Was waiting on a delivery of a simba mattress bought from John Lewis got a phone call Friday 15.45 to say the van had broken down and it was getting taken back to Crewe. My son and his wife are coming on Sunday and they can’t deliver to Monday. Poor poor service
Absolutely horrendous experience with them. Had ordered a Simba mattress with an old mattress collection included. They came and said mattress could not be removed as they had no room in the van. They gave extensive assurance that they would return the same day to collect after a few jobs. Heard nothing from them, and when we contacted them later that evening, we were told they woould come, then that they would try, and then that they would not at all come that day, all in the same conversation. We were then given confirmation of another collection date the following weekend via phone, but received no email confirmation and in speaking to two customer service agents after, they said there were no notes and no sign of a rescheduled collection!!! And finally said for us to go back to Simba. Absolutely atrocious service with no respect for their customers or their time and no care for the service delivered.

Thanks "EXPERT" booked for oven delivery waited in all day. Shock no sign called up to be told the driver had run out of hours. That's nice. Booked whole day off waiting in. Customer service not even bothered and said it was normal.

If I could rate this company a 0 then I would. A terrible experience after I ordered an oven which lasted 2 weeks and they wanted to drag into a third.
From unfulfilled delivery dates TWICE to zero communications when booking alternative date for delivery without knowing if it was convenient for me and my partner. This is just a snippet of the shoddy service we received. Argos seriously need to find an alternative company for their appliance installations.
The whole ordeal resulted in a 2 page complaint. Am currently awaiting a response.

I had Expert Logistics scheduled to deliver and install a Smeg range cooker and splashback on 15.10. The experience was nothing short of a disaster.
What happened:
The driver arrived at my property and stayed for approximately 2 minutes. He claimed to have "tried the door" and then simply drove away without making any genuine attempt to contact me, ring the doorbell properly, or reach my phone number (which was provided on the delivery details).
Attempting to resolve:
Called the driver's number 3 times immediately after within 5 minutes - no answer
Called Expert Logistics main helpline - waited 10 minutes to get through
Was told the truck had already left and there was nothing they could do
Had to reschedule for the following week with no offer of expedited service or compensation
Why this is unacceptable:
No legitimate delivery attempt was made
Zero communication from the driver
No accountability when I called to resolve the issue
I had specifically taken time off work for this delivery
Complete lack of customer service or problem-solving
This is supposed to be a professional delivery and installation service. Instead, it was the worst delivery experience I've ever had. Expert Logistics showed little professionalism, no accountability, and no regard for customer time.
If you're a retailer considering using Expert Logistics, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. If you're a customer and your retailer uses them, be prepared for potential issues and make sure you have alternative options.
Avoid if possible.

Informed at 7am that delivery would be between 7.30 & 11.30. Driver rings at 720 saying they will be there at 9.30. Had to wake my Mum for her to attend. Then driver rings at 8.45 saying they will be 10 mins. My mum got there. Waited for 2 hours no delivery. Rang driver said he waited 15 mins. They went to the wrong town. Why didn't he ring. Complete incompetence. Good luck if you get these guys!!!!!

Expert Logistics? Interesting. Had a smeg fridge freezer delivered. I paid extra at smeg to have it brought in, installed, levelled and packaging removed and old appliance taken away. I delayed the delivery as I was having new flooring laid and by this time id removed old appliance myself so they didn't have this to do. The 2 young lads struggled to get it in and had to call for advice. Told me they they can't use sack barrow as they're self employed and it can damage people's floors. They called for advice about getting it through living room door and I did suggest they come through the back which they refused. In the kitchen I noticed they damaged my new engineered wood floor. I told the lad it was ok as it was one scratch. He said "phew" he asked me to get someone to help level appliance up later despite me having paid for them to do it. After they left I noticed multiple scratches, gashes, dents and tram lines on my new wood floor. Absolutely gutted. I will need to repair the floor now. I booked installation because I live alone and thought theyd know what theyre doing. I wish id have brought it in myself as there is no way i would have let it damage the floor. Wish id never ordered from smeg. I will be checking when I order my cooker, dishwasher and dryer that it isn't this company delivering. They don't know what they're doing and are inexperienced. I will say that the 2 young lads were polite and respectful though and seemed to want to do a good job

The driver didn’t even bother to knock my door, said delivery failed and within a few minutes was “outside of my postcode area” so had to deliver another day. Waiting for a month to get a replacement sorted and this was the nail in the coffin.
AWFUL service.
Couldn’t install my appliance - not really the drivers’ fault, they were clearly not qualified and didn’t carry any tools or equipment on the van. Also very late in delivering and no communication to warn me of lateness before I had already waited in for 6 hours, even though it must have been clear hours before that they’d be very late.

