The great VIP Swindle!
I would like to complain about the VIP tickets.
This was the worse vip I have ever experienced, I feel totally ripped off and embarrassed as I was entertaining important clients.
I purchased 4 premium vip standing tickets with the understanding we would be standing for the gig but have the advantages of being closer to the stage. You delivered on this, albeit the beverage prices and availability close to the stage was limited and double the price for a small tin compare to the vip marquee.
My main complaint is the lack of seating in and around the marquee, in short there was not any comfortabke seating at all as advertised, we were expected to sit on the floor inside and outside the vip area. What made this even worse was the fact you could not even take chairs into the venue. A further complecation is that I am disabled and that was not catered for in the marquee or surrounding area.
I qustioned the lack of seats with a supervisor and he told me, the night before , for the Justin Timberlake gig, the marquee was filled with sofas , tables and comfy chairs, he stated there was 500 chairs and tables in a tent behind the venue but they were told to empty the marquee so they could cram more people in and sell more tickets.
I am experienced at buying this level of vip tickets, and this has been my worse experience by far, I feel ripped off. I will be going public on social media and local news, you have blocked comments on your face book page, that says it all! I will gladly share my photos with you.
In short I paid an additional £130 to stand in a big marquee and get a little closer to the stage, totle rip off. I feel ticket master should partially refund my ticket prices as these tickets were not fit for purpose and not as advertised on Chelmsford Live Website, over sold and did not cater for blue badge holder within the vip area.Shocking. The parking was also rubbish bit did manage to get out quicker than the customers on the prvious night.
