Poor service delivery

Poor service delivery, I get massages every morning to say my order is out for delivery later on I get another massage to say my delivery couldn't be completed, with no reason this happened 2 executive days what's the matter why I'm not getting my parcel if you guys don't want to work just close the company there a lots of courier companies who are willing to work nweh mahinyela kahle kahle

This is honestly the worst courier…

This is honestly the worst courier service company, how they are still in business is a mystery to me
I have 2 packages that have been constantly updated with a status of we couldn't complete your collection, you phone them and say there is no updates on their end
I was asked to log emails through queries, I did that, do you want to guess what happened, nothing, can I speak to a manager, there is also none of these around as well, today they delivered the package to the wrong client and the driver said he only does deliveries, now the wrong product is at my client because the driver just left it there
Ive been fighting for over 2 weeks for the one package, just to be picked up, it's pathetic
Im done fighting now, I WILL WARN each person, please, please, please don't use this company unless you want high blood pressure and you like to fight for services you paid them for
I will give them - 3 Stars on any platform if I could

Pathetic

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from DPD regarding my delivery.

My parcel arrived at their delivery station on Wednesday night 3 June and was supposedly scheduled for delivery on Friday 5 June by 6:30pm. No delivery was made, and there was absolutely no communication from DPD throughout the day to explain the delay or provide any update.

The only communication I received was at 6am on Saturday stating they were unable to deliver and would attempt delivery again, but no actual delivery date or timeframe was given. After struggling to get assistance, I eventually managed to speak to someone telephonically today. I was then told they would “try” to deliver the parcel tomorrow. I specifically requested written confirmation of this via SMS or email, and they assured me it would be sent — but nothing was ever sent.

What made the experience even worse was the shocking level of customer service. The representatives I spoke to showed no empathy whatsoever and were unable to provide any meaningful assistance because they seemingly knew nothing about the parcel or its status. The staff at the distribution centre repeatedly hung up the phone during calls without offering any help, updates, or even basic professionalism.

At that point, I completely lost confidence in the process and ended up collecting the parcel myself because the communication and service were unreliable from start to finish.

Customers should not have to chase updates, deal with dismissive customer service, or collect parcels themselves after paying for delivery. This was a deeply frustrating and disappointing experience.

I've experienced the worst service with…

I've experienced the worst service with dpd laser, I have been waiting for my parcel since Monday the 1st of June and today is Friday the 5th of June, all I've been getting from them is that they could not deliver because of the address error even though we have updated the address. They have a very poor service because they don't even attempt to call clients to let them know of the changes you will only realize the changes when you track your parcel. I have never experienced such a poor service they are very incompetent.

Poor communication and rude staff

The poorest communication from a delivery service, no "package is out for delivery message", either drivers just call when they are at the gate, which is inconsiderate because we all have things to do other than wait for a delivery. Or they don't call at all and lie to head office saying the address or contact number was incorrect. The phone they use to call can't be called back directly, takes you to switchboard where you find you are number 18 on the waiting list. Drivers and call center staff are all rude, speaking like they are doing you a favor for providing a service. I've never directly sourced DPD services and will never, just a pity Adidas SA use them to deliver and each time its a nightmare to experience. May it close down very soon.

Worse courier company

Worse courier company. Had a return collected, and it went missing! Also had a parcel apparently delivered on the 13th April'26. Never received it, and they scammed POD. WILL NEVER EVER order online is this pathetic SA company delivering it. Don't even try to call the call centre, lol. Its as pathetic as this company!!!!! Scamming 1000%.

Courier says he left it on your balcony

Parcel marked as delivered in the 18th of Feb 2026, courier claims it was delivered on the 13th and dropped at my front door. I have a CCTV covering the front of my house, no deliveries that day or the 20th. 2 months later, and about 20 phone calls, when I last called them the case on their system was marked as delivered and "Customer confirmed delivery". R1000 gone, and they cannot provide me with any evidence of delivery.

They just not professional they don't collect customer orders I have booked more than 6 items but nothing I mean like worst courier service ever and we can't keepon working with such bad service please can it be removed.

Everything sucks with them

Everything sucks with them, Communication sucks, Customer Service sucks, Delivery fails and they claim it's because of failure to make contact and yet they never came. They are the worst

Do not use DPDLaser courier

Two days in a row a package with status "out on delivery today" does not get delivered, with the status being updated after 17:00 on both days to "failed to deliver parcel". Emails sent to enquire receives no reply. Pathetic service, especially considering the parcel only needed to be delivered from Port Elizabeth to Queenstown - now taking 6 days and counting.

Dreadful service, literally

When I saw that this company would be delivering my Amazon South Africa order I was filled with dread and it all went exactly as expected. The due day the driver called and sounded out of it "is it a balcony"? Nope. Turns out he was practically in a different city. Claimed it would be "re-delivered". Next day checking tracking it was claimed the parcel had been delivered. Nope. I raised an issue because Amazon didn't seem to be doing ANYTHING about this issue. DPD emailed me and claimed it was delivered to my wife. How can that be if it wasn't? They were then instructed by Amazon (apparently) to return the items for a refund because I can't operate like this. Next day I received an email notifying me they would try to deliver proving Amazon were doing nothing. I told them to return the package but I doubt it's over.
