I'm pleased I completed an IVA but I didn't realise how much of the money received Cleardebt would keep for themselves and not pass into the creditors.

Also they insisted I apply for any PPI before I completed my IVA and offered the first £500, it looks like this will not be paid to me.

If you're thinking about going into an IVA go and seek advice from a debt charity or the Citizen Advice Centre.

Shocking company who lead you up the country path. I bet they do not make this public

IVA with cleardebt has made my life very comfortable. Prior to IVA I was depress with all the mails and calls from my lenders and sometimes I couldn't sleep proper. Since my IVA has been approved all those calls and letters has been stopped and I am paying my contribution to IVA and completing my IVA time. Highly recommended as everything was dealt with professionally and i was kept informed with all the updates through mails and phone.

Only interested on their own benefits and you still feel stressed by them

At times when I've had problems producing the required documents in time the ClearDebt staff have always been very understanding and helpful. They are friendly so I've never felt intimidated or anything.

If youre having money troubles then doi what i did mate.Contact cleardebt.I did and within 30 minutes i felt a great weight lifted off my shoulders.I had money in my pocket for the first time in a long while.Nobody contacting me after their money and finally managing to sleep at night.The pressure was off.Do it now.

I approached Cleardebt when my finances spiralled out of control, I chose them because of the good reviews I had seen online.
The reviews turned out to be accurate, they done a great job, and they were very helpful and understanding.
A friend found himself in a similar predicament one year after I had seemed help from this company and I did not hesitate to put their name forward, he also currently has an I.V.A with them too.

I had a car on Lease/Buy they refused to accept it and insisted that it was on HP Terms. Even when I produced the paperwork they refused to accept it was Lease/Buy and insisted I could re-negotiate the HP Terms. This was because under an IVA I could not have a car on Lease/Buy. Unlike them I am honest and refused to renege on an arrangement I had agreed to.

Totally unacceptable behaviour

It was late September, My debts had spiraled out of control for one reason or another,
Interest was being added to them & it just got to a point of frustration. I tried to pay my debts, but started to struggle, I considered bankruptcy in May but still wasn't sure that it was the right route for me. I found Clear Debt on line. I made an initial tentative inquiry, within a short space of time, I received a call from Kevin, he was so helpful & put me at ease straight away. We discussed my various options & he gave me a chance to ask questions & decide which one would be right for me. He put me through to Mike who once more was so supportive with his information, he referred me to one of their local agents, Simon, who had a chat with me, collected required paperwork from me & sent it through to Clear Debt.
The next couple of weeks, I was contacted by Mike & Sam, they were so proactive & supportive they really worked hard for me & contacted my local Council along with my Creditors. I had another visit from Simon & finally a call from Adam.
This all happened within a Month, between them, they have been professional, clear, accurate, sticking to timescales & supportive. They have been amazing, if I had thought that taking on an IVA was as smooth as this, I would have done it sooner.
I now have peace of mind, knowing i can manage my monthly re-payments I have the support of Clear Debt behind me.
I cannot recommend them enough, they really know their business.

I was in a debt management course and after thinking about it clear headed realised i would not be clear of debt till i was dead and buried so I looked around for a solution. One day i got a call from a company called cleardebt and all the cotton wool in my head was suddenly removed, a solution at last and one that would see me clear of debt in five years and with the added bonus of being friendly. getting your help with my debt has helped me tremendously and i can now sleep and want to wake up in the morning where as before i didn,t see the point of going through another day with stress and worries

They take everything on board and couldn't be more friendly, helpful and take the weight off. Thoughtful and want to ease the debt burden. I don't get any hassle as they deal with everyone and keep in touch incase there's any more they can do. I referred a friend and it's made their life better too. Would recommend.

An IVA is affordable and only takes 5-6 years to complete. Much better than the open-ended agreement I had with the previous Debt Management company that had no clear timeline. It would have gone on forever and all the time they were charging me for the service. Now I have a clear timeline and the end is actually in sight.
