I recently visited the DFS Paisley branch on several occasions to enquire about purchasing two of the Chillwave 3-seater reclining sofas. Unfortunately, each time I visited, I was given different information, and on several occasions the information I received simply didn’t align with what I had been told previously or with my expectations. After today’s visit, I was so disappointed and confused that I had started looking at other reputable furniture retailers, having almost completely lost interest in purchasing the Chillwave sofas.

However, on the off chance, I decided to drive through to the DFS London Road branch to see whether I would receive the same information and, thankfully, I did not.

From the moment I walked into the London Road branch, I was greeted by Hazel, and what a difference that made.

Hazel was open, honest and completely transparent from the very beginning. She immediately gave me the confidence I had been missing and took the time to properly understand what I was looking for. Every question I asked was answered professionally, confidently and, where she didn’t immediately have the answer, she went out of her way to find it for me.

What really stood out was that Hazel genuinely cared about getting things right rather than simply making a sale. She listened to what I wanted, shared her experience and gave me honest advice, including her thoughts on the different colour options that would work particularly well with my new extension.

As a result, I went from being completely disheartened and considering taking my business elsewhere to purchasing two Chillwave 3-seater reclining sofas and two footstools from DFS.

Quite simply, if it wasn’t for Hazel, DFS would have lost my business.

She completely restored my confidence in both the Chillwave product and DFS as a company, and more importantly, she demonstrated exactly what outstanding customer service should look like. She was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, professional and genuinely committed to helping me.

Hazel is an absolute credit to DFS and, in my opinion, deserves recognition for the way she handled my experience. The difference between my experience at Paisley and my experience with Hazel at London Road could not have been greater.

I would strongly encourage DFS management to ensure Hazel sees this review and receives the recognition she deserves. She has not only secured this sale for DFS, but has also potentially secured a repeat customer for the future.

We first entered the DFS in London Rd, and was greeted by a colleague, Deeps (was also the name on his device) he was extremely chatty and make sure he understood what we were looking for. After some chat, he showed us to some beds that we had been looking at and what we had in mind, he managed to show us some that were available online as well, and we had seen something exactly as we had pictured, and when it came to the mattress, he showed us some that would be fitting to us both as what we had liked in a mattress. By the end of it all, Deeps had everything laid out for us, gave us ideas when to expect the deliveries and what we can do. Even after this, he showed us some dinning sets that were in the store as well, and letting us know what DFS has to select from. We were really thankful for all that he had to show and offer us from start to finish on our visit and experience. 100% incredible and so thoughtful