If I could give 0 views I would ,
I waited in for a cooker they came and and said they need parking on the side of road road next to the house not across street . So I rebooked for a re delivery a week later , we put cones out to save parking enough to fit a coach we waited by window I saw the delivery van .one man got out and started to move the cones so I went out to help him as I went outside he jumped back in the van and drove off I thought maybe his turning round . No. I called the delivery company they said he that he couldn’t park as no space ( he had a little van ) and said the road was busy . Not true at all.
They need to change the drivers as they don’t want to do this job clearly . I’ve cancelled from Argos and ordered somewhere else . DO NOT use this company through Argos you will not get your order.

I had an integrated dishwasher installed a couple of weeks ago and wanted to wait to see if there were any problems with their service.
No leaks, no problems. The team that delivered and installed the dishwasher were friendly, professional and answered my questions easily.
Very pleased with the work and service received.

I ordered an oven from Argos.
Expert logistics were meant to be delivering it.
They called to say they were 40 minutes away.
I then get a call 20 mins later to say they had been and gone and there was no answer at the door.
I was downstairs in the living room right next to the front door. I have a very loud doorbell. Apparently they rang the bell and knocked on. This simply ISNT TRUE.
I was next to the door the whole time!!!!!
Anyway they have said they won’t be returning today.
This company are a nightmare. I spoke with the manager who said he can’t make the driver come back because they’re self employed.
If I had a choice I’d never use this company. I didn’t know Argos used them as a delivery company
I have since phoned Argos and informed them and it’ll be re delivered by a different company.

Terrible Customer Service – Avoid Elek Direct and Expert Logistics!
If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Elek Direct and Expert Logistics was frustrating from start to finish.
To begin with, Elek Direct claimed there were no delivery details for two of my orders but somehow had them for the third. Instead of resolving the issue, both Elek Direct and Expert Logistics kept passing me back and forth, wasting my time. The only person who took any real responsibility was Amy from Expert Logistics—she stepped in and sorted things out, as any decent human being would. She was professional and understanding, which is more than I can say for the rest of the staff I dealt with. Eventually, Elek Direct agreed to refund one of my delivery charges upon successful delivery of the goods as compensation for the inconvenience.
The first delivery (a washing machine) arrived without issue, but the second delivery was an absolute nightmare. I received a call from Expert Logistics saying they would be at the location well before the allocated delivery window (11:43 - 15:43). Since no one was there yet, I politely asked for 10 minutes to arrange for someone to be present—still before their official delivery window even started. The driver flat-out refused and told me the office would explain their "procedure."
When I called the office, their response was beyond unacceptable. They rudely told me that if I was expecting a delivery, I should be there all day and that they didn’t even need to call me! So, not only do they fail to stick to their own delivery slots, but they also expect customers to wait around indefinitely? The driver was rude, unreasonable, and obnoxious, and the office staff were dismissive and unhelpful.
The complete lack of communication, professionalism, and basic customer service from both Elek Direct and Expert Logistics is shocking. I will never order from Elek Direct again, and I strongly advise others to avoid them unless you want to deal with unnecessary stress and frustration.
Save yourself the hassle—go elsewhere.
We ordered a dishwasher for delivery and insulation. They arrived on 28 March, but couldn't work out how to remove the old dishwasher. The delivery was re booked for 7 March, but this time they couldn't find the house. The house dates to the 1980's and has a big number on the front. We asked on the day if they could deliver as we we in, but apparently that was impossible.

Had a range cooker delivered to a 3rd floor tenement flat, with not the most forgiving stairs. The guys gave me a ring 45 minutes before and were bang on time.
No fuss and great job, really appreciated it!

Crew called to say theyd be with me 1330, knew i had a meeting at 1400 so paid for someone to be at my house but then they ended up coming early but said they couldnt take the mattress because the van was too crammed... which is was. So I'd paid someone unnecessarily on two fronts!
Rebooked for today but tracking link doesnt work and no answer. Totally shoddy company. AVOID!!
Update - the pick up was re-booked for today but the driver only gave me 2 mins notice... this despite the fact their tracking info doesnt work. By the time I'd driven from work 12 mins later they'd gone! I dont actually think the driver wanted to pick up the mattress and tbh i dont necessarily blame him, i blame the courier service for overworking and underpaying the drivers.
AVOID IF YOU CAN

Today the expert logistics driver dropped a fridge freezer into my car damaging it and was unable to provide insurance details. And then whilst he was attempting to turn around in the road outside my house reversed into my garden wall damaging it, failed to stop and give insurance details despite being asked and then sped off. The police have been informed. I am awaiting a call back from expert logistics on how they will fix the damage to my car and front wall
