Easy transaction: new iphone 17e. Really don’t care for replacing a phone that still works, but that’s because I’m old enough to remember when phone companies provided hardware that worked FOREVER. It... See more

I have been a consumer cellular customer for 10 years and I would never change. They have helped me more than I could reasonably expect. Consumer Cellular is us-based and they speak perfect English which is wonderful if you are like me with poor hearing. Their staff is very knowledgeable even beyond routine service setup. I like going into their store for their warm welcome. The customers concern is their first concern. They quickly resolve problems at no extra cost. I can't thank consumer Cellular enough. Clarke

Switched on my own online which was very easy. The only issue was that I ended up with two eSIM’s. When I tried to call out on my cell or in to my cell, it wouldn’t work. I then figured out that I had to deactivate my old eSIM. Once I did that everything worked perfectly.

At first, switching from Verizon to Consumer Cellular was a bit rough going. They'd accidentally mixed up my & my husband's phone numbers/devices. When I'd called to get it straightened out, I got Jean who was immensely helpful, took the time & got everything right. Even though it was after hours by the time we got done, Jean went slow, made sure everything was correct, connected to their network, and working. I work in Customer Service as well, and strive to give the great service I got from Jean to my customers. I wasn't kidding, Jean - when your next performance review comes up, be sure to have your boss contact me!!! You definitely should be honored for your work and deserve a raise!!!

My main complaint is with your online chat. I needed help transferring from my android to iPhone and while they were trying to help, my session “timed out” 3 times which means I had to talk to 3 different people and go back over the same issue again and again and we got NO where. So needless to say, nothing was transferred to my iPhone.

Move over from ATT and was surprised at the level of support provided. ATT was not very helpful with things that had to happen to allow me to transfer service. Kept trying to sell, sell, sell. CC agents walked me through the process and made sure I had resolved everything prior to leaving the store. They even worked past closing to get things completed. KUDOS to th team!

Very knowledgeable and helpful customer service, as usual. New phone set up and running with no problems.

Wanted to switch back after my trial contract ended with another company, but you have to call from a completely different phone line for that, which I don't have access to. I wasn't given any other options, and the customer service agent was almost argumentative! Disappointing....

I have been with Consumer Cellular for quite a few years and I am still surprised by the level of their customer service and support. Their cellular service is great, their plans are simple with no convoluted terms. If you have to call, you talk to a real person who speaks English without an accent. I switched to another cellular service a few years ago for what I thought was a great deal. In a matter of weeks I was back with Consumer Cellular. It just doesn’t get any better.

Even though I had to have two different people work on my changing carriers, it was my previous carrier who was the problem. One of the CC people did what they could, but the other carrier dropped the ball. The next day a different CC person was able to escalate to a supervisor (of the other carrier) to finish the change in carriers.

Phone service is great. Took a day to get the phone working. Not a fan of the incresed unsolicited sales calls.

When I called I didn't have to talk to AI or listen to 3 different options to talk to a real person. I received help from a live person. The process of activating my new phone was simple with the help of customer service and the person on the other end spoke clear english, so was easy to understand. When I tell friends how little I pay for my phone service they are amazed.

They made it very easy to switch. Very nice people to talk to and they saved me a bunch of money. I am on a fixed income and needed a cheaper service. Plus it pays to be over the age of 50 because they give you a good good rate. I'm very pleased so far!

It took awhile To determine that my new Moto Phone did not have an eSim card but I made a call and a very smart Customer Service person picked up on it right away. She shipped me out a sim card, I got it right away and my new phone works great.

The positive professional manner and attitude of the CC Team is noteworthy and admired.
However, the grossly oversimplified instructions to activate and transfer data from the phone I am replacing to my new Apple 17e, purchased from CC is NOT appreciated or well received. For the better part of two days I’ve been trying to set up my new phone and struggling to make it happen effectively.
I’ve already called the help Team once and though they helped me…with a positive and helpful attitude… I still am NOT satisfied that my new phone is working properly. Of course the initial setup and transfer process has rendered my old phone useless…except as a boat anchor…so I’m left unsatisfied and frustrated.

Transferred my service in less than 1/2 hour. Very professional staff and my new rate is 1/2 of my old service.

The staff at the store was the most helpful, patient, attentive that I have experienced in a long time. I worked in customer service for 20+ years & I have to say the service provided to us was excellent & made shopping & buying 2 new phones and pleasant experience. The anxiety of learning, coming from a flip phone to a smart phone was made very easy, relaxed & enjoyable.
My hats off to the team at the MacArthur Rd. Store Whitehall.

This was by far the easiest time I have EVER had transitioning between phones.
