Returning back to the sport after 10 years and the first shop I could think of looking at was Custom Riders. Placed a rather large order with them which took a couple of days to put together. I didn’t catch the name of the gent I spoke to on the phone but he was really nice and professional. He explained that because of the bank holidays etc the supplier had delayed a hub and did what he could to work around it with me to ensure I got what I wanted as soon as. We agreed to wait until early afternoon and if the hub hadn’t arrived from the supplier we were going to look at other options. Thankfully the hub did arrive and within a couple of hours I got a notification saying it was awaiting pickup from DPD (this also included building the wheel) the time, care and professionalism they put in makes it all the worth while doing business with them. They were great 10+ years ago and still great to this day!

Bought a frame from them that appeared to be on sale, I then got a call from them blaming the distributor for a price on their website and that they couldn’t get hold of it anymore so would have to cancel the order. Two days later the frame was back up on site at a higher price.

Been a customer for over 30 years and can hand on heart say this is the best BMX shop in the UK. They have been there from the early days of BMX supporting the scene.

Super knowledgeable about everything from finding a good starter bike to having all the intricate parts to repair your bike that you can't find in other shops.

Run by riders for riders. Friendly, reliable, quick delivery, competitive prices and in it for the right reasons. Unlike another large shop that comes up on search results. Support the guys who support BMX :)

Great BMX shop to buy from. After many years off the BMX i decided to refresh the bike and custom riders was always my go to place for parts in the past. Some of the parts I ordered weren’t in stock but I received a phone call from custom the following morning to arrange a different product. I always this fantastic shop .always helpful..these guys know there stuff.40 years in the game ..no one else I know or even a shop that mainly specialises in bmx parts is no where near what these guys know..Nothing is ever a problem..NO BIKE PLACE IN HERTFORDSHIRE HAS THE KNOWLEDGE LIKE THESE GUYS..ALWAYS SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BMX SHOP..you can actually go to the bike shop get parts off the shelf..WELL WORTH A VISIT..100PERCENT..

I’m an old school rider building a new school bike. I had questions that were so kindly answered and when placing my order they upgraded postage to next day FOC. I will only use Custom riders from now on. Fantastic, and I don’t do reviews 😊👍🏻

And I first started riding in 2002 !
They always have the clothes or parts in stock that other shops don’t have or are out of stock with and usually on offer so can’t complain with that. Definitely highly recommended!

yeah I've been getting bits and pieces from custom riders since 2002 and they have never let me down!
I had lots of bmx parts, DVD's plus allsorts of clothing and safety equipment from them over the years all at some of the best prices in the UK
No lie kidda they built my Homer hubs into a pair of 48h g-sport rims and they're still going strong nearly 10 years later!!!
