Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 116 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the customer service, finding it unhelpful, unresponsive, and difficult to resolve issues. Customers frequently encountered problems with their orders, such as items not arriving, missing products, or incorrect shipments. The quality of products also raised concerns, with some experiencing issues like damaged items, poor durability, or products that did not meet expectations. Though some customers reported positive interactions with customer service representatives who were helpful and professional, these instances appear to be less common. A few other people also felt that some products were fine or made good gifts, and some appreciated the complimentary gifts received through loyalty programs.

Dior forever transfer proof lipstick

Hi, I recently ordered dior forever transfer proof lipstick shade Grace 558. The lipstick is very dry, sticky and it seems to me that it is expired... the colour is not the same as on the website, and it is not staying on the lips for hours as stated, it stays until I had water and then my lips looked like with no lipstick.

Non Christian Dior Product!….

I purchased Christian Dior Petit CD Mini Stud Earrings for £320 as a Xmas present, they arrived via courier direct from Christian Dior….
Everything good until May, the earrings lost a stone, I contacted CD, via phone and email, with over 20 images of product, after continuous chase I got a reply to say they were deemed faulty, all we wanted was a replacement no, they would not action this, they wanted the items back to review, I asked for a courier label to keep to their terms and conditions and also was insured if parcel was lost, I parcelled in original packaging with presentation box and ribbon and took to courier, I photographed items, packaging and hand over courier parcel, got a receipt and thought that was that….
But no, I received an email to say the parcel was received, then the following day I received an email stating that the parcel received from myself was non Dior earrings, which means that the original order I purchased and received from yourselves ’Christian Dior’, was also non Dior earrings, so basically you sold me a product not as advertised on your website ‘Christian Dior’ ???,
The faulty ‘Christian Dior’ earrings I sent back are the same earrings you sold me in the first place and as per all the photographic images sent to you in previous emails showing the missing stone and deeming them faulty by your workshop team !!!!.
I was mortified with the response, I contacted police fraud squad, section 75 from my credit card, trading standards and reported to all with crime numbers.
I had done everything asked by Christian Dior, I contacted CD over 30 emails and over 30 calls.
Only my persistence and knowing my rights and being professional at all times, that I eventually got a resolution…
My final comment never never ever buy from Christian Dior it the worst company ever ever I have purchased from, I do not like being called a liar on the phone, I think personally that for a luxury brand they have a lot to answer for.
ONE STAR * IS TOO HIGH A RATING.

Appalling ‘luxury’ brand

My partner bought me some Christian Dior earrings from the website in December and unfortunately by May one of the stones had fallen out of one of the earrings. We contacted Christian Dior and after a lot of chasing & excuses about the workshop being not able to repair them, they emailed us a label and asked us to send the earrings back for a refund. We packaged them in the original packaging and the original bag and box that they came in. They were received back by christian Dior & when we called about the refund, we were told that the earrings they received back were not a pair, and were not authentic. They called us liars and an investigation was launched as to what happened to my earrings…we asked for pictures of the earrings that they apparently received back and a video of the parcel being opened but they would not provide anything to us using GDPR as an excuse. It took nearly 6 weeks to get our money back after calling them most days, and emailing. If we had not been so persistant or known our rights we would have not got any money back. We have never experienced anything like this before, there is obviously some sort of organised crime going on in this so called luxury company. We will never purchase anything from Christian Dior again.

I ordered a product that had minor…

I ordered a product that had minor stains, I asked by text and email if it was normal, one reply said it’s defective and another say it’s normal. I said if I want to return ill drop it off, few days later, a random pick up was scheduled showing up at my house. Like WTF, do better Dior…

Unethical process for a refund

I purchased a dior eyeliner it cost 29.70 euros. I got a severe reaction after just one use. I had read the company ethos and felt confident i had made a good choice. I contacted the company and went through a lengthy process, emails, phone calls, interrogation etc. Finally I was informed to get a refund would not only take several weeks but wasn't guaranteed. To start this process I had to post highly confidential information. My bank statement, my I.D, proof of purchase, my address and the product. I had no problem sending the product and proof of purchase, even my bic and iban but I felt anything else was highly risky. They were adamant this was the only avenue. I declined and they kept my money. Totally unethical company.

