What a nightmare, avoid at all costs!

What a nightmare these people are putting me through right now.

I placed an order on Shein containing 31 items, but only 15 items were delivered. I reported this to Shein who said that at the time of dispatch no items were missing from my order, nor was it shipped separately. This means that the missing items were lost or stolen by Buffalo.

I did notice that my package was opened and sealed again using black Buffalo packing tape. I assumed this was because of customs but now I suspect the missing items were stolen.

I reported this to Buffalo who just referred me back to Shein. I've also gotten a couple of complaints from other people online saying they experienced the same thing; their packages were opened and sealed again and items were also missing.

It seems like Buffalo has created a rep for themselves as being unreliable.

Avoid them as much as you can.

I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the services provided by Buffalo Logistics. My recent experience with this company has been not only disappointing but also frustrating due to their unprofessional practices and misleading communication.

To illustrate my concerns, I had arranged for a parcel collection that required Buffalo's driver, Terence, to pick up an item for return to a third-party supplier. For five consecutive days, I received text messages assuring me that Terence would be arriving to collect the parcel and advising me to remain at home. In an effort to clarify the situation, I contacted Buffalo's customer support twice during this period. Each time, I was assured that the collection would occur the very next day. Unfortunately, these assurances proved to be false, as no one showed up to collect the parcel on any of the promised days.

Given my experience, I feel compelled to caution the public against using Buffalo Logistics for delivery and logistics services. I sincerely hope that my feedback will encourage the company to improve its operations and customer communication.
Your mission " We deliver HOPE " is absolutely false like your service is to.

I'm extremely disappointed with the…

I'm extremely disappointed with the delivery guy, he was very rude he didn't know my place and when I directed him,he started to be impatient and mean. Worse thing he didn't want to deliver my package at the given address and wanted me to meet him somewhere else, whereas other driver's never ask me for such as they deliver at the given address. I don't want to lie your service is very bad

​Headline: Unacceptable and abusive driver behavior – Security concern



​I am extremely disappointed with the service from Buffalo Logistics. Yesterday, a driver delivering a Shein parcel was verbally abusive and hostile toward my helper.
​My helper was simply following safety instructions to verify the delivery origin before opening the gate—a necessary precaution given the high rate of crime and "bogus" deliveries. Instead of being professional, the driver became aggressive. This behavior is completely unbecoming of a professional service and a major security red flag. I have submitted a formal complaint via email and expect a follow-up

Absolutely the worst delivery and customer service …

Absolutely the worst delivery experience and customer Service I’ve ever had.

My parcel has been sitting in Buffalo’s warehouse for no valid reason, even after I explicitly scheduled delivery. No explanation, no accountability? just delays.

Their customer service is a complete mess. Agents give inaccurate information, emails are ignored, and no one takes responsibility. You’re left chasing your own parcel with zero support.

At this point, it genuinely feels like customers are not a priority at all. This level of incompetence is unacceptable.

If you’re expecting a smooth delivery experience, be warned, you might not get your parcel when you’re supposed to.

I am extremely disappointed with the…

I am extremely disappointed with the service from Buffalo Logistics. My package was supposed to be delivered on the 10th, but I am still waiting days later.
The driver contacted me saying their vehicle overheated, which I understood at the time. However, I was then promised delivery on Tuesday and even received a WhatsApp confirmation — yet nothing was delivered.
I followed up again on Wednesday, and still no package. At this point, it’s not just a delay, it’s a complete lack of communication and reliability.
Being given multiple delivery dates that are not honored is unacceptable. Customers should not have to keep calling just to get basic updates.
I expect better service and proper communication going forward.

Very bad service with Buffalo

Very bad service with Buffalo. There contact nr does not work. You can never speak to a live agent. Directs you to whatsapp, but that too is pathetic. They have my parcel, its been days. Say its detained.How can it be so long with customs. Does not make sense. Why have a contact nr when you cannot handle the service. Where is my parcel?

