Zero customer service

Some kind of cowboy outfit who only respond to messages when they feel like it. I've been getting by before and stayed with them as they were cheap, but it was false economy. I have been unable to log into my account to manage my website and email addresses for several weeks now and have had no response to my messages and they do not provide a telephone number anywhere.

Frequent failures - don't bother -

Frequent failures, almost no support. They have now taken my money for renewal of my domain and have failed to renew it. I did not realise until I got a notice from Nominet. Now the email server seems to have failed (again).

Time to move on but that may not be that easy but Nominet have offered to help.

Extendnet are the pits!

I can only agree with the commenters on this thread, Extendnet also trading as Xtreme IT Limited are a company to be avoided at all costs. Don't even consider them. Google their company name with 'complaints' and read the truth about them. I finally managed to get my domain/website moved away from them recently after a great deal of aggravation and was so relieved!

This company (from what I've been able to find out about it, it seems to be a one-person operation run from a couple of servers in a broom cupboard) doesn't care for its customers and doesn't provide any support. There is no contact phone number and every attempt is made to give as little information to customers as possible. They don't want you to get in touch with them for any reason but to give them money. It amazes me that Extendnet is still in business (is it? it's hard to tell...)

Avoid Extendnet like the plague and save yourself a lot ot time and trouble.

Extendnet / Xtreme IT Limited and their appalling service.

Extendnet, trading as Xtreme IT Limited, has been playing the system for years now, at paying customers' expense. They get struck off the Register regularly for failing to provide required accounts, then pop up again months later, reregistered with Companies House, only to do the same thing over and over again.

There is clearly advantage in this for Extendnet, but none for their customers, who suffer with long outages, collapsed email delivery systems and no online support (and I mean NO SUPPORT). Urgent help tickets are left unanswered or are closed by the 'support team' (probably just one person). We all know what kind of companies engage in this kind of Sharp practice...

This situation has been going on for *years*, and it is depressing that customers themselves are unable to do much about it unless they take legal action directly against Extendnet, a course most people won't want to take, or just leave this awful company which, as can be seen by many complaints here and elsewhere on the web regarding failure to transfer domain names, is deliberately made very difficult by Extendnet themselves.

Where is the regulator with teeth that should be dealing with this company?

Dreadful - avoid at all costs

They used to be OK - but that was a few years ago (it's now 2020) - and since they've been taken over a few times they are the worst company I have ever dealt with. I keep having problems which they take ages to resolve (ie two weeks to respond to an email). Even leaving them is a major hassle. Do not waste your time and money.

Truly dreadful, do not use them ever

Truly dreadful. I want to move my domain as the email service won’t work but they won’t reply to me despite raising over 10 tickets. You can’t contact them any other way. Do not use this company, you will regret it. I wish I could have given them negative stars.

If I could give a negative 5 stars

If I could give a negative 5 stars, I would!
Absolute shambles. do not respond to emails, do not respond to help requests by their 'ticket' system, have no direct means of contact.
And as for the service - it is virtually non exixtent.

avoid at all costs......

Dont reply to you at all when you have…

Dont reply to you at all when you have an issue with your mail account - exremely frustrating considering how dangerous it is to have someone in your email to have access to all of your accounts.

Don't touch!!
Echo the other comments about not response to tickets, not renewing the domain even though I paid for it. Currently my domain is suspended 8 days, invoice paid 20 days ago, ticket submitted 7 days ago - no response at all.
Save yourself a lot of hassle and wasted time - go elsewhere.

Xtreme IT (t/a eXtendnet) - Very poor

Very poor. eXtendnet took over from me2uweb some years ago and the quality of service dropped but was still adequate. But when eXtendnet was taken over by "Xtreme IT (t/a eXtendnet)" the level of service dropped significantly further. It has now reached a point where they appear to be ignoring Support Tickets and requests, so it is not even possible to transfer existing Domains out of their control. Some reports say the company is no longer trading, but Companies House still shows Xtreme IT Limited as "Active". To be avoided!

Terrible - don’t give them your money!

Terrible. Support requests are ignored. Didn’t renew my domain even though I paid. Ended up paying vast sums of money to get it back from the registrar when it expired. When I tried to get my money back through PayPal they tried to fiddle the refund. Got there eventually with paypal’s help. The problems are probably because the company which runs extendnet, Xtreme IT is no longer trading according to companies house
