The people that work for this website …

The people that work for this website are deranged lunatics and the comments are just as deranged. Please stay away from this website as it will make you bitter and distort your view with the constant onslaught of repetitive junk. They not anything other than a couple of stupid nobodies with a keyboard.

Interesting balanced site

Interesting site because it is fairly balanced on covering various topics, not always royals. I notice some of the reviewers call Kaiser racist because s/he does not denigrate Meghan and Harry. I think the naysayers here may be biased, but I am sure they would tell you it's implicit bias.
Now, they know.

What happened to celebitchy

What happened to celebitchy? this used to be fun and harmless, was my go to site from 2011! I'd be on there twice a day at least, switching between it and dlisted! but around 2019 it started to get sort of mean girl on Kate The now Princess of Wales.. it stepped up in 2020 and became a daily anti royal (anyone in the royal family that wasn't harry and meghan) site. As someone that lives in England it was annoying to see the Jubillee labelled the Jubbly etc. Now can't move for Royal stories and there's never any celeb content.
should be rebranded "Royalbitchy" and be done with it.
What they'll do it Harry and Meghan ever split I don't know...

Used to be fun celeb site. Now dedicated anti Royal Family & Fundamentalist pro Harry & Meghan

I used to LOVE this site circa 2012/2013. It was my go to for a bit of cheeky celeb goss. There was already a very much anti Kate Middleton narrative. But now it’s just a non stop openly hate site for people to spread salacious lies about Kate, William, Camilla & Charles. I’m no big royal fan. But I think calling people Cowmilla, KKKhate, Prince of Pegging and W anK is a hate crime. The site should be taken down and their Amazon Advertisers notified

Royals-obsessed mean girls club

I used to like this site and visited it almost daily for years. Unfortunately it has slowly devolved into a royals-obsessed mean girls club where you are chewed out for voicing a dissenting opinion.
The sad thing is that I'm overall quite aligned with their political views and appreciated their covid coverage, but I also like reading different opinions and this echo-chamber (with simplistic stances such as if you don't like M Markle you are just a racist) just isn't an entertaining read anymore.

This site is nothing more than a Meghan…

This site is nothing more than a Meghan and Harry fan club, which, ok…but NO ONE is allowed to voice a difference of opinion against them. Your comment will not get posted. The sycophants in this site are vicious and nothing short of bullies.
I used to be a fan of the site. Kaiser has ruined it. There’s hardly a celebrity news article. Mostly links.

It’s a dangerous breed of women that are indoctrinated by Kaiser. Cult. Yes. Much like MAGA.

It is literally a dumping ground for hate against anyone that does not agree with their opinions.

I cannot believe what this site has turned into. I used to love this site.

Overly Moderated Comments Remove Nuance

Ugh, I don't know what to say. Unlike many posts here I generally agree with their takes and enjoy the content even if I don't love the mean nicknames or think it gets too extreme at times. However, there is a fair amount of comment censoring at work. Mild criticisms or a slightly different takes are arbitrarily not allowed. Last week I saw a comment discussion that was "hey, love your site but I think saying 'burn them' [nepo babies] even in jest is maybe not cool especially given the Jeremy Clarkson situation" gone. I understand that a blog is not a democracy, but I'm looking for community. So if its a crapshoot whether a comment I write will be posted, or whether I will be allowed to see others' more nuanced takes, that sucks the fun out of it. Also, I think I'd rather spend my time with a content creator that can take their own medicine.

Edited to Add: Many of the anti-CB comments across the web (such as many on Reddit) are inextricably tied to this Sussex vs Wales insanity that has taken over the internet. I think Megan hate is disgusting and that CB has many excellent points in that regard. I simply dislike the arbitrary deleting of comments that are respectful and nuanced because the site's runners are in a mood.

Prepare to be censored if you aren't a stalker-fan of the royals.

I've been reading the blog for at least a decade, and I've been on post-approval for years. Not sure why -- I'm not a trouble-maker or troll, but the bloggers cannot allow comments that bring opposing viewpoints no matter how minor. For example, in one of their Amazon shill posts, I commented something like "yikes" to a ghastly velour tracksuit they were trying to push, but I followed it up with something positive about different item. DELETED.

In recent years, the blog has devolved into 10+ posts a day fawning/hating on the British royals...not celebrities. It's bizarre.

Dissenters will be shot!

Any opposition to the author’s viewpoint no matter how diplomatic is not posted. It seems like there’s just maybe four women constantly commenting under a series of different profile names. It’s seriously a horrible echo chamber of self righteous and narrowminded shrews. i’m not sure why I need to write a useful review when this site is blatantly rude and unwelcoming to any reader who dares question them. They are trying painfully hard to come across as woke but they just come across as a middle-aged, middle class, almost all white women who’s salivate at the opportunity to cancel or shame someone. It’s a terrible site but I admit to hate read it by checking it weekly. It seems to be more or less all about the Royals now which has a deeply delicious irony coming from these above it all faux social justice warriors.

Obsessed with the Royal Family

I used to read Celebitchy daily, but Kaiser's obsession with the Royals is just too much. Every fart of Meghan and Harry gets covered while other celeb gossip gets ignored or barely covered.

A few years ago it was fun. Now, it’s just insulting and filled with ignorance and disrespect. Who runs this site? Is Megan Markle paying them?! It’s a bore.

Bitchy Indeed

If you disagree, no matter how reasonably or politely, with the opinions of the head writer, you will find your offending comments deleted and yourself account-banned or even IP-banned. Also, if they stan a certain celebrity, they troll and attack that celebrity's perceived enemies with all manner of lies and delusions. Their level of obsession is in stalker territory, as in they think the object of their obsession is reading all their articles and comments, and communicating with them through outfits and other secret signs. They're crazy over there.

I’ve been visiting this site near daily…

I’ve been visiting this site near daily since 2009-that’s 13 years. It used to be excellent.

It’s devolved into an almost purely Royals blog with barely any other gossip content. One to two Royal articles a day would be more than enough.

They need to go ahead and rebrand because at this point calling it a celebrity gossip blog is false advertising.

I miss the old Celebitchy and have no intention of visiting it again because as they say over there in the comments, if you don’t like it don’t read it.

Oh I’m so glad I’m not alone

Oh I’m so glad I’m not alone. This used to be a great site but it is awful now. Now I’d say 80% of it is calling the royal family racists and fawning over Megan and Harry. It’s bizarre. The commenters are awful too.

Avoid this toxic site

Right to it. The opinions are poorly written and up to the commenters to fact check. The moderation allows for a single view so likeminded bullies are all you’ll see. Maybe once it was a balanced gossip site, but these ladies may be drunk on power and routinely remove what they disagree with within their own comment guidelines or not. They’ll also allow commenters to attack each other if they agree with it. It’s quite hateful and inaccurate. The ads are also invasive and the website itself has a terrible privacy rating on DuckDuckGo.