3rd UPDATE

3rd review and am giving 5 stars because Daria from customer relations has been fantastic. She looked into my emails and grievance of the shoes returned too me and refusal of refund. It was realised after investigation that my shoes did not come with a security tag so I was asked to return and would be refunded, I was also given an apology. I have now been refunded and the customer support from Daria has made my experience so much better. So what I am going to say is... Don't put up with the Dior saying they won't refund, email customer services and keep emailing and emailing until someone in Dior will listen. As I said 5 stars is to Daria but it's absolutely no stars to the company itself and I will definitely not be purchasing from them or any of their products ever again.

Very disappointing! Customer Service is not existent

Very disappointing experience ordering from Dior online. My gift never arrived, even though it was marked as delivered. They work with UPS and UPS shows the package as delivered, but signed by someone with a different name and who doesn’t live in the house. We never received the package! No scan of signature, nothing proving the real delivery. I expected much better reliability and support from a luxury brand.

Customer Serivce via Whatsapp, Email and Phone - absolutely no reaction on my problem. It’s a shame and really disgusting how inhuman their approach to customer is! This has nothing to do with a luxury experience.

3 weeks passed and no solution! They just ignore me on all channels

Deceptive brand

Absolutely the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had – completely incompetent and utterly unprofessional.
I purchased a ring that quite literally fell apart within a year — the crystals detached and the entire piece dismantled, which is unacceptable for any product, let alone one sold under the guise of a premium brand. They initially agreed to issue a refund, so I returned the product… over five months ago. Since then, it has been a never-ending cycle of frustration.

I’ve contacted their so-called customer service team more than ten times, and each time I’m met with the same robotic script: “It’s being processed.” No updates, no accountability, and absolutely no resolution. Five months later, I haven’t received a single penny. The only “update” I ever get is when I chase them down myself, only to hear the same tired excuse.

This company is not just inefficient — it’s borderline deceptive. If you’re even slightly uncertain about placing an order, do yourself a favor and stay far away. You’ll likely end up with a broken product, no refund, and a customer service team that appears more skilled at stalling than solving problems. A truly disgraceful experience from start to finish.

Please don’t buy from them

I ordered a pair of shoes directly from Dior.com expecting the level of quality and service the brand is known for. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed to receive shoes that were clearly used, with visible wear and marks. I returned them immediately, without wearing them, and explained the issue clearly.

Instead of acknowledging the problem, Dior’s customer service claimed the marks were caused by me while “trying them on” — which is completely untrue. I was then denied a refund, even though I followed all return instructions and received a defective product to begin with.

This kind of treatment is unacceptable from a luxury brand. I expected better integrity, accountability, and basic respect for the customer. I will not be ordering from Dior again, and I urge others to be cautious — especially if you’re shopping online.

Luxury name, garbage service.

I placed my first Dior Beauty Canada order and it was a complete disaster. I purchased nearly $200 in full-price beauty products, mainly to get the complimentary pouch they advertised.
The pouch arrived badly scratched, clearly used or damaged — and had no box.

I emailed Dior immediately — within one hour — with photo proof as requested. No reply. I followed up again. Still no reply.

When I finally called, a representative apologized, promised to send a new pouch, or if not available, samples or a compensation code. I followed every step they told me.
But guess what? I never heard from them again.

After chasing them again days later, I spoke to a second rep named Ethan, who coldly told me: “We don’t send anything. The first person was mistaken.”
The only “solution” they offered was: return the entire order.
That’s it.

This is not a luxury experience — it’s a joke. Dior’s customer service is incompetent, dishonest, and unprofessional. They ignored my emails, broke their promises, and blamed their own staff for misleading me.

