Avoid this place at all costs!!!

I regret choosing this company for two diploma courses in aesthetic practice. A very negative experience overall.

At first, none of the staff have any real medical qualifications, which is very concerning, especially considering that the school is named the Centre for Medical Sciences & Research.
They have nothing to do with science or research!
Like many others, I was deceived by their name and advertising. They use it to appear trustworthy and give themselves a sense of credibility.
When you arrive, you quickly realise that the photos on their advertisements showing clean classrooms full of students are AI-generated and completely misleading. The reality is very different: dirt, no heating, and old, broken equipment.
Once they have your money, things go downhill, with classes being cancelled at the last minute.
The standard of teaching is poor, far below even basic expectations. Classes that are supposed to run from 10am to 5pm are, in reality, only about three hours long and feel very rushed.
The staff’s approach is disrespectful - if you request clarification or raise a concern, you are simply ignored.
Another thing is that before classes even begin, students are required to carry heavy tables out of the room and replace them with treatment beds.
None of the staff showed any interest in whether any student had a physical disability.
I purchased two courses for over £4000 but decided to resign at the very beginning due to these conditions.
THEY didn’t provide me with any invoices or receipts after my payment!

Centre for Medical Sciences & Research refund me for my unused courses!!!
They are refusing to refund my money and ignoring several of my calls and emails.
I will now have to take legal action, adding unnecessary stress and difficulty, especially as I work full-time.
This situation could have been handled much more professionally, but instead, it has become frustrating and time-consuming.
Avoid this place at all costs!!!

CFMSR does not accept this review. We consider it to contain serious false and defamatory factual allegations about our staff, premises, equipment, course delivery, communications, payments and refund handling.

Because this concerns a former learner’s private enrolment, payment, training and assessment records, we cannot address those records in detail on a public platform. However, we strongly dispute the allegations and our records do not support the account given.

A formal Letter of Claim / Letter Before Action has been sent under the Media and Communications Pre-Action Protocol requiring removal or correction of the false factual allegations and undertakings against repetition. I recently completed the Phlebotomy…

I recently completed the Phlebotomy Competence Assessment at the London Medical School location and had a very positive experience. I am proud to say I now hold a CPD-accredited qualification.

I want to give a massive thank you to Julia for going above and beyond to support my requests and make the process easy. A special thanks also to my trainer, Oama. She was incredibly knowledgeable and supportive throughout the practical day. I tend to ask a lot of questions, and she always listened and offered great advice. Most importantly, when I needed to take a break and things were too much to handle, she listened and reassured me that I was doing a good job. That level of support really gave me the confidence I needed.

The practical element of this course is excellent,t and I would highly recommend it. While the online training could use an update, it still covers all the relevant information on ANTT, infection control, PPE use, the correct tubes to use, and how to ensure patient safety.

I am really looking forward to seeing where this course takes me in securing a job. Thanks again to the team at the Centre for Medical Sciences & Research!

Great

“I completed my Level 5 Qualifi at this medical training school, and I must emphasise that it was among the best institutions I have encountered in terms of standards, teaching quality, staff, syllabus, and assessment design. I later returned for multiple CPD courses, as it was simply outstanding.”

I had an excellent experience with Oana…

I had an excellent experience with Oana during my phlebotomy course on Saturday 10.01.2926.
She is incredibly calm and explains everything with exceptional clarity, especially when it comes to medical terminology, which made learning much easier and far less intimidating.

Oana creates a supportive and positive learning environment, and her good sense of humour keeps the sessions engaging and enjoyable.

She is clearly very passionate about her work, and that passion really shows in the way she teaches and supports her students.

Thanks to her guidance and dedication, every student in my group passed with flying colours. I couldn’t have asked for a better tutor and would highly recommend Oana to anyone considering a phlebotomy course.

Her support gave me confidence and motivation, and she absolutely deserves recognition for the amazing work she does.

On April 11

On April 11, 2025, I participated in a hands-on session called Urethral Catheterisation, organized by the Center for Medical Science and Research. The workshop commenced promptly, led by an instructor who was highly knowledgeable about the latest procedural advancements. The session effectively addressed updates in aseptic methods and the medico-legal aspects relevant to secondary care in the UK. The facilitators were extremely helpful and provided a certificate of attendance as soon as the workshop concluded. Overall, my experience was immensely rewarding, as I enhanced my skills and understanding by practicing with various medical devices under expert guidance.

Fantastic Phlebotomy Experience

I’ve really enjoyed the phlebotomy work experience programme at London Medical School. Stefania has been an outstanding teacher – instructive, engaging, and fun to work with. The environment is welcoming and enjoyable, and the team are all lovely and conversational, which makes learning even more comfortable.

I’ve had plenty of time to work on simulations before practicing live draws on volunteers, and I’ve seen a huge improvement in my skills in just a few days. I highly recommend this programme to anyone interested in phlebotomy or clinical skills – it’s well-structured, supportive, and a genuinely rewarding experience.

I would say it was a very beautiful…

I would say it was a very beautiful experience being that it was my very first time of trying to draw blood from a mannequin not to talk of a human being ( Volunteer and consent was sought) I was a bit nervous but my accessors really are so so welcoming and helpful. They were always smiling while guiding me which helped me with building up confidence faster and also able to learn calmly. I would definitely recommend to Family and Friends
