Five stars for the second person; 2 stars for first person. I couldn't unlock my phone or make calls. I called support; was guided through different things to do. Finally was told I would need to go to nearest store which is 90 miles away. I kept trying the phone and got it unlocked but still couldn't make calls. The next day I spoke with a very nice and patient lady. She had me do a few things to the phone and got the phone working. She was so nice to this 80 year lady and I really appreciate it. I have had CC since 2014 and have never had a problem like this. I will blame that on age, also.

Did have to call customer support on a few occasions to port my mother's number and getting voicemsil the way we wanted it they were always very kind informative and helpful

A simple phone upgrade so I can use a specific app. The phone works to make and receive phone calls. I still have not been able to move any data from the old phone or install the needed app. However, my plan has already been "upgraded" from 512Mb to 1Gb to 3Gb due to exceeding data limits. WHAT data limits.? I have made ONE two minute phone call and still can not transfer data from the old phone or install the app (not CCs fault). I do not understand why these two Samsung phones can not transfer data directly (I do NOT have WiFi at home 2-1/2 miles up the mountain).
You probably won't get this feedback because I can not access Google/gMail/..

The switch to CC was so easy and fast! I spoke to a person to switch my service and send me my new phone. My phone came faster than expected. I then called the number they gave me to get everything set up. Both of these two phone calls combined, maybe 30 minutes. Both of these two people I spoke to were so amazing and explained everything, answered my questions and were so nice. I am blown away. I cannot recommend this company more…. Just do it.

I ordered a new Samsung Galaxy S26 phone. I couldn't get the online system to indicate that it was a pay per month order so I called customer service. That person was helpful and informed me I had to click the Easy Pay Option. The phone order went through very quickly after that. I must say that it took longer than I expected or would have liked for the phone to arrive. About 5 days. Price was good for the phone and I can pay down quicker via Easy Pay if I wish.

I needed to replace my old cell phone, so decided to upgrade. I went online to my account, looked at the offerings and made my selection. Placed my order, received a confirmation with cost information, and later the shipping information. Arrived as stated. I did call support as I need my eSIM activated, got the phone up and running. Excellent support and wonderful communication with the shipping .

We have been customers of CC for over 10 years and have had no problems that were not solved very timely. We upgrade often and have no problem changing phones. Have no intention of ever change Carriers.

This company has disconnected my 5 yrs old smartphone from their network to push me for phone update giving me ridiculous excuses. They did it without prior warning, just invalidated sim card while continuing to collect my payments. That made me a lot of hassles to talk to them for resolution and eventually switch to other service provider. Porting phone number from them was also a lot of pain. After switching to other provider the same smartphone works well using the same T-mobile network as Consumer Cellular does use. Be aware: if they do that to you it does not mean you MUST buy new phone or sim card, they just want to rip you off!!!

Was with them for over 10yrs. Customer service become a nightmare, when leaving they didn’t want to release my number and ph…just a horrible company in the end
In top of that they charged me two months and had to dispute and get my money back.
FTC complaint and they never answered, so they know what they are doing

It was easy ordering a new phone and adding a line to our account, Customer Service is the best we have encountered in all types of services. Our phone has been delayed in shipping, which is not the problem of Consumer Cellular, but the carrier. That is the only slight inconvenience we have encountered--and it isn't a problem. We are so pleased with our relationship with Consumer Cellular.

Pretty easy to select and buy a new phone. Prices seemed to be in line with other carriers for IPhone 17e. I did go to Target first which is listed as a CC retailer but that was a waste of time.

I received a new iPhone 17 for my wife. I got a new iPhone 16 Max about a year ago. At that time I used customer service and set up my phone. This time around I was thinking for my wife’s new phone setup would the same setup. We received written instruction on how to setup my wife’s iphone and a complete activation on my own and downloaded all data off my wife’s old iphone to her new iPhone without the use of customer service. So I was able to do it all as self service. So excellent instructions. Thanks.

The phone works well. The downside is my wife was without a phone for 6 days. We are both elderly so a phone is a necessary item.

My older iphone was having issues, so I started to research a new one. I did have a few questions, and the person that I talked to really seemed interested and was able to answer my questions without putting me on hold. I have been a consumer cellular customer for quite a while now, and whenever I have had a question they were always able to help me.

I ordered a Galaxy 26 phone from CC. I do like my phone so far.
I ordered a Gadget Guard Glass protector for $28, along with my Galaxy 26 phone. When I put the glass protector on my phone, I saw that it was a thin piece of plastic and worth about 10 cents! I contacted CC and was told they couldn't get me a refund because it was from another company. What a rip off!
