Avoid Avoid Avoid!

We have been using Email Blaster now for 6+ months. As a business owner and previous Marketing Director I have used numerous email softwares throughout the years and I can tell that this is bar far the worse software.

Analytics are basic and the entire platform feels clunky. Building emails is simple but impossible to make them look professional and to a good standard.

Support is poor and their billing system is confusing. Prices are extremely high compared to similar competitors who offer a far superior service and software.

Unfortunately we'll be moving our services to another provider and who can offer a more integrated and professional service!

The client in question had been using the software for 6 months. We were then approached with a request for a financial payout, if we declined he would leave a negative review.

Until he came to us with his financial ultimatum he had corresponded with us with praise for our software and services.

If the client disliked our software & services so much - why had he used it for 6 months plus?

This review is not based on our software. A negative review has been left because we would not be blackmailed and refused to pay a considerable sum to avoid a negative review.

Overall, a very positive experience

Overall my experience with Email Blaster's software is positive. I found the software easy to use and with a clear flow.
It was straightforward to sign up, then import my contact list, create my campaign, and build my email. The only herdule to get over was setting up our domain to allow emails to be sent, but the guys at Email Blaster were there to support us.
Often with this kind of the programs the reports are just a wall of numbers, but Email Blaster's system is more visual and made very simple to get a quick overview, before drilling down deeper.
I also like their Apps feature where you can add on additional systems, all really easy. use
To finish I would just like to say thank you to Email Blaster!

I have worked with EmailBlaster for…

I have worked with EmailBlaster for years now, and know the team well. I have always had great service, and find the platform to be intuitive, reliable, and effective for my email marketing. I have no hesitation in recommending this business.

BEWARE! You're dealing with unempathetic money-grabbing ROBOTS not HUMANS

Very bad experience with this company. It started off well with what seemed like good customer support and reasonable pricing and despite a few issues with their software (such as not being able to manually unsuppress in bulk a previously suppressed list without going through a bunch of emails to their support address and sending attachments etc) the software seemed a bit clunky but did the job.

I intially signed up to their free PAYG plan but then realised very quickly that it was impossible to fully test the software without either buying thousands of credits (which was very expensive) or upgrading to their monthly rolling contract. So I upgraded to their monthly contract on March 4, 2020 and sent out a blast and things worked ok. But then COVID-19 hit and seriously impacted my business, so I emailed them (no online facility available) on March 19, 2020 to cancel the automatic renewal of my plan because I could no longer afford it for the time being. They got back to me and agreed but used a terminology I ignored at the time since I thought it was just a "turn of phrase" but only later realised referred to a "30 day notice period".

I then discovered on April 2, 2020 they had charged me another month. I contacted them and they told me that when I upgraded I had signed a monthly rolling contract and part of the terms and conditions I had agreed to was that I had to give them 30 days notice to cancel the account. This was NOT made clear at the point of purchase and I'm afraid that providing me with a very long "terms and conditions" document that would rival Apple's is just not good enough. They clearly are a wolf in sheep's clothing trying to lure you in for free and then once they have your card details lock you in.

They claim they were up front with their terms but they were not. 99% of companies like this with monthly rolling contracts make it very clear at the point of purchase "outside of a terms agreement" what you are signing up for and had I known I was locked into a minmimum of two months I would not have agreed. Furthermore it's all about legal and moral.

My own business has "terms and conditions" but I always review each customer's request on a case by case basis and often waive the terms in good faith and just make the customer aware of them for future reference. Especially in times like these when we should all be coming together I am hugely disappointed that a company such as this has decided to use the COMPUTER SAYS NO attitude and show no human compassion or use a moral compass. It's times like these that the good companies will stand out and the bad ones will shame themselves by revealing their true colours. It's so sad.
