Looking at 367 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers expressed significant dissatisfaction with the product quality, citing issues with gameplay, glitches, and unfinished aspects in various games. People frequently encountered problems with the app, including login difficulties, constant crashes, and the inability to access purchased content or play offline. The customer service was widely criticized for being unhelpful, unresponsive, and difficult to reach, often providing scripted answers without resolving issues. Do not use EA under any circumstances…

Do not use EA under any circumstances and if you have it move away from it ASAP. I wish I had done it sooner. The worst company I have ever come across. I lost access to my account and they cannot let me back in. I have gone around in circles because I don't have the required email. Every question they ask needs the email but the operators are replying with a script and cannot help move forward. I have lost over a £1,000 in games and they just don't care. I hope someone takes them to court and I have reported them to trading standards.

Using EA Help to unlock a claimed twitch drop

So I'm using EA Help to try and claim a missing twitch drop for bf6 (1st set of 4 from the beta, 1st drop the 1 hour one i have hours 2,3,4) all future drops have worked, but not the mimic weapon package for some unknown reason. EA Help has spammed me about using a live chat feature that doesn't seem to exist (probably because I'm in Australia) all their email ticket replies are written as if object permanence doesn't exist, they have screenshots of the hour 1 reward not unlocked in game, screenshots of hours 2, 3 &4 that ARE unlocked, they have screenshots of my twitch account connected status, my claimed twitch drops, they've been giving me the run around for a month and i feel like these responses have just looped back round to trying to troubleshoot a problem on their end, i get everything from we've logged a ticket and are awaiting your response to, it's a known issue there's perhaps you should discuss it on the forums (i haven't seen many issues specifically with this drop) and then it's just troubleshooting steps after I've specifically asked them not too ask anymore as they don't work.

Why cant i give them 0 stars

Why cant i give them 0 stars? Annoying thing is they make good games that I want to be able to play, like battlefield 6 and fc26. But the reality is, after you pay for the games, theres constant bugs and glitches that will never get fixed. You have to reload the game around 10-20 per hour of play, if you want to be able to go into a new game or use the store, or you want your new purchases to load, or you want to see the scorebored etc... I'm praying, that as a gamer lover, their new owners find a way to fix every one of there games. Because i'm yet to find one that isn't broken.

Worst customer service ever

The games are not the issue - the outstandingly poor custumer service is. If you ever need to contact them, be prepared for your problem to be ignored and all responsibility for whatever issue you are having, to be pushed over onto you. I have never in my life experienced such poor customer service.

Seems like I’m never able to actually play the Sims four considering there’s always some type of launching issue or some type of gameplay issue. It’s incredibly disappointing spending so much money on a game and all these game packs to not even be able to enjoy the game genuinely one of my biggest waste of money

Poor support, unjust bans, broken games, broken launcher, treating people like property and they always give you feeling you don't matter to them after you gave em money. Worst company of 21st century.

Get rid of the stupid launcher

Get rid of the stupid launcher. Its useless, nobody likes it. The only game I play is The Sims 4 there is no reason it should constantly force me to log in and if internet is out in my area I can't open the launcher at all so their "Offline Mode" is useless other than the fact that I can prevent the game from updating and breaking mods

They went woke and destroyed their games..

I was a big fan of EA or i guess i should say BioWare since that would be more correct, i was a huge fan of dragon age which was in my eyes a rival to the witcher series.

But EA went absolutly nuts when they made dragon age 4 aka veilguard, not only did it have woke options and non binary gender? i think? cant remember the names since its just so out of this world that i couldent care less about that stuff, but fair enough atleast it was an option so i dident have to touch that crazyness.

But they went waaaay to far when they killed the hole dragon age series by making a "RPG" which was not an RPG, the loot system was weird and pointless, you just pick up same gear none stop and they level up, you cant sell equipment or craft it.

They created an action first person shooter type game where you cant controle any other characters then your main one, which is completly diffrent from DAO, DA2, DAI.

They changed characters from past games from bimbo aka bit titted female to having bodies like a 10 year old which was extremly cringy, even more so since the dialogs matched the 10 year old mindset and at many times it was more like a toddler which feels so crazy for a mature rated game.

It has a nudity option, but no one knows why since every romance scene has 0 nudity, outside character creation where you can see your female character topless there are 0 nudity.

But the worst thing and what truely killed EA was due to the choices or lack of them, there was 0 RPG element to dialogs or choices, you are forced to be nice constantly and support and agree with every compantion and character in the world and all companions are forced due to that as well and when you compare that to the past 3 games where you could be mean or even evil to companions you hated and had a optional darker play style which people loved, is one of the two main reason EA lost all their fans.

Next is the choices where you constantly get 3 choices where it comes down to yes, yes or yes....with a small change to words but same result none the less, thats is not roleplay by any meaning of the word.

Also they pretty much ignored the hole dragon age series when making veilguard, so past lore and choices was NOT transfered into veilguard since they dropped using dragon age keep and went on to make they very own canon story which ruins the hole story when half of it goes against choices you yourself has made doing the first 3 games.

Also the writting is awefull and i mean truely awefull, companions saying the same thing like "we need to do this xxxx" then second companion goes "we need to do this xxxx" its like the writters is making games for a 5 year old that constantly needs to be told what to do multiple times and it will drive you crazy.....

I could go on and on about how bad veilguard is but lets leave it at this.

I will say one last thing though, EA being bought out might save EA and save mass effect 5 which would proberly have been yet another woke attempt which would fail just like dragon age 4 but new owners wont be going down that crazy route so theres still hope that EA can get turned around, maybe even get a real dragon age 4 game insted of the fanflick that veilguard was.

EA only want the monthly subscription…

EA only want the monthly subscription fees for EA Play......support do not help sort out issues getting your account back. I would recommend GOG Galaxy over EA 100%!

Do not waste your money on a subscription or paying the ludicrous prices they charge when you can get the games for so much cheaper elsewhere!!

EA Games... Your Money's In Our Bag, Go Suck On a Rag

They make great looking games that play like garbage and have cheaters running rampant despite their invasive anti-cheat software.
They banned me the Steam BF6 forums for questioning a person's intelligence in an argument regarding the cheating, and calling them a doofus.
Their customer service is next to non-existent. Took two days to respond to initial email regarding the ban, and now it's been four more days since replying with requested info and no reply.
It's been nearly 15 years since I purchased a new product from EA, and I should've maintained the boycott. Battlefield 6, like every new release these days, won't be priced right or patched properly for at least a year.

EA is continuing to sell legacy games that do not function through its required EA App

I purchased The Sims Medieval, and the game failed to launch consistently. The error message explicitly stated that the failure was “on EA’s end.”

This was not a user configuration issue. EA requires the EA App as a condition of access, and that launcher is incompatible with this legacy title. Because EA controls and mandates the launcher, the resulting failure is EA’s responsibility—not the consumer’s.

EA issued a refund immediately but did not allow any explanation, documentation, or reporting of the defect, restricting the process to generic refund reasons. This prevents meaningful disclosure of a known compatibility problem and allows EA to quietly continue selling a non-functional product.

Selling software that EA knows cannot reliably run through its required launcher—without clear disclosure at the point of sale—is unacceptable. Refunds do not cure the sale of a product that does not function as advertised.

If EA requires the EA App, EA is responsible for ensuring compatibility or clearly disclosing when a product is not functional. Otherwise, the product should not be offered for sale.
