What awesome service! A new camera had been announced for release just before my holiday - contacted Clifton who were super helpful and arranged for shipping on day of release in time for my holidays - fastest camera slingers on the web! ☺️

Bought a smart telescope which got damaged on delivery by the courier.
Clifton cameras were always there at the end of the phone to solve the problem and issue a replacement.
Will 100% use again in the future

Placed an order (£399) that the website said was in stock, on a Monday with a next day delivery - expecting Thursday/Friday delivery.

Friday afternoon after no response I emailed asking where it was and was told that they’re currently waiting for the item via their supplier. I ordered specifically because it was in stock and for a birthday present. Not ideal.
Communication was good, just waiting for a refund!

Purchased the Fujinon TS-L 2040 binoculars, which have simply exceeded my expectation. And despite being an online order, received great help from Owen over the phone beforehand, and ensured I received before I went away.

I previously left a glowing review of the store for a previous purchase for the staff going above and beyond, but this fresh new help has eclipsed even that stellar customer service experience.

I had a long issue with a return exchange, but I have to give a massive salute to Simon, the manager at Clifton Cameras, for his exceptional support in a quite distressing situation.

Simon worked hard to sort out a replacement for me and liaised with me throughout the day, keeping me in the know.As a disabled photographer, being without my primary lens is incredibly tough, so this was so reassuring to both know and feel Simon had my back and was helping resolve my situation.

Ordered a pair of Leica binoculars at lunchtime on Friday, and they were delivered at 07:40 on Saturday. Well packaged for transit and carefully marked “Fragile”. All-round great service - highly recommend this dealer and would use them again without hesitation.

I was looking at ordering a Smart Telescope as a present for my husband. I read and watched lots of reviews online and once I had decided which telescope I wanted I googled suppliers. Clifton Cameras was one of several suppliers that were listed.
I found their website very clear and easy to use. They had the telescope I wanted in stock and had a good offer on the price. They also allowed the customer to pay via PayPal, which is my preferred choice.
I signed up for emails and completed the payment and checked out without a problem.
However, when I opened my emails to check the confirmation I discovered that I had been sent a £10 voucher off my first purchase!
I emailed Clifton Cameras and explained what had happened, not really expecting that anything would happen but I had a very swift response from Owen in the Sales Department, saying that they would refund me £10 on my purchase!
I was delighted.
Postage was free and I had another email informing me that my telescope had been despatched, all within a couple of hours of my purchase.
I have been very pleased by their customer services, the swiftness of the dispatch of my order and the excellent communication that I have received from them, throughout the whole process.
I would definitely recommend them to friends and family and should I need any more purchases of this type in the future, Clifton Cameras will be my first port of call.

I am not good with names, however I was dealt with by 2 superb members of staff, one who kept finding different straight spotting scopes for me to look at and if I had the money would have probably walked away with the Swarovski Scope. Friendly, helpful and superb customer service. Highly recommended

The item I ordered was delivered in less than 24hrs of ordering, with their standard delivery. It came well packed with plenty of protection inside of the stiff cardboard box

After an initial bank problem while attempting to purchase a new Zeiss scope on line, a very helpful young lady; who has a lot at patience helped me through the purchase. The service I received was exemplary, I received my new scope the next day, well packed.

Went into the Cheltenham branch asking to compare a whole host of binoculars. Jonathan was informative and great. He let me try several different models, listened to my purpose of use and made a really good recommendation. I walked out with exactly what I needed and they even price matched to the price I found online. Perfect service.

I really should have left a review about Clifton Cameras long before now. I bought my first DSLR from them in 2018 and since then if Clifton Cameras have the photographic equipment I want, in stock, I buy it from them. Each time I have purchased equipment from them I have found their service efficient, friendly and their advice is knowledgeable. On the couple occasions that I have encountered issues with goods (neither due to Clifton Cameras themselves) they resolved them quickly and with the minimum of inconvenience to me. Having recently purchased more equipment from them I found that nothing has changed. I highly recommend Clifton Cameras

I chose this company because their price for the Seestar was very competitive. There was a glitch with the delivery but they resolved it quickly and kept me updated throughout the process. The customer service team were very helpful and friendly as well as efficient in making sure I got my Seestar. All I need now is a clear sky.

Top class service and products. Exemplary service from Clifton Cameras, great product (OM 90mm F3.5 Macro) at a very competitive price (and not a grey import as many online retails seem to supply). Posted promptly, well packaged and received exactly as expected. I contacted customer service a couple fo times regarding the item and accessing OM Summer cash-back and the response was swift, polite and actioned perfectly. Highly recommended and will happily buy from again.
