STAY AWAY FROM CLEAR VIEW !!!
The job started on my porch on 11th November after getting promised it would be completed by Christmas , it’s 30th January today and still not completed.
We’ve been getting ingored by the project manager Paul for over 3 weeks now , he is well aware that my porch is full of mold and even the new front door is rusted now.
This company is so unprofessional and really bad communication well no communication from anyone at all and all they do is pass the book into someone else
Don’t waste your money with this joke of a company
I have perviously complained and nobody gets back to you to discuss this.
Once they get your orders that’s it just get left !!!!

They were always helpful and professional. They were happy to come back to just alter the door for us and there were no problems with getting in touch. Nothing was too much trouble and we love the refurbishment of our conservatory with roof with 2 windows giving more light. The room is used much more and was great over Christmas with the Christmas tree!!! Definitely would recommend Clearview.

£38,000 pound lighter and a massive hole in my home. The have been trying to fix a leak that was reported 2 month after the completion of the project. They have been trying to fix this for 5 years, yes that right 5 years, and they call themself highly skilled. They lie to your face, like when the did not show up, because my job got mixed up, wait for this, with a guy who had the same name as me, who had the same conservatory built, had the same issue as me and live only 2 mile away...... really? winning the lottery is easier. Thye then come to you house and explain to you about how they will test the fault with a probe, the advised that anything below 20 is condensation anything else is a leak. It read 27, now apparently filling a hole with insulation will fix the leak issue as confirmed by their own probe test, but over night its changed to condensation. How does that work?
Customer service is garbage, i really cannot sum that up in any other way.
They uses cheap as chips contractors who really do not care about the standard they do the job to.
Honestly if you take any thing from this, avoid them at all costs, I am now in the process of perusing them thought the courts as i have just had enough of their incomitance.
PS, they agreed Phil hue bulbs in the contract for the conservatory, the then tried to palm me off with TEMU specials, had a fight to get them to fulfil what was in the written contract. This is what you are dealing with save your money and your sanity stay well well away.
It is worth know that under the consumer law you can fully reject their product up to 6 years after install for poor service and not of satisfactory quality which is what my team will be arguing in court as it taken them 5 years and still no guaranteed fix.
UPDATE to Clearviews response
This is the sort of customer service you can expect from the head of customer service. Food for thought before handing your money over. Rather concerning it took this company 5 years to notice there was no insulation, and you want to trust them with most peoples largest assets? why would they fit 2 cavity trays if one did not fail?
Also take a look at a response further down by elaine tyrer, she also suffered with no insulation, seems to be a patter in ClearView's modus operandi and very telling how they treat Reasonable Care and Skill when perfuming work, which is protected under section 49 of the consumer right act 2015, and can invalidated the clauses on the back of their contract, worth noting maybe
UPDATE 2
Clearview fix did not last a week, all they have done is move the leak from one side of the opening to the other. shame i cant upload photos for you to see.
Dear Mr
We would like to reassure you that your property has not been left in a vulnerable or unsafe condition. The internal area exposed during our investigation is protected and does not present any risk of rain ingress or further damage. The cavity is not externally open and there is no route for water penetration.
Following our attendance yesterday, our engineers have confirmed that the issue was caused by condensation. Once sections of internal plasterboard were removed, it was evident that the affected area had not been insulated during the original installation. This resulted in cold spots and draughts at the lintel, which over time caused minor internal staining. The area has now been fully insulated, resolving the issue. We can also confirm that this was not the result of a cavity tray failure.
The team have arranged for a plasterer to reinstate the removed dot-and-dab plasterwork and re-skim the affected area. This has been confirmed for today, Wednesday 7 January 2026.
With regard to the flooring, we reiterate that we do not accept responsibility. As discussed on site, damage was already present in the centre of the room and was confirmed to be unrelated to our works. Our involvement was limited solely to investigative and remedial works to the wall construction.
Regarding your request for compensation, we must confirm that none will be provided in relation to the defect identified. We apologise for the prolonged timescale, which was necessary to thoroughly investigate and rule out external causes while avoiding unnecessary invasive works internally.
We hope this clarifies the findings, the actions taken, and our position. We remain committed to completing the outstanding plastering promptly and bringing the matter to a satisfactory conclusion. Your guarantee remains in place, and we thank you for your cooperation during the inspection of the internal areas. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I had an emergency call on boxing duty and Camel from the Peterborough branch was absolutely amazing, Carmel came back the next day as promised and even went as far as going into the office on Monday to help Chelsea sort out my hinges . Chelsea rang me that morning and told me that they had ordered the hinges. They are an asset to the company and I would like to thank them both for their service and their support.