I’ve never felt so disappointed and disrespected by a brand. Dior Beauty clearly doesn’t care about customers. First time, last time. Never again.

Do not order from Dior Online

Almost identical experience to Caz (posted 13 May 2025). I ordered a £168 bottle of perfume, empty box delivered (except for 2 samples). Been in constant contact with customer service for over a week who have been completely useless and say the perfume was delivered according to their packaging records and will not fulfil my order or issue a refund (basically calling me a liar). Now escalating.

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service- purchased SPF 50 face and body set as a gift for my daughter who was holidaying with a friend. First day there she was badly burnt, applied as per instructions, the face product was fine the body one wasn’t - her arms got badly burnt - ended up purchasing some cheap SPF when she away which worked better. Contacted Dior and got a phone call from someone who was referring it as they hadn’t had any other complaints, he advised he would be back in touch - that was 4 weeks ago so I emailed again yesterday and got an email this morning to say they can’t assist further in case - she mustn’t have applied correctly (She’s 20 and quite capable of reading and following instructions) so I find this quite rude. Why wait until I chase it up - surely they could have come back to me before now.
I’m a platinum member with Dior and find their customer service shocking!

Tarnished jewellery

I purchased a Dior Clair D lune necklace in August 2024 (less than a year ago) at a cost of £430. The two resin pearls tarnished and I contacted Dior asking for a repair or replacement and both were rejected as they advised that the tarnishing was due to ‘manipulation’ . They said the use of fragrances would have caused the damage and therefore would not honour the warranty. There is an issue with the quality of the jewellery if it cannot withstand some perfume. The necklace has been worn less than 10 times. I appreciate this is expensive fashion jewellery but would not have expected such poor quality. Dior advised that the materials used are delicate (gold plating over brass!) and should not be worn with any chemicals. To say how disappointed I am is an understatement. Please be aware if purchasing Dior fashion jewellery.

Sloane Street Store

I visited the Sloane Street store and it did not disappoint. This was my first visit to an actual bricks and mortar shop and it was incredible. We got a wonderful welcome on entering the shop and offered champagne or other drinks, (opted for water as it was HOT). I was left to browse and take in all the wonderful items on display. After a little discussion with a well dressed ambassador (Pedro Jorge), we were asked if we wanted to see the couture hand made items, jumped at the chance and so pleased we did. A lift took us to a beautifully decorated lounge area whilst our assistant brought out exquisitely made hand embroidered dresses and skirts. They were simply stunning. I made six purchases which were packaged beautifully and was also offered a Dior Spa experience in La Suite in Harrods but unfortunately we just did not have the time as it was a day visit. We will definitely be back to this store, the ambiance, the ambassadors and the choice available were a credit to the Christian Dior brand. Thank you so much.

Not bad, but needs some revamping

I made a purchase off of Dior’s website for the first time and I am happy to say that my order arrived in a week! However, I think Dior needs to update their customer service. From what I could find on their website was a phone line you can call for questions. They don’t provide an email address, which I found to be bizarre! A phone line is not very practical when you can just sending a quick email. They do have a message page that I only found out about later, but I just don’t think it is up to date.

I also never received an email letting me know that my order has shipped, so I didn’t get that reassurance that it was on its way. As an anxious person, I like to receive confirmation emails from the website. Also my order was no where to be found under my account, which left me feeling nervous.

Overall, Dior.com is not a bad website, but I do think they need to make some changes regarding their customer service.

Dior needs to stop using DPD!!

Dior needs to stop using DPD!!! Such a disappointment. I rescheduled a Saturday delivery due to having to leave home and not being able to wait for my delivery . I rescheduled it for Sunday. Never received my delivery but instead the next day I received an email to say that my order is on its way back to Dior , then I was told that as soon as my order reaches Dior warehouse It will be sent back to me. Since i needed my order as a Birthday Gift and it didnt arrive on time there was no point of the gift anymore so I asked to be refunded! Then 5 days later i get an email from Dpd that my order will be delivered today and it never arrived . Dior I want my money back!!!
