I’ve had a very positive experience working with Euro Weekly News as a regular columnist. Communication has been clear and professional, deadlines are well managed, and the editorial team is supportive and respectful of content and voice.

It’s been a pleasure collaborating with a publication that values consistency, quality, and its readership. I’m happy to continue this partnership and contribute to their platform.

Site tries to keep you and doesn’t let you close it out. You don’t have a choice to reject its cookies. On top of that it has clickbait misleading and rehashed news titles.

Unprofessional, one to avoid.

YUCK. Unprofessional use of questionable job applicant tests to get free articles written — a scam run by an in-your-face 'Out and About' (should be 'Down and out') staffer. Her terribly aggressive phone manner, dogs-dinner accent and writing peppered with jargon, textspeak and errors put me off from the very beginning. Should have followed my initial impressions. *AVOID*!

Hi Mark W.

Thank you for your comments.

The EuroWeekly news has been proudly serving the expat communities in several coastal areas for over 25 years, and are a trusted source of news, information and entertainment for many of our respected readers.

When we recruit new staff we use a strict selection process to ensure that we get the very best individuals to be able to offer the best service and product. For potential writers, this may include a writing test to assess the suitability of the applicant. We do not use our selection tests as material for publication.

With regards to the staff member in question, we take pride in employing people from all nationalities and walks of life. We accept that differences in culture may be misconstrued across different nationalities and apologise if you felt in any way offended.

We encourage anyone who would like to come and work with us to check on our website to see which positions we currently have available.

Best wishes

Disgusting

if it was possible, I would rate this company "zero". They are not trustworthy and publish whatever they like with no evidence whatsoever. Disgusting!
Do you relize you just replied to my review 2 years later? That only confirms your incompetency

When they don't have new ideas for…

When they don't have new ideas for design, the argentinian manager make a job offer to do a design test to all the candidates.

Later when he collects all the noobies designs, he says to all that he will contact with the winner of the test.

Instead of this, he will never call to anybody and you see your design publicated on the next newspaper and still waiting forever...

This is not a fair play

Hi Julio

From our records, we think you are referring to an open day we organised for an internship during which we had a lot of interviewees.

It is standard practice for us to ask for a test design to see what applicants are capable of and we do not use these for publication.

If your design was used in a publication then it would have in error, and if it were the case, we would apologise for the mistake.

Best wishes
