I was charged for a book I returned

I was charged for a book I returned, and was met with radio silence from customer service. They sent me an older version of a book that I ordered and then when I returned it, they claimed that I returned the wrong book and charged me for "purchasing" the book. None of their customer service options actually connect you to a real person. If you are looking to rent books from a reputable business with outstanding customer service... go to Chegg or something, it ain't here.

This Company is fraudulent

The book was sent back in October because the class was dropped. I got a confirmation that said I wouldn't be refunded because it was too late and the book was unwrapped. The book was barely touched. Now in December they emailed me that it was due! I had to email them back to tell them it was sent back. Then they emailed me saying I owed money because it was Damaged! The book was in their care from October to December. The book was barely used. Whatever damages happened were in their care.
Beware that they don't teyo to scam you put of money!

I received an email from eCampus…

I received an email from eCampus stating that I had damaged the book. INcorrect...I returned the USED RENTAL Book in the same condition I received it in.
I will NEVER use eCampus again to rent a book.
I just assumed their company would be honest and credit me for the return, not charge me for a book used by others before me. I wonder if they've charged others now with the same excuse. That book was not in good condtion when I received it but used it for a semester to complete a class.
I find it interesting that they will CHARGE me to return it back to me for a $12/fee, but if I don't respond by 12/23/2025, they will recycle it...with what I can only imagine as another rental. Probably the same answer they gave someone else when they sent it to me, in the same damaged condition.

VERY disappointed with this company. Will definitely use AMAZON book rental or someone else in the future, as I have NEVER had any issues with other book rental sources.

Order canceled

I spent a decent amount of time on this site looking for books and was happy to find them. Some days after placing the order, I was notified that 4 of the books were unavailable. I was refunded. I just don't think you should advertise an item if you are not sure you have it in stock. I would have looked elsewhere.

ECampus.com buys back books

ECampus.com buys back books. PAYPAL PAYMENT OPTION DOES NOT APPEAR SECURE NOR WORK- When selling books back, they provide a few options on how to be paid. The PayPal option doesn't allow you to log int and I know the credentials were correct. Alternately you can provide bank routing and account information - there was no https or lock in the url when selecting this option
