Genuine scam company

Genuine scam company. Was conned into signing up for a year when I was told I was cancelling my account. Paid unknowingly for 6 months and when I contacted the membership team it was like talking to a brick wall. Everlast Halifax cancelled eventually but then the membership team tried to make me pay £140. Complaint is ongoing.
When there is so much choice in gyms thesedays, why would you pick these scam artists? The gyms are rubbish anyway.

When I cancelled my membership

When I cancelled my membership, all within the contract rules, I was harassed 8 months later and threatened with charges and penalties for cancelling my direct debit. Awful business to deal with and frankly, looking to steal money off of their members.

Everlast Gym in Derby is good value for…

Everlast Gym in Derby is good value for money. I mainly use the pool and do spin classes. The pool and changing rooms are kept clean. Showers have hot water. Staff are very polite and helpful. I struggle with technology; they helped me download ap'. For £30 a month you can't fault it. Read car park sign carefully. There is a 2 hour limit, but this is extended to 4 hours when you enter your reg into the machine near reception. That is usually plenty of time.

Tunstall - everlast gym

I used the gym in tunstall, staff are friendly and nice, its nice to staff laughing and enjoying their job, the gym equipment was very good although some kept breaking down, my daughter signed up but has since tried to give her 1 months notice as described but was told that if she cancels she would still be charged for the 12 months they said also that they can only cancel if we moving house then she would need provide proof, if also its medical she needs provide proof of this, i was fuming its a gym why should we still hve to pay for the months after cancelling when we are not using the gym, its wrong and why should we provide out personal medical evidence or moving house evidence we were also told that if she moves to place where she can still travel to the gym she would still have to pay, ill never join this gym again n my daughter is stuck paying the £35 per month till october 26 so so so wrong

I go to the Dunstable Everlasting Gym

I go to the Dunstable Everlasting Gym. When it was DW Gym it was fantastic. Every thing was working. With Everlasting in control the gym is an absolute dive. You may ask why I go to the gym, reason is shear convenience to me. There is no cleaning in progress, changing rooms are disgustingly. See for yourself. Steam room doesn’t work.

Everlast Liverpool

Liverpool Centre: The manager(B) has been one of the most disrespectful and discriminatory people I’ve ever encountered. He should not be working there.( called me Paki)
Update: I just terminated my contract cause of that guy.

3 month membership scam - US bait & switch style tactics

Thieving, unscrupulous scamming shysters … end of.

Truly disappointing that this kind of practice is allowed to thrive in society… why is this bait & swich BS still traveling across the pond and taking hold in the UK.

Wake up to this pathetic business practice now employed by low rent companies like Everlast

Horrible company

Horrible company! I have been trying to cancel my membership for 3 months now! No reply to my emails, being lied on the phone, went 2 times in person and still nothing. According to them my membership is now cancelled awaiting a refund. Two weeks later, no refund. Reporting this to the authorities now.

Everlast (Chiswick) destroyed Roko

I liked Roko Chiswick, but since Everlast took over the place has been getting worse and worse. Sauna was closed for about 3-4 months before they finally repaired it, then new steam room took over 2 months to set up. Now jacuzzi is closed for at least 3 months and they put a note “no idea when it’s coming back”.
They removed a useful squeezing machine for drying your swimming costumes, took away wet cleaning tissues and replaced cleaning team. Previously, in Roko, there’s been wet cleaning of the studio floors daily and daily cleaning of the spa area, including all surfaces in sauna and steam room. Now - forget it :(
Overall it is getting worse. And the services are diminishing. Some classes are taken off the timetable. Many people are leaving or talking about leaving, very sad state of things.

Inevitably closing down soon

Staff friendly enough, but the company clearly falling apart. Was a member at the Epsom club which closed down for being a health hazard, now moved to the Ewell one which has countless broken machines with no signs of them being fixed. This gym won’t be around much longer.

Cancellation experience with Everlast…

Cancellation experience with Everlast Gillingham (ex-Roko). Wanted to cancel early due to a redundancy and relocation. Management hiding behind rules and procedures never even communicated to the customers. Trying to squeeze as much money as they can. Zero compassion, fluffy useless words of apology. Shameless policies aimed at making money.

Disregard on rememberance day

Usually very happy with Everlast gym, however today (rememberance Sunday) there was know mark of respect with any form of silence at 11am. An absolute disgrace from staff, young or otherwise, and management who should have informed those working around that time. Should be ashamed.

What happened to the good manager?

I moved from France for work at the end of last year and Everlast Epsom was the first gym I joined. I came over from the gym that closed to the one in Banstead Road at the beginning of the year, along with my wife.

Initially, the manager who came over from Epsom was very good with both of us and you could see he was actively putting in an effort to improve the place and make our transition good. The older manager before was also okay too, we do not remember names.

He was not there very long and I don't know why but is a shame. Unfortunately, the new manager, the tall, bald one does not seem very approachable and the rest of the team are sometimes okay, sometimes not so it is very inconsistent.

The gym is also very busy and people do not put their weight away which makes it difficult to train.
