seemed to know what they were doing. We were sent from one counter to another, wasting hours due to incorrect instructions.

What made the situation even worse was the way we were treated. The staff showed zero empathy, even though we were traveling with a baby. Instead of helping us, some employees were rude, dismissive, and spoke to us in a very condescending tone from the start.

At one point, we were even laughed at and treated in a degrading manner. When we tried to stand up for ourselves and explain the situation, we were no longer helped at all. It felt like the staff simply did not want to hear the truth or take responsibility.

Because of their mistakes and lack of support, we were forced to book a new flight ourselves. This was completely unnecessary and could have been avoided if we had been properly assisted.

It honestly felt like the staff believed they could behave however they wanted without consequences.
Dilara at Sabiha Istanbul airpoirt, watch all out for her. She will do anything to make you mad.

This has been the worst service experience I have ever had, and it caused us a great deal of stress and frustration.

I sincerely hope this is taken seriously, because no passenger deserves to be treated this way.

Worst airline I've ever dealt with

Worst airline I've ever dealt with. My return flight from vacation was delayed by over 20 hours. No support at the airport. The chat assistance is ridiculous – it's a joke, they don't respond coherently, they don't help. In the post-mortem, I requested a statement explaining the flight delay, and the company insists it was due to weather conditions, but that's false, since it was the only airline with a delayed flight at the airport on the day of departure. They are complete scammers.

Rudest staff in the world

I travel alot take about 30 flights a year (today first time with Pegasus) and I never have any complaints ever I’m very easy pleased customer, but the service I received with Pegasus is the worst service I have ever received anywhere in my life the staff on the desk in Dublin airport one man in particular I wish I got his name but I was too anxious to ask he was absolutely horrible so rude I’ve never experienced anything like it, it has now made me even more anxious to travel and I will definitely never ever fly with them again.

Worst of them all… 2 days delay

Worst of them all… 2 days delay. Their Istanbul airport is most garbage organization I have ever seen in my life. After canceling flight and notifying us 1 hour before the flight… to get another ticket you have to wait 2 hours in biggest line I have seen… then had to stay in another line for another 3 hours to get hotel. Stuff is careless, management is shit. Don’t take this airline even if your life depends on it.

hot garbage

this is so bad it took way to long to set off and they kept on spinning in circles for 2 hours straight i would rather read a book for 2 hours rather then spin in circles for 2 hours
not to mention i got so much motion sickness
never come or touch this flight

They are thieves!

I dont want to give any stars ..infact i wish could give it a minus 5 star review Super uncomfortable and insecure airlines.We have proof that the crew stole our money which is thousands of pounds ..and pegasus played all the delayed tactics available for months without any compensation ir checking their security system or even calling us .
It needs to be shut down!!!!!!!!
