I'm a senior with heart disease

I'm a senior with heart disease. Ihad lymphedema. The VA gave me a Cubii, which I've been using daily for 6 months. The edema is gone, and I'm actually breathing a little better. The Cubii is one of a few factors, but a big one. It helps a lot.

Good Product, Terrible Customer Service.

As a Cubii owner for 4 over years I've seen the Cubii Customer Services deteriorate from excellent 4 years ago to non existant now. Last week I contacted Cubii twice through the Cubii App regarding an issue with the App preventing me enjoying the full functionality of my Cubii Pro, I didn't receive an answer to either enquiry. I would have recommended Cubii 4 years ago but not now due to their poor Customer Service.

POOR Customer Service

I called the customer service #. The message said that there were no customer service agents available. The message said to call back during business hours. The message does not say when the business hours are. Later on I saw that it was between 9 and 6 CT. I called several times between these hours. I heard the same message.
I emailed customer service 2 days ago. I am still waiting for a response.

Buy with caution if you need to move it around at all

I purchased this device because it seemed to fit my lifestyle. But the reality is I can’t have, and don’t want, the cubii out ALL the time, there are times I need to put it away and this is not an easy task.

I am a male, early 40’s and I find it difficult to move around, it isn’t light, and it is awkward shaped, so trying to store it is very difficult. Much of this is to be expected. An under the desk eliptical isn’t going to be shaped like a square that just fits nicely into any little box. But this brings me to my point: if Cubii doesn’t make a proper case for these things, or some sort of a rolling device that allows you to turn it on its side, kind of like an airplane seat tray, up and fold sideways, then I would say if you have a need to put this away or move around sometimes, you don’t want a Cubii.

I’m not knocking the product, just the practicality of the device given I have searched high and low for a Cubii storage container or system of any kind and neither their website, nor Amazon, nor Google have turned up anything that is meant for these devices. And given many people buying these are older than me, the weight will be a problem if you need to put it away or out of sight if guests are over or if you have a small space.

Weak footplate fixings

The cubii under desk pedal machine is a sound idea , but as with many things the design has a weak point. The cubii foot-plates are secured to the steel shs bar beneath by small plastic lugs moulded into the footplate and screwed through the bar. These snap too easily rendering the machine useless. I solved this by strapping it back with chunky cable ties through existing holes beneath the removable rubber pad on the plate. Now BETTER than new. Shame I can’t upload a picture.

The best money you will ever spend on exercise equipment for anyone who can't exercise normally!!!

As I am a permanent wheelchair user I needed a way to be able to do some form of exercise because I haven't been able to do any really since I left the rehabilitation unit following a spinal cord compression in 2011. I saw the Cubii advertised on shop tv and I thought that looks like something that I can use while sat in my wheelchair. Its a small elliptical machine that can only be used when sitting down. My balance is affected and I have several other problems with my legs and this looked like something I could use without putting myself at risk. After ordering it and waiting for the delivery I was delighted when it arrived and all I had to do was to attach the pedals with the screws and screwdriver provided and it was ready to use. I found the best place for me to store and to use it and I was ready to start. It took me a little while to get my wheelchair in the right position and I started to pedal away. I started on level 1 of the 8 different resistance settings and the led screen tells you the number of steps taken, the speed in kph, how many calories burned, and the time taken to complete however many steps you do, you can even choose to scroll through the different information it gives you or you can just select to have the steps done and any one of the other information details, I keep mine set to the calories burned. They recommend that you use it for 20minutes a day but I've slowly worked my way up to completing 10,000 steps a day on setting 1 but from tomorrow morning I will move to number 2 setting and start working up the number of steps i can complete without making anything ache. As well as getting some exercise as someone who suffers from chronic insomnia once I got up to 5,000 steps a day ive started to get a bit more sleep than I have in 11years. Its suitable for the elderly and anyone who suffers from limited mobility and its literally changed my life for the better and I wouldn't give it up for anything now and 100% recommend the Cubii to anyone who is unable to exercise any other way.