We were happy with the end result but it was not a smooth ride.the people who did the base work and the bricklayer were not professional at all ,they either didn’t turn up or arrived very late,we were constantly on the phone to the project manager.the people who did the roof, the plasterer and the electrician were great.the people who chipped out for the roof let a lot of the insulation out of the cavity wall and we had to push to get it fixed.we waited three weeks to get the outside tidied up ,the project manager just kept fobbing us off,and he only showed up once the whole time.when you go to the showroom they come across all singing and dancing but we feel it was more like a backstreet karaoke.would not recommend them to friends or family.

Clearview are always responsive and arrive on the arranged date. Their team are knowledgeable and it's great to be able to talk to a person instead of a Bot! Have used them for years, very reliable.

We received a few quotes for a conservatory upgrade and although Clearview were at the top end we felt sure they would deliver a high quality, professional service….and we weren’t disappointed. From the design to the installation and the finishing touches everything was extremely well organised and we were always kept informed and updated throughout. All of the trade professionals were skilled, knowledgeable and friendly and completed the work with minimum fuss. We were really impressed and love the finished product.

We have been let down.
We have had many delays which some are unavoidable (the foundations) but others due to sickness, not levelling the floor (not our fault) causing severe delays and stress.
On top of that the communication has been appalling. The PM doesn't know the meaning of the acronym

Reply from Clearview Home Improvements
Very frustrating dealing with this company. We're in the final stages of the project and communication is poor. The PM never answers his phone and is slow to respond to most emails. When our new extension floor was laid I expressed concern that it was not level with the house floor, but was assured it was, as it "Had been done by laser". Today the tiler comes to start the job and advises me that the floor isn't level and isn't even within tolerance and no one can come till Monday, when the tiler wants to start laying the tiles. The product, although not finished, looks good, but communication and action is poor. If you go with these guys 'Be prepared!'

Exceptional aftercare service to replace a broken window, even when out of warranty. Friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for a new installation or aftercare

Reply from Clearview Home Improvements
We were very pleased with the response from Clearview Home Improvements when we had a problem with two of our existing windows fitted some time ago. Upon first contact every effort was made to resolve the issue, resulting in two new windows at no cost to ourselves. From first contact with Barry, the Aftercare Manager, through to the two fitters on installation day, I can’t praise Clearview enough for its customer commitment and service, especially as our problem occurred 9 years into a ten year guarantee. Other companies often aren't interested once the initial job has been completed and paid for. It was very refreshing to receive such prompt and efficient service. I can't praise Clearview enough and would highly recommend them

Faultless.
From initial meeting, through measurements, quotation, to supply and fitting, the whole process has been excellent.
The quality of the products is superb, safe, strong and good looking.
The fitters were very clean and efficient, leaving a great product for us to enjoy.
The price was very reasonable.
Thanks ☺️

Excellent service from start to finish

We recently had a roof window repair to a smashed pane due to thermal shock (very unusual occurrence), which was originally built 9 years ago, and we couldn’t be more impressed as they came out later the same day, cleared up the glass pieces and made the pane safe until replacement pane received. The workmanship is outstanding-our orangery genuinely looks just as good as the day it was first completed. It’s rare to see that level of lasting quality.
What truly sets Clearview apart, though, is their exceptional after sales service. They were prompt, professional and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. It’s reassuring to deal with a team that stands by their work even years down the line (20 years guarantee).
Highly recommended-fantastic service from start to finish.
