Purchased an Efergy Elite energy…

Purchased an Efergy Elite energy monitor 3 months ago and am really surprised by my habit changes with my electricity consumption. I am not tech savvy, but this simple display tells me what I need to know immediately if I have left lights on or devices

Efergy Engage hub started working again

I have an Efergy Engage hub. It has been great when the website is working. Early December 2024 I couldn't connect to the hub using the app on iPhone. Saw others had connected to energyhive.com with success. Was able to logon and see all my data, current and previous. Went back to the iPhone Engage app and it is now working.

Efergy Engage support dumped?

Looks like this company has finally given up on the 1 million+ users of their Efergy Engage product by pulling the plug on the website portal and app we used to display the live and historical data from their equipment. Lack of customer service response is well documented here judging by the comments. Anyone thinking of buying their NEW kit should think again.

I had this for years and the product it self is great, the service is terrible. I wish someone would buy the technology and run it properly.

I think the business model is flawed, there is no recurring revenue to run the service.

Their online hub goes down often so you cannot see usage.

Ive reported it over the years and no one has the decency to reply or acknowledge my support ticket. Then the portal comes back online.

we'd already purchased several engage transmitters so we are stuck with it now.

Do NOT buy Efergy!

This company should withdraw from the market. I have used it since its beginning and, as others say, it has been defunct for years now; sad really since it was a good concept.I am looking for an alternative now!

Do not use Efergy products

This used to be so useful and gave great results for monitoring the power and solar in our properties and not its GONE! just turned off so I now have all this montioring equipment as a pile of JUNK.
I would suggest anything to do with Efergy products RUN AWAY and save your money.
What a terrible experience after spending so much and becoming reliant on the information they just turned it off.
I have messaged many times but no reply, do not waste your time they do not respond.

Absolutely appalling

Absolutely appalling, the back-end database regularly fails for days at a time. It used to be good and I used it for around 3 years to monitor and bill for usage in a flat that I rent. It started failing a couple of years ago and those failures have become more frequent and longer. You can now monitor current usage but all of the historical data for the last 5 days appears to have been lost. Thankfully, I installed a certified sub-meter for billing my tenant and I wish that I had never purchased this heap of junk which seems to have next to no support.

Efergy? Lethargy.

Efergy appears to be run by a schoolboy is Spain who is busy on his XBox.
Don’t bother with anything made by this company. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
The monitoring website is down for days, sometimes weeks at a time.
Send an email to Efergy support? Total waste of time. Never ever had so much as a reply.
Did Efergy made a pile of dosh on their early monitor which was white labeled to one of the UK electricity companies, and with the proceeds they bought a villa in Spain and now sit there all day drinking sangria, laughing at us?
Useless.

Product not too bad, support effectively non-existent

The product itself isn't too bad, if a little confusing to set up, but it's the ongoing "support", if you can call it that that makes me give it 1 star, I'd give it 0 if I could.

The web dashboard regularly either stops displaying historical data, sometimes for days on end, and occasionally disappears altogether. Even when it does work, it looks like a job half-finished, and certainly not being actively maintained. There are still links to apps for Android and IOS on the webpage that have long since been deleted. Support queries just get an automatic reply, but no follow up.

In short, terrible, to non-existent, support and a product that looks to be abandoned and being left to die.

Efergy Engage

I've had my engage for 6 years now and when it works it's fine, however cloud based data access is tempremental and when it fails that's it, your product is useless. It wouldn't be so bad if the product were able to have it's own local web interface and stored data locally on an SD card or something, with the option of cloud storage and access. I'm about done with this product, because for several days now my device is just a paper weight because the cloud has taken a dump, and support is non-existent. Just avoid this product it's not worth the hassle and waste of time.

Efery Smart Meter limited lifespan

I first bought one of the Efergy Smart Meters and it worked fine for a while then the App was longer available in the AppStore. I then bought another one which also worked fine for a while then the App disappeared from the AppStore rendering it useless. They seem to have a very limited lifespan requiring you to buy another one every couple of years.

The hub product simply doesn't work

The hub product simply doesn't work. It is not plug and play. The hub is properly connected to network and receiving signal from meter, but it has not been possible to connect to account. This is badly designed software and a badly designed workflow. It doesn't matter how cheap this product is, save your money and purchase other products that work (the bad reviews are accurate, I wished I had listened!)
