Baby Blue Spruce trees arrived in September and were very nice. Received advice on how to protect during winter months and they were going great this spring. In June one tree is dying. Called Fast Growing Trees for replacement (website and chat indicates very plainly there is a 1 year replacement of non-thriving trees). Representative told me I only had a 60 days replacement because I did not check the box upon checkout for year warranty for $. My bad apparently - didn't see it? too bad. Plus the rep let it slip that they just changed their policy which means, mine was probably automatically covered.
My advice is "read carefully", and save your receipt as they especially highlight the full year replacement but do not broadcast their "60 day policy". They are much more expensive (cost, warranty, shipping) than other online nurseries that plainly list a 60 day replacement and offer free shipping without a purchase limit.

Based on my experience with Fast Growing Trees, I wouldn’t order from them again nor recommend them to anyone looking for healthy plants.
I ordered 5 trees back in May. One was from Fast Growing Trees, and the other 4 were from other online tree stores (Conifer Kingdom, Mr. Maple, etc.); all were approximately the same size. I planted all of the trees to the specifications recommended on their respective websites on the day I received them. It’s been about a month now, and all of the trees that I did not receive from Fast Growing Trees have adjusted well and are growing and flourishing, whereas the one tree that I ordered from Fast Growing Trees is pretty much fully dead. All of its leaves browned and dropped within the first 2 weeks of planting.
I’d highly recommend that anyone looking to buy trees online not order from Fast Growing Trees and consider other retailers instead. Even stopping by your local Home Depot or Lowe’s garden center would probably be better. I personally will be sticking to the websites that delivered me trees that are healthy.

Ordered a flowering plum tree in May. Tree did not look too good. Had very few leaves on the tree and did not have a root ball, just loose dirt wrapped in burlap. Waited a month to see if its condition would improve. It did not. Contacted customer service and they wanted a long list of questions answered, such as how much sunlight, how much water, what type of soil, pictures, (I sent pics in May) etc. I assume they were trying to dissuade you from pursuing a replacement. They just lost a customer. Was it worth it for them to lose a customer?

My plant arrived dead, I took pictures and shared with customer service while it was still inside the shipping box. Customer service said I had to have it planted anyway. I paid the landscape company to plant it and it never grew. Fast growing trees will not stand behind the warranty and replace it. Total loss of money.
Update, replacement plant was eventually sent , unfortunately just as dead as the first one, been watering daily to try and bring back but its just dead sticks. Plants shipping from Arizona to Florida don't survive, especially when the box is 5 times the size of the plant causes a hot box for it to cook in. Totally lost my money on this one. But they did make an effort to replace it to no avail.

We ordered a limelight hydrangea tree last spring, so this will be the 2nd spring we've had it. We have been very pleased with all of our trees and bushes we've received from Fast Growing Trees!

Very misleading regarding the size and quality of the product. I would strongly suggest avoiding them.

Every ordered tree, plant and shrub arrived carefully packaged and in great condition. I did a COMPLETE landscaping renovation in the last 4 months and most everything came from FGT. Any questions or returns were welcomed and accommodated promptly. I would highly recommend FGT and I’m so very happy I found them! Great prices as well .. I also took advantage of many sales!

Fast Growing Trees operates on a very slippery slope. How they advertise is very sketchy. They display pictures of larger and developed trees but deliver saplings and little plants…..then claiming that the customer didn’t read the advertisement fully. Fact is there is no clear explanation of the difference between the pictures and what will be delivered. Then, what is delivered isn’t properly packed or handled and the product is damaged. Just be aware that you will get product that is a small fraction of the size you see in the ads. After much insisting I did receive a full refund.

Fast growing trees sent a knock out rose tree that I received as a gift a month too early for my zone.
I tried to keep the plant going through multiple freezes but it was too early for the plant. It is currently completely defoliated and looking horrible.
I am a very experienced gardener. When companies offer guarantees I expect them to be honored.
Fast growing trees refused a replacement and told me to nurse the plant back to health.
Clearly they don’t honor their guarantee even when the condition of the tree is a direct result of THEIR error.
Steer clear of this company. They didn’t provide a quality product and their customer service is horrible.
Don’t waste your time and money shopping this site.

