I had a membership years ago and only one time I returned something I bought the day before and I changed my mind, I didn’t even opened and the customer service them gave me so hard time, I told her I didn’t even opened it was for a present, it was all sealed but she opened and opened everything thing inside and then called another person like I was lying and the other told her return it it seems all seal and new. That was a horrible experience. As soon the membership ended I never renovated again like at least for about 10 years or more. In January I decided to give them a try again, and again the customer service and supervisor for returns in the Heartland store did nothing to help me. I tried to exchange some clothes I bought online and I used a coupon from I got the membership and they tried discounted the coupon, I told them I just want to exchange those things because they were too large and they said sorry the coupon is for one time use only and we can’t do anything. I insisted I just wanted to exchanged for the right size so why I will lose almost $30. I asked them to give me a giftcard for the difference and not even the manager wanted to help me. That is a really a good customer service? That it is for me the worse customer service ever, I have never experience so bad customer service in no place. Them the suggested me to call Costco.ca. Did someone have tried ever to call them. That is the worse nightmare ever, it is a recorder after recorder, more recorder and more and more and more it is imposible to talk to them

Purchased a stove with a delivery date of April 27,2024, with a delivery window of 12:40pm-3:40pm. Received a message that I cannot modify the time and that an adult needs to present. I called customer service at approximately 4:08pm on April 27, 2024 and was informed it would be another hour. Why confirm a time window and reiterate, I need to follow through with the time commitment and you don’t. My time is just as valuable as yours.

I bought a Sony smart tv from Costco, within a few months I started having black lines, I tried to return it to Costco they refused to take it back, they gave me sony phone number to call, called they asked a copy of my receipt, my ID, and the tv reference numbe,… than asked me pictures of the tv with the black lines, I took a lots of pictures but they take a few days before answering back, they ask me again for the pictures because they were not clear, they did it like that for so many times until the 1 year warranty expired. 1200$ went just like that.

Costco never disappoints. When I shop there, I don't have to stress about quality or price. Sure, I might find a better deal on sale somewhere else once in a while, but Costco's prices are consistently fair, usually the best. Their approach benefits both the company and us consumers, unlike Wal-Mart's predatory pricing.

I don't use the app because it forces you to share cookies... Cookies give the company all kinds of information on YOU PERSONALLY. I will not accept to share any personal information with and company, PERIOD and I high recommend you refuse them too.
Additionally, I stopped buy food at their snack counter because they refuse to accept cash. A cashless society will be horrible for us ALL.
I do NOT shop at any CASHLESS stores. It is MY choice to use or not use cash.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you NOT buy anything from any company who refuses to accept cash as payment.

Costco Canada Very Inflexible For Delivery Instructions
I recently had the displeasure of talking with Costco customer service regarding adding shipment instructions for a UPS order who is their shipper. Sounds simple right? Wrong! I was informed that they simply don't do this. And yet, with a recent shipment from Uline, calling them to add delivery instructions was a quick and painless affair, and the shipment was received on my end without issue. The reason why I wanted to try doing this with my most recent shipment from Costco is that there is only so much information I can put into the address field of the shipping address and their shipper, UPS, simply hasn't picked up on these extra facts to make for a flawless shipment with no issues. I am so annoyed by this lazy type of customer service that I am considering canceling my membership the next time it comes up for renewal. It's really just Costo's and UPS's policies in place for underservicing the Canadian market that make it so, which shows you how much our patronage is undervalued. The best way forward is to punish companies for poor customer service consistently and throroughly through a lack of business until they get the message!

Buying costco has been such a nightmare, the stove went down in a year, and then the costcos two year hassle free warranty run around starts, first was the miss information that I had to renew my membership which I dont want to get by costco support then I am told no you have to deal with the manufacturer, and then the manufacturer has a third party handling repairs which will not even answer my emails, now I am told to tell the tenant to take a day off and wait for the technician because he will call IN THE MORNING TO GIVE YOU TIME, he will not even give you a appointment a day before that you can plan

Absolutely the rudest person in optical I have come across in a very long time. I have a 5 hour drive to and from the Kamloops location. Was not allowed to purchase the ones I chose and I still do not understand why. Then I get a notice on my cell that my glasses have arrived at the Kamloops location so I called and asked to have them mailed to me and was met with total rude and aggressive attitude, the the girl on the other end said no I will not pay for you shipping charges and I do not take payment over the phone, then she said "What did you think we were going to do with them" I replied, I thought you were mailing them direct to me as you knew I was from out of town. She said you should have made those arrangements at the time you were here, which I thought I had. Clearly there is some customer service courses this girl really needs to enroll in. Now I have to travel 5 hours just to pick up my already over priced glasses.

They have a very poor delivery service if you buy anything online. I bought a TCL television from Costco online, it was meant to be delivered on the third day. The delivery was handled by UPS. UPS came to my apartment but the entrance door was locked, they could not call my line and left without giving any notice of when the television would be delivered.
Terrible customer service
3 months ago I had a baby. So my mom came to visit me. Today we went to Costco Burnaby and bought things for me (meat, bread, my vitamins and clothes for my boy). My mom wanted to come and pay for me, employee came to say that visitora can't use Mastercard just debit. Everything was for me nothing was for her and she couldn't pay on Mastercard? Like what? Was she taking the meat back to her hotel amd ask kitchen to cook for heraelf? She would take a 3months onesie for my 43 year olds brother? She stood there by our cashier IGNORING ALL OTHERS just to make sure that a $150 for ME was being purchased on my card and not my mom's. The whole situation was ridiculous.
Customer service had same behaviour and when I also mentioned that another employee on clothing section was eude, he said "I don't think that was ehat happened", was he there? And he also said "I cannot control other's behavior " what is Customer service for? Nothing right? Why do even bother hiring people for a sector that doesn't do anything?
Am I supposed to go shopping with my baby and not have help then? Whole situation was very ridiculous.