Unprofessional, Unreliable, and Extremely Frustrating Service

Absolutely shocking service from Buffalo Courier Services.
The driver made no attempt to contact me — no call, no message — yet somehow decided I was “not available.” I waited the entire day specifically for this delivery, only for the driver to falsely mark it as unsuccessful. This is either pure negligence or complete dishonesty.
Customer service was no better. I was told they don’t have contact details for their own drivers, which raises serious concerns about how this company is even managed. The only response I received was “wait for the driver,” with zero effort to investigate or resolve the issue. That is not customer service — that is avoidance.
As a result, my delivery has now been delayed again due to their own failure to do the bare minimum. Customers should not have to chase couriers for parcels that they are already being paid to deliver.
I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to think twice. Based on this experience, the lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism is unacceptable.
I would appreciate a proper response from Buffalo Courier Services explaining:
Why no attempt was made to contact me
Why false delivery attempts are being recorded
And what will be done to ensure this delivery actually happens without further delays
Until then, I cannot recommend this service to anyone.

I absolutely hate Buffalo

I absolutely hate Buffalo. Their WhatsApp number is basically useless. The actual number is also useless because their agents are absolutely unhelpful and it isn’t even their fault. They basically have no information and can’t help with anything. Their email is the most useless. They redirect you from WhatsApp to their email in case you “don’t get a response” but their email is an automated response that basically just gives you the WRONG WhatsApp number and the number to call that takes up plenty of airtime just for an agent to tell you “sorry you just have to wait”, then you wait and wait and wait until then next message is “sorry, we can’t help you”. Useless company

Great courier service!!

I have worked with Buffalo many times when they deliver my shein orders. It always arrives either EARLY or on time (in the expected delivery window).

I've never had anything broken, even when i ordered fragile things. Really impressed

NO Customer service

I have had it with your absolute horrible service.
This parcel has been sent from Kempton to JHB to Vaal to JHB to PTA then appartently the adress had to be updated because it does not exist.

Your call centre is of no use, no one ever phones back, the one person that phoned actually said a manager will phone me, but clearly there is no management that works in the building or maybe in the whole company.

Where is my parcel?

I do not want another mail that states it will be sent out within 48 to 72 hours. Clearly that is also not the case if you look at the attached feedback, if you can call it that.

I want a proper answer. I will even collect because clearly Midrand is on wheels and moves around South Africa.

Absolutely unacceptable behaviour from…

Absolutely unacceptable behaviour from this company. The way employees are treated is extremely concerning, with reports of workers being underpaid despite the work they put in. No company should be exploiting its staff like this. It shows a serious lack of ethics and respect for the people who keep the business running.

Even worse are the concerns around customer data protection. Businesses have a legal responsibility under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) to safeguard people's personal information. Any indication that customer data is not being handled properly is a major red flag.

A company that cannot respect its employees or protect the personal information of its customers should seriously reconsider how it operates. Accountability, fair pay, and proper data protection are not optional they are basic responsibilities.

Very disappointing experience and extremely worrying practise.

Private Customer Forced to Get Importer’s Code

I paid for my full SHEIN order, but Buffalo is refusing to deliver my parcel unless I apply for an importer’s code. I am a private individual, not a business. My parcel is being held and delayed for no valid reason. This has caused stress, wasted time, and uncertainty. I want my parcel released and delivered immediately. I have already contacted SARS and was told private imports do not require a personal importer’s code...so what the actual f..!

i am wanting to return an item

i am wanting to return an item. The driver keep saying that they are on their way, please stay home to do a pickup. Im waiting for over a week for them to fetch the parcel. Today he said that they dont to pickups in my area as they are not allowed to.. Unbelievable how they can drop a parcel for delivery but all of a sudden dont do pickups to return an item. Big dissappoinment. Dont even feel like giving star to the review. Driver is Leon Daniels

Very poor service

Very poor service. They marked my SHEIN package as delivered, but I still have not received my package. Trying to contact support is frustrating because I only get automated messages, and when an agent finally responds, they just repeat that the system shows it was delivered. I asked for the driver’s number plate and proper delivery details, and they told me they are investigating, but it has now been 14 days with no feedback. No one can explain where the parcel was left or who received it. Extremely disappointing and unreliable service.

I have explained her many times that in order to get my parcel back, TEMU asked me to contact my local courier to get my parcel back as it was supposed to be collected by fast way couriers but Mpho continues to say I should contact the supplier in China. Unemployment rates are high. Give jobs to people who actually know how to work

Terrible

Terrible, they said they delivered my package, but it was never received. Even when trying to contact their support team I only get automated messages for hours, and when someone finally responded it was - Our system says it was delivered. and that's it, no replies to where it was delivered, to who it was delivered. I hope they lose all their business and Temu never uses them again.
