I made the mistake of attempting to apply for my son‘s CSCS card in a hurry, I clicked on the first website after googling ‘apply for CSCS card’. Within a minute of paying I realised my mistake - they had asked for payment without asking for any certificates etc - this company is purely a middle man. Then I realised quite how much extra they were charging - almost double to the actual cost of the card when you apply direct on the official websites. I am more than capable of applying direct and do not need to pay someone to help me!
I then rang straightaway asking to cancel the transaction. I was initially told there was a £24 cancellation fee as they were ‘processing it’. After saying I would cancel my card he then checked with the management and he agreed to reduce this to £10. I then got a confirmation email saying as a goodwill gesture they would only charge the £10.
As I was just relieved to get most of my money back and as I didn’t know what my legal rights were, I agreed and they did honour the refund.
In short, if you need help with the tech ask a friend or family member or if you have any problems go straight to the official sites you will save yourself a lot of money!

After falling into a little bit of a dilemma when trying to purchase my Managers and professional CSCS card, I accidentally chose the Professionally qualified persons (PQP) card instead of the Academically qualified persons card. Once I had realised what I had done, I naturally panicked as, I had already paid the full amount of £65. I reached out to William jones of Construction CSCS support team who switched the PQP back over to my AQP application process almost immediately. William had made it all a very pleasant experience with good results very efficiently.

If I could give one star I would. Didn’t realise that this company was not the official company and paid £65 for my CSCS card. I needed to take the L1 Health and Safety test which I did and sent the certificate on the same day. 2 days later when I contacted CSCS direct to ask what was happening, they said my application was in draft because the payment had not been made. As I needed the card to work, I had no choice but to pay again. When contacting CSW they had the audacity to send me a screenshot of my card telling me the application had been made!! It had been made by me not them!! I am now down £100 when it should only have cost me £36 and CWS aren’t replying to my request for a refund as they have done NOTHING!! Avoid at all costs and go through the official CSCS website

Book your test through CITB and CSCS official websites. It is £50 cheaper all in all. Tried to cancel within 5 minutes of me booking and wanted to charge me a £44 cancellation fee as they had "already started processing" yet noone was available to answer the phone. The customer service was good with Ella, she tried her best to resolve and was only taking her manager's directions. Spoke to the manager and only decided to give me a full refund when i said i will reverse the payment through my bank and mentioned the consumers protection act. Emailed me saying it was an act of good will... Terrible business, do not use.

St problem was lack of comunication and the fact u were wanting me to fix the issues though they were not made by me i paid u to get my card it was up to u to fix the issues not me thats what i paid for not for me to do all the work
