Disappointed in Clearview when bought a new door in April 2025
We bought a new door in April last year from Clearview. At the time of purchase they never said that we have to slam the door shut to close it, if they had, we would not of bought it in the first place.
The engineers have been out 4 times now including yesterday's visit. The door will not close properly so we have to slam it shut but sometimes it opens on it's own when we are not near after we have shut and locked it, which is not what i would call a security door.
The engineer came yesterday and he said we could do with a smaller draft excluder because it was stopping the door from closing without slamming it shut. He also said it is a slam door that has to slam to shut which they never mentioned when we bought it, which is how we have to close it all the time even at 12 in the morning when my son comes home from work.
We had a phone call today where the engineer said it was working as it should, which is not true as doors don't open on their own and if I had to choose again, Clearview would be my last choice.
I'm doing this review hoping it stops people making the same mistakes as we have.

Excellent after sales service.
Excellent service. Contacted service team for adjustment on door hinges, an engineer was out same day to adjust. Can’t fault the after sales service. We used them twice. Once to build an extension to replace an old conservatory, and due to the quality of workmanship we gave them the work to replace all windows and doors. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic service
We had a sun room built by cearview 8 years ago and can honestly not recommend them enough, their service has been exceptional at every point.
I recently contacted them due to a glass panel misting inside. They quickly arranged an appointment to come and replace the glass. The new panel was ordered and fitted within 2 weeks.

Clearview - Front Door - Recommendation
We had our front door replaced by Clearview recently and we were able to have a 'wider' than normal door size which wasn't on offer with any other installer. We have had a very positive experience from start to finish and we love our new front door.

The whole experience was made stress free thanks to Steve the Project Manager who kept in touch throughout.

We had a great service from clearview especially the project manager Steve he saw the whole thing through from start to finish.
We was surprised how quickly they did my extension 3.5 from start to finish.
I would definitely recommend this company for sure. It's a 10/10 from me.

We are delighted with the finished conservatory and pleased we approached Clearview to buy it from.
We have found everyone involved with the project, from Paul who sold it to us, the other Paul who project managed it and all the tradesmen who fitted the various parts, to be very professional, skilled, open and friendly. They made the process a pleasure.

Well, you hear horror stories when having extension work done... The experience we have had with Clearview and their whole to has been far from that! 5 Star service
Clearview Windows in Leyland have been superb from start to finish. We had all our doors and windows fitted some time ago, and more recently we experienced an issue with one of the products. I rang Clearview and spoke with Tim, who quickly found our records and dealt with the problem swiftly and without any fuss.
The doors and windows themselves are excellent quality, and while they may be a little more expensive than some others, it’s absolutely worth paying extra for the quality and the outstanding after-sales service. I would happily recommend Clearview to anyone considering new windows or doors.
