A Big thank you to Cuff and Gough for…

A Big thank you to Cuff and Gough for the very professional and friendly way in which both my sale and my purchase were completed and for their good wishes.
Cathy was so friendly and efficient with very helpful advice and Tom was amazing with his detailed knowledge of the vendor's shared lease situation and the staircasing required for me to purchase the freehold. Definitely recommended.

Great service

Excellent conveyancing service with good communication at all times. My Daughter received similar and they went above and beyond to sort out a stressful house move!
Recent sound advice on family law which saved me wasting money.

Great service from Molly Goldrick and…

Great service from Molly Goldrick and team during our property purchase. Molly is thorough but expeditious, and communication throughout was excellent. We could not fault the service that we received and would happily recommend Cuff & Gough to anyone requiring a conveyancer.

Errors with Will

The task was to make my new Will. I provided a Word document with beneficiaries' details, but the draft had multiple errors in these. Details could just have been copied and pasted, but errors included: deleting an executor's address, incorrect bequests, one charity beneficiary incorrectly added, and another incorrectly omitted altogether. Beneficiaries were jumbled in no clear order, not as per my original Instructions. If the work had been carried out by a junior, it could not have been checked by anyone more senior.
The second draft was still not accurate so I went to another firm where the draft was perfect first time.
When I received Cuff & Gough's invoice it was 20% higher than the written quote for the full Will including signing and registration - despite my having pulled out before they'd had to do the later work.
When they corrected the invoice, I paid but then had to chase for a receipt.
I would not recommend this firm. A pity because I had other work which I would have put with them.
