I had a issue when ordering for myself-however it got worse when my husband ordered me a bottle of perfume (rather expensive perfume not that thats the point) when it arrived it was left on our door step opened and used. Since then cult beauty have asked us to send the parcel back using a courier that provided- it has now not reached them, despite us giving tracking information and regular updates. They have basically said - they will mot give us a refund (this is not what we want anyway we just want what we paid for without it being opened and used) so we wanted a replacement- this £250mil company are refusing to help us in anyway!
Even now we are still back and forth trying to get this matter sorted! All my husband was trying to do was get me a bottle of perfume i have wanted for such a long time and they sent out a used opened one!!! Pictures and evidence was all sent to them but do they care-NO! Avoid them i will never ever use them again ! You should be discussed how you have treated us throughout this!
In regards to my issue with them - it was solved after me having to drive to DHL local head office 26miles away to collect my parcel!!!
After reading reviews this morning from other customer of course i only read the y ones- all says the same thing!!!

I’ve been a Cult Beauty customer since…
I’ve been a Cult Beauty customer since 2018 and I’ve placed more than 60 orders with them. I’m sure they’re not too bothered if I never order from them again because they’ll still be making plenty of sales but I’m really furious with their customer service. I’m not sure if they’re now relying on AI for responding to customer service or not but I’ve had a problem with their courier delivering my latest order- long story short, I got next day delivery and placed my order to arrive when I knew I’d be in, they had it out for delivery but didn’t attempt to deliver then I’ve been at work most of the week since. I also asked them to deliver on Tuesday and the person waited about 30 seconds before leaving. In their responses to my complaint, Cult Beauty have given me copy and paste replies (literally word for word) and snippy replies, essentially blaming me for not being in all day, every day. They’ve refused to offer to contact the carrier and say they can’t help. The carrier are now not allowing me to adjust my delivery at all so I guess I’m not getting my order and they’re keeping my money. Once this is resolved, I’m assuming when the parcel is returned to them, I will be deleting my account and will never order with them again. If a company won’t step up when things go wrong, you can’t trust them. They’ve told me that I can’t choose carriers and they don’t inform you until you’ve placed the order who the carrier is so I won’t be going through this again.

Have been a customer for many years and…
Have been a customer for many years and ordered numerous times never had a problem. However I ordered two concealers and by accident ordered a foundation. It arrived on the Tuesday and I returned all 3 items it Wednesday (not even 24 hour later ) I then had an email
To say only one concealer would be refunded I contacted them on their live chat and was told a refund for the other items would follow.
Then received an email saying that I “had opened and used” two items. This is not correct why would I open a foundation I ordered by accident
And even put on the return ordered by accident ?! I responded and kept getting an automated response until I had an email from Nicholas saying he would review and come back to me.
Imagine my surprise when I came home and both

To me! The foundation clearly
Hasn’t been opened!!! Lost a valid customer now!

Called me dishonest and closed my account with no solution to a problem they caused!
I have been a Cult Beauty customer for around a decade and have placed many large orders with them over the years, so I am genuinely shocked by how I have been treated.
I recently ordered an Hourglass palette as a birthday present for my sister. It arrived cracked, so I contacted Cult Beauty and provided a photograph clearly showing the damage. They initially accepted this and confirmed that a replacement would be sent.
As the replacement wasn’t going to arrive in time for my sister’s birthday, I had to purchase the same palette elsewhere from Space NK at my own expense.
I then received an email from Cult Beauty informing me that not only had they cancelled the replacement, but they had also closed my account. The reasoning given was essentially that it would not be possible for the product to have arrived damaged.
I find this extraordinary. Makeup palettes are fragile items and can obviously be damaged in transit. More importantly, Cult Beauty had already reviewed the photograph I provided and agreed to replace the item.
To go from confirming a replacement to effectively suggesting that a longstanding customer is being dishonest and then closing their account, is an appalling way to handle a legitimate complaint.
After around ten years of being a loyal customer and spending a significant amount of money with Cult Beauty, I certainly did not expect to be treated like this over one damaged palette.
I would strongly caution other customers about what appears to be an extremely inflexible approach to damaged goods and customer complaints. I have now purchased the replacement from Space NK and, following this experience, they will be receiving my future beauty spend too.
