Formula o e Aylesbury

Had my car booked in for Air conditioning top up as it's blowing warm air.
Paid £59.00 and it's still blowing cold air,as they don't test it and just top it up ,which I think is not right and on top of that they lost the dust cover for one of the top up valves and told me to source one myself.

Did not get an invoice,I paid via card.

They should be replacing the part they lost, not me.

So overall my experience wasn't great and I've just wasted my hard earned money.

Incorrect expensive diagnosis

I was recovered to this centre due to a clutch problem where they diagnosed it was a clutch replacement for £1100. I was not confident in this and took it to another garage by recovery. It turned out it was the master cylinder as the problem which was a £350 job instead.
I definitely would not recommend this centre.

Bunch of cowboys- AVOID, THEY WILL CAUSE DAMAGE

A bunch of cowboys over-tightened rear wheel bolts on both sides to such an extent that they are locked solid. Even the use a 3 ft breaker bar is not enough to undo any of them on both rear wheels following a two tyre change from formula1 arranged through ASDA. In using an air ratchet formula 1 also damaged the wheel locking tool. Both sides on the rear have the same issue.

A subsequent visit to get them to fix the issue had the manager say "you did not buy the tyres from us, - it's been a few months and they must have rusted in place...you will have to pay someone to loosen the wheel bolts"

An Interesting observation comes from front tyres. Both were changed by Halfords well before formula 1 getting their hands on the car and despite the tool damage, that Formula1 claim was not them, I was able to remove the wheel bolts using the same breaker bar. Must be a different type of rusting on the front wheels ;-)

What is really strange is wheel locking tool has been in the boot since Formula 1 changed the rear tyres !

Best advice don't use them. They are complete bunch of wasters. I had trouble from them a few years ago when I took a different car for an MOT. The independent garage pointed out that formula1 had put the tyres on the wrong way around with the inside tyre face facing outwards. Cost me a morning of messing about first getting MOT fail then getting tyres put right and then getting the MOT sorted out. I should have learned my lesson. What reminded me of this was they found that incident in their computer and at first denied any knowledge of dealing with the rear tyre change till it was pointed out that the private reg was transferred many years ago to the current car.

Avoid them it's not worth the hassle there are plenty of alternatives a stones throw from them, it's not like they have reasonable prices.

A good price and customer service

A new Goodyear tyre - the same as the others on my car - was not only £15 less than available elsewhere the efficiency and customer service provided by Stephen and Ross was outstanding, which is not often the case these days.

Stephen is amazing

Stephen is amazing. Lovely guy talked me through all my repairs on my car and was very friendly. Gave a reasonable price that didn't make me feel scammed as some garages have some in the past. Everyone here is knowledgeable and friendly. This is now my go to location for any of my issues with my car.

First class service

Steve and the team carried out laser tracking on my vehicle.

They did a fantastic job and all four wheels were out. They explained what the issues were and resolved them.

They were very courteous, polite and carried out the work in a very reasonable time frame.

Highly recommended and would definitely use again.

Contacted branch to book to have my vehicle in as i had a warning light appear for my brakes. Stephen was very polite and efficient and was able to book me in for the next day. On arrival at the branch i waited until they looked at the brakes and was informed that i needed new pads. I left the vehicle with them and then received a call a couple of hours later stating that all the works were complete and i could collect my vehicle. All in all a very smooth transaction
