I have never been so embarrassed to say I worked for CTV Moncton for 27 years. My wife and I celebrated our 50th anniversary and looked for forward to see it listed on "CTV Morning Live". Not only did you spell my wife's name wrong you pronounced our names wrong. Not everyone in New Brunswick is French. Richard is pronounced in French but Richards is pronounced in English. If they do not know how to pronounce a name ask someone who does know.

When I get up to watch News in the morning I'm not interested in looking at a lot of leg. I don't know why your new female anchor is wearing a mini skirt? Why can't you dress appropriately for a morning News show this isn't a
cocktail event... Show some class

Their articles, their bias, others have already stated the obvious and it applies to ALL legacy news media sources.
My biggest complaint is with the CTV's IT staff and their inability to post the National news to their own website. They've always been very slow, many hours behind all the other major news sites. Ever since BELL bought out CTV and GUTTED the CTV staff, the gap between actual air broadcast and posting to their own web site & youtube has drastically increased. And many cities NO LONGER have CTV local news at all on weekends.
Today, July 27, 2024, for example, they finally posted last nights National News about an hour ago. Global, CBC, Fox and many more all beat CTV by more than 8 hours. Shane I can’t give them a -5 score.

I typically watch CTV news as my standard. Today I found there was a gaping hole. The Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle was smacked down by U.S Congress and requested to resign over the attempted assassination of Donald Trump. I watched the whole thing happen, but not on CTV, I watched PBS on YouTube because CTV did not air it. The whole time I watching the smack down, CTV aired Biden and Kamala Harris. And after it was over, all CTV had was someone 'talking' about it, CTV didn't take it seriously at all. That shooting makes us all feel unsafe, if a president can't be protected, where does that leave all of us, with all of the shootings going on in Ottawa--it's a free for all. And our local news station doesnt even take attempted suicide of a president seriously enough to air the place where we might get answers on what went wrong. We didn't get answers, but at least someone is being held responsible. Maybe, that will show the people in Canada to take guns and shootings seriously, and show we are protected on the world stage. Obviously the States aren't. I feel CTV failed us here 'big time'. Will Trudeau be next? CTV should have aired the Congress asking for answers from the Director of the Secret Service. It was important to the people who've been following the story in the past week, Shame on CTV for letting personal BIAS shape their programming.

I have watched CTV news since it began. I have to say I am not in favour of all the "improvements" that were made. First of all, reducing CTV News @ 5 from 60 minutes to 30 was the first mistake. Replacing the second half hour with the national news was the second mistake. I wonder how many people are interested in that, particularly when the 6 o'clock news basically repeats everything on the previous 1/2 hour. Moving the "maritimers marking milestones to the morning show was the third mistake. If you are going to do that, at least have the segment on between 8:30 & 9:00 am. And lastly, canceling the weekend news is the fourth mistake. Congratulations, on your "improvements:

I'm watching the Stampede parade and got so tired of Jody Hughes's giggling and Jefferson going along with her. Very annoying and unprofessional. I finally switched to Global and they did a much better job.

They are not paying to the company for app development. They hired 4-5 employees from outsourcing company and now refusing to pay them. Beware of this company as they will not pay you too as an employee and customer too. Thier CEO keep giving date that he will pay next month- next month and till date no payment made.

Donna Sound...sounds as if she is on a heavy dose of sedatives. I can't listen to her.
Ashkay Tondon...irritating accent, ridiculous pronunciation of English language. He reads the news as if English is his his 5th language...can't listen to him.
Stop catering to immigrants. On Canadian news the newscaster needs to speak in a neutral accent.
I'm begging CTV to replace these people. I used to watch CTV News and have switched to a different news station.

I have watched CBC, BBC, CNN, etc. all speak clearly. Only CTV reporters often speak out of control.

CTV app is terrible it doesn’t work on fire tv error message unable to instantiate decoder on everything I choose if it comes on at all

Sporadic reception through any program. Be happier if I didn’t need CTV at all. A major waste of my subscription dollar.

I cannot get ctv+ because you have to give your cable company account number. I am not billed directly by Shaw cable as I live in RV Park and am billed by RV Park not Shaw??? I really want to subscribe HELP!!

Froze every commercial, have to restart the app even the hole system sometimes, no other apps have these kind of problems.

Just watched news and they aired whole three minute rant by Donald Trump in New York. Why do we Canadians need to hear this nonsense for three minutes? Should have been a sound bite

I like your app. But I have to ask the question why are there so many CBC app commercials. It doesn't make sense. If I wanted to watch CBC I would. Please drop them.

CTV App crashes every 4 minutes if not sooner
Absolutely won't play tried to Reinstall no luck , constantly crashing and having to restart makes it impossible to watch

CTV streaming is pretty much the worst streaming service out there. Can stream Netflix, global
, and others with no issues but CTV freezes and cuts out continuously.

I don’t understand why ctv news interviews people who have absolutely nothing interesting that anyone cares about, and the worst part is that they show the segment at noon, 5:00pm and again at 6:00 pm
Also what’s with all the Big Bang theory reruns are they must be getting them at a very cheap price and the same boring commercials over and over and over again. My wife now call it the Big Bang channel

I've never watched a channel with so many commercials! I actually timed a few things and on more than one occasion, 4 ads then a show played for 15 seconds then 4 commercials again. A 42 minute episode has 22 minutes of commercials. It may be free but they could make some money by charging $2-3 for commercial-free. And same ones over and over
