Free Plan Changes are TERRIBLE

They've recently made adjustments to the free plan, I am fine with having restricted feature set, no new passwords etc, but they've started making the free version terrible to use.

It started with requiring your master password for every password copy, and they've now done away with that and instead made the default copy/paste keybinds not work. You can still copy passwords easily with Tampermonkey scripts, but it shouldn't be a service pushed with annoyance. If you offer a better feature set for a lower price, I'd be tempted, but at this point I'll be going Bitwarden.

No access to password vault without latest OS

Dashlane requires you to have the latest version of their app and the latest version of the OS installed. If you don't want to or can't, Dashlane will lock both your current app to your password vault without any warning. This will also block access to all your apps that require a password. Very arrogant and illegal.

used to be great

used to be great. price hikes, broken android app for autofill, broken firefox plugin that is now so unintuitive, removal of yubikey support, not worth the cost for a family subscription anymore. Stop "innovating" when your innovations are steps backwards.

Great while it worked, poor customer service and no longer good value

Had years of good service on the technical side of the service, working apps for all platforms and family plan was perfect for us. However, following a recent price increase I had a terrible experience with customer support who were consistently confusing my issues, stating that I'd taken actions that were not true, and taking months to resolve something that should have been a simple request.

Can't praise high enough.

I have been assisted by very competent, knowledgable staff members when I have approached Dashlane for advice and help. They have a calming demeanor and assist willingly.
Step by step, written directions and NO pressure.
I'm very happy with my experiences from purchase to a recent self-caused issue.

How to support

I had a problem with 2 step authentication - the codes didn't came via SMS - i had to contact support. They told me I have to give photo of my ID to identify - I didn't want to do that, so support came with another idea of authorisation specially for my request. After that everything worked. Minus 1 star for the not working SMS factor - if it would work I wouldnt had to contact support in the 1st place, but bcs support was on point with everything else - the overall score is 4/5

Huge waste of time trying to get…

Huge waste of time trying to get Dashlane to do its job. No response on many sites' logins requires manually looking up and manually entering passwords anyway so why do I pay them to do this job? Then, every 14 days, they decided to completely shut down, even on my private PC to which has noone but I have access, until I reenter the complicated Dashlane password to satisfy some Big Brother Dashlane-invented corporate rules ( of course without any end-user input on the issue). Horrible customer service and elitist corporate attitude.

This company has unhelpful customer…

This company has unhelpful customer service and is unwilling to address customer issues or issue a refund when the issues cannot be resolved on their end.

I wouldn't recommend this company. Honestly, Apple and Google offer free password managers and there are better companies as well out there offering more secure solutions and better customer support.

I am very happy with the product

I am very happy with the product, but a recent software update made my extension fail. I started with the Chatbot, but it really couldn't deal with it. I guess no one told it that this software update would be producing a lot of clients. So I ended up with a real person who explained what had happened and talked me through how to delete the extension and then re-add it. Everything is fine now, but there was a problem when DASHLANE would not present the login screen.

Loving password management with Dashlane...

As a rule, I don't do surveys, but Dashlane deserve it.

Personal Premium subscription for the last four years; Free version for a couple of years before that. Have used the Password Generator, Logins (with auto-filling), Secure Notes, Personal Info, Password Health, Dark Web Monitoring and History features with ease, after a little bit of learning... VPN and Sharing Centre in the near future, probably...

Have used it on the now, unfortunately, defunct Windows desktop app, the Android app and the browser extensions in Edge, Chrome, Brave, Opera and Firefox variously on four mobiles (Androids) and four computers (Windows and Ubuntu) over time. There's been a few glitches, but was that Dashlane, me or the websites? It IS software after all...

Push emails from Dashlane haven't been that numerous to be annoying. The content in them has been mostly interesting, to me at least.

My one and only instance of tech support from Customer Service has been FANTASTIC. After what most would call an initial "first level support", Cat came through with detailed technical information to resolve an incomplete uninstallation of the defunct desktop on Windows.