Had a horrible experience as a first time buyer. Quality of both the Hosta and Hydrangea plants I purchased, Hydrangea plants actually had black mold on the leaves. Terrible packaging which resulted in damaged plants. Nonresponsive customer support.

My area experienced a severe weather event that resulted in failure for my newly planted trees.
Fast Growing Trees support team thoroughly evaluated the situation after I reported it. They then honored their warranty and are replacing the trees. I am happy to pay the shipping cost for the replacement.
My compléments to their help for my situation. This was clearly an unfortunate weather event, the trees themselves arrived healthy and in great condition.

All of my plants and tree died. All of my fruit bushes lasted anywhere from 3 months to 6 months before they died. Had a year warranty but thought they would come back the next year like most of my plants do these unfortunately did not. My grafted apple tree also died right where it was grafted did the same thing and waited for spring to see if it would come back. The tree only started growing from the ground and root system and not the parts that were grafted to have 4 separate apple types. DONT DO WHAT I DID AND WAIT! They now said it’s past warranty and I get no replacements. If it starts turning brown or I twig dies call and tell them so you can get your replacement instead of making sure it’s dead. All 3 plants and tree have died and I’m out hundreds of dollars because I didn’t say something sooner!

This is a 4 star review for a 1 star experience. All 4 stars are for the customer support team. They dealt with me courteously and professionally and gave me a complete refund for the poor and damaged products that they sell.
Upon purchase I was given dates that the plants would arrive. They did not show up on that date. Instead they arrived randomly throughout a two month period. Always damaged and often much smaller than what was purchased.
Don't deal with this company. But know if you are foolish enough to do so, that their customer support is A number 1

I’ve ordered three separate times, and it’s my own fault but each time their plants have been a massive disappointment.
Ordered some boxwoods a couple years ago, and they arrived healthy, but much smaller than anticipated. Okay, I’ll live with it.
Last year ordered a 7 gallon red maple to replace one I got at Lowe’s for 75% off due to its poor condition. It didn’t make it, but the other did so I needed a replacement. The 7 gallon red maple I got from Fast Growing Trees was several feet short and about 1/3 the thickness of the 7 gallon ones from Lowe’s…and about $25 more expensive.
This year ordered several 3 gallon bushes from another nursery, but they ran out of stock. Ordered one more 3 gallon from Fast Growing Trees and my God…it’s half the size and looked ill. Within two months it’s dead. They’re sending a replacement, but I gotta pay shipping. The others I planted are thriving.
AVOID Fast Growing Trees!

4 strawberry plants out of 4 wilted the first day and died. Tried to get them replaced with the 3 year guarantee and after fighting a bot for an hour a person came on and started the same battle. I submitted a claim and never got a response. Now they want me to submit another claim.
Update: Called and the Gentleman on the phone was very helpful and processed 3 warranties for me. I have bought 21 plants an or tress from them this year

In April I order a Cocktail Fruit Tree I paid extra for the 5/6 foot tree total cost was almost $300. I got the tree 2 weeks later followed the planting instructions and waited. As of today, the tree is still 100% bear, no leaves, no buds nothing. After contacting customer support several times, they say that because the scratch test shows green in the main trunk it tree is just dormant, even though all the branches have dried out and are brittle. They refuse to acknowledge the tree is DEAD.

This was the first growing season I decided to purchase from Fast Growing Trees, due to the selection of varied plants and bushes, that I am unable to find locally. With so many other great reviews and buyers, I decided to take a chance. I have recently placed my 4th order within the past 3 months, and have been completely satisfied every time with delivery, quality of bushes and plants, and great customer satisfaction. I am absolutely delighted to have found such a wonderful place that has so much to offer!

Received scrawny half dead Thula twigs. 20 of them. When 4 died I tried to get replacements under the guarantee and they wanted a plethora of information and detailed photos of DEAD twigs. Extremely rigid and totally unnecessary process. DO NOT BUY HERE.
